I had a extremely awful encounter with the manager. My friend came into to return his controller, we had multiple set backs out of control. But when we came in with everything we needed including my government id, the working manager at 4:30 December 14th didn't allow us to return it. I was confused because I looked at the rules of the company and I did not need to be 18 for my RETURN. luckily the GameStop on causeway blvd answered clearly when I called them and allowed me to return it no problem. read more

Uhm... ignore the other reviews for this Gamestop because whatever they saw is not what I saw when I visited, and I'm a more recent reviewer. That being said, this GameStop has a lovely selection of games and merch, and the clerk was very helpful to me and the person I was with. My friend and I went into this GameStop to return a controller. The first issue started when the employee told us we needed an ID, without specifying what type. Since we are minors, we went back to the car and brought in our school IDs. When we returned, the employee then changed his tone and said it had to be a government-issued ID, which was never clarified initially. To resolve the situation, my older brother came inside and provided his government ID. The employee scanned it, made unnecessary and disrespectful remarks about my friend's card, and told us to "get it together." After scanning my brother's ID and seeing that it went through successfully, he gave us a strange look and asked, "Are any of y'all boys 18?" We said no, and explained that we were unaware you had to be 18 to return an item that was legally purchased. Instead of helping us, he continued to be dismissive. We then asked another adult customer in the store if they could assist us with the return. At that point, the employee--who identified himself as the manager (large afro, nose ring, African American)--said, "I can't let you do that. I'm the manager." We checked GameStop's return policy, and nowhere does it state that you must be 18 to return an item. The entire interaction was unprofessional, inconsistent, and disrespectful. To confirm this was not a company-wide rule, we went to the GameStop on Causeway next to T-Mobile and Village Inn immediately afterward. They returned the item with zero issues. We were in and out quickly, no attitude, no confusion, no made-up rules. This all happened on December 14 around 4:30 PM. I came to this gamestop to buy a headset and i saw the photo of the astros a40 mix amp pro at 149.99 and when i got them to buy it the guy named bill 428798 thats his work id he said they were on special and then when he scanned it said they were at 249.99 and he didnt want to give them to me at that price. If you make a mistake you better own it. Cause of that you guys lost 300$ today me and another customer wanted them. read more

The organization of this store is horrible. Everything is a mess. They have a weird zig zag line formation for checkout that takes up more than half the store. Employees are constantly bumping into you because of how narrow the layout is. read more

The guy named bill told me and another customer that they were on sale the astros a40 mix amp pro from 249 to 149 and when he scanned it said it was 249 and he couldn't sell it at 150 so he lost 2 customers and 300+ dollars cause of their mistake. read more
