This store is large. It's more warehouse style but he loved it. There are a lot of Funko pop and Pokémon and Sanrio. Games for gaming consoles. You can pre-order new releases. A sale section. And so many cute bags. Prices are average. The associate at the register was nice. We purchased some of the blind box cards he was looking for. There is a rewards program too. When second, who is the manager, isn't helping with the issue, he's ignoring the ever incurring line and answering the phone for stock questions. Oh, he came in and 10 min later he just left to vape some more. I get that breaks are important, but aren't we, the living, breathing customers? He never even looked up to acknowledge us. In direct opposition to Game Force comes Game Stop: they take the corporate feel of lifeless stores, inexperienced and rude staff, and overly expensive prices to a whole new level. Every time I am in here, I wonder around looking at the shelves sporting the newest nasty-ass sport game for $65 and silently tear up inside: video-games used to be cool damn-it. It used to be about just having some fun with friends instead of all image nastiness. (Look I don't care about how good the graphics are, if there is no game-play...then I would rather stare at a wall). One day especially sticks out: my roommate asked the manager what was new that he would suggest. He sat for a bit and told us to check out the new Mortal Combat (which played like an action rpg) game for the x-box. It was unusually cheap - $20 - for a new game. Now this fact in itself should have sent off warning signs, but, my roommate decided to listen to the dude and buy the game. In all my years of playing, I have found few shittier games then this one: it even crashed the x-box at one point. YES, YOU HEARD RIGHT. Seriously, avoid this store like the piece it is. read more

Not entirely thrilled with my experience here. The reason why is because I paid for an Oculus Quest 2 online. I went here to pick it up. In the email I received it said to show the email and ID. The guy didn't look at the email and didn't ask for my name or ID. So anyone who may have known I was picking it up could have come in and gotten it with no proof it was me. Update: Wow just came back to return and get a refund and just be done. They didn't give me back the original receipt and after clarifying more than once, found the receipt in the trash. I used to work for GameStop. When people return games that don't work, they just put them back in and say it should work on someone else's. Again, I'm not someone who doesn't know about games. Ok let me first just short and simply advise you to avoid this clusterfuck of a Gstop AT ALL COSTS! While this store is huge and their selection is much better than most the closet stores, the service set a new record for HORRIBLE. A scraggly man who called himself Goliath "helped me". I had a few questions about a ps3 game and he instead chose to berate me as if I was the dumbest customer in the planet. I literally lost my train of thought as his body odor invaded every level of my personal bubble possible. After making a quick escape from that goon, I made my selection and brought it to the check-out counter, thinking I had already experienced the worst ... fuck all was I WRONG! Goon #2 and Goon #3 stood ready to further ruin my day. I believe their name was John and Carl. Carl literally snatched the game from my hands, and John proceeded to talk my flipping ear off without even starting the transaction! Is this what hell is like?! What happened to just paying for a game and LEAVING. I watched as Carl grabbed my game, dropped my game and handed me the pre-owned game.... which it's last owner might have been a garbage disposal. The disc looked UNPLAYABLE... I handed them back said disc and with a sigh of DISGUST these two dipsticks grabbed another copy. An interrogation on pre-orders and a bath of foul body odor later ... I at last made my way out of this inner circle of hell ... and that is THE LAST time I will ever go here! Worked at this location and I can confirm its one of the worst in the state. Employees are constantly over worked and under paid, thus they can never operate at full capacity. I am not a gamer. My daughter is and works at another Gamestop in Wyoming. She wanted to see what this store offered, compared to hers. We were immediately greeted as we walked in. The associate struck up a conversation with my daughter, and she let her know that she also worked at Gamestop. The displays were all attractively arranged and orderly. I have no idea if they have the right selection for the target audience, as I am not the target audience. But my daughter was able to find an old Pokemon game and she was happy. I usually go to this game store because it is the closest that is not located in a mall, which I do my best to avoid. Though the selection is pretty good, I must say that the service is absolutely terrible. I've not been treated well a single time since I've been in there, even been told by an employee to "try to pay attention" when a new register opened. Nobody seems extremely knowledgeable in the gaming world, and I've on several occasions waited for them to find the discs for used games only to be informed that they can't find any (you had six copies on the rack!). I would recommend the EB Games in Cherry Creek mall (unfortunately) over this one. I always have a much better experience, even though it is quite a bit smaller. I'm almost beginning to think that the rejects from that EB are sent to the Gamestop. read more

Work wise, you're better off working for a much better higher paying job. I interviewed with them and was immediately hired on the spot. I had another job as a backbone in case things didn't work out here but need the extra money. The managers are the ONLY ones who get full time hours, game advisers and key holders barely get twenty hours. I showed extreme willingness to learn and came in when called to get more training, I had no customer complaints about me and they even came back just for me. I had to work at a different location just to cover someone where I get real hours for once but here's where it got interesting, both that store and this location took me off the schedule for some unknown reason. I immediately called both stores when I got a new phone number but they considered me to be a "no call no show" when I constantly called to see if they needed any help and told them to call me if someone was unable to work. For a whole two months they kept playing this game where I had to just quit and move on with my other job, apparently there's a lot of this going on at various locations which could explain why this company is going down the toilet. As a loyal customer it's still one of the biggest locations with a huge selection of products that never ceases to amaze you, still don't like how they rip you off on trade ins where you get more for in store credit but less for cash in hand. read more

Wow! We walk into the store from B&N and are immediately welcomed and asked if there is anything he can help us with. We replied we were just looking and walked down looking for PS Vita games. We were then greeted by another worker who welcomed us and asked what we were looking for. He led us right to be PS Vita section and showed us the new games and used games. Then asked if there was anything specific we were looking for. He looked it up and when he didn't have any in stock offered to buy and ship it to our home OR we could check out two other stores in the area showing that they had it!! The service here is so outstanding I **HAD** to log on and tell them and everyone. I have no clue why the other reviews are so low. But I did find out the store was recently taken over by new management so I hope that was it because the service here is really good. :) read more

I came in there wanting to buy a preowned Ouya less than a week ago but they were out of stock. They offered to order it for me through their online in store, where they can order for you and have it sent to your house and you can pay for it in there with trades/cash/card but I am particular with what I buy and wanted to see the condition of the system before buying it. The associate, Keaton, then looked on his computer for the one nearest to have it sent. He called 5 stores before he found a store that would be willing to send it. He took my name/number down and promised to call me as soon as it got in. Jessica, another associate working there, called me this morning to let me know it had arrived and apologized for getting their much later than they were anticipating. I told her that it was no problem at all and appreciated them having sent all the way from California. As soon as I stepped foot into the store I was verbally greeted by 3 employees and approached by one of them, Jessica. She then asked what she could help me find and I let her know that she called me about the Ouya. Without missing a beat she handed me a flyer and said, "I have it in the back with your name on it so I'll go grab it but before I do I wanted to let you know of our current specials." Apparently they have a 50% more on game trade deal going on for the next couple of days. She ran to the back and within minutes met me at the counter where she handed the transaction off to Keaton. (The store is huge btw) He and I checked it out, I purchased it and which he asked what systems I currently own. He hooked me up with a free one year warranty on the ouya and a free $10 game in the process. Gamestop is all about deals and their associates are all about making sure we're in the know of them. This store has a huge selection, much much bigger than your normal locations, and the friendliest of staff there. Keep up the fantastic work and now to game on my OUYA!!! read more

Have had nothing but amazing experiences at this Gamestop. I chose this for my Black Thursday steals they were having and they dealt with it amazingly. Everyone was patient, no one rushed, the store manager (his name is the name of the mask in Ocarina of time that looks like Pikachu ;) handled the volume of people awesomely and they are all super helpful. I wish I could name drop. Anytime I have any questions or issues, someone has the answer and they find it. They give great advice and help across all systems and with any game type. They communicate as a team. They are a sweet machine. GameStop, count your lucky stars that you have such a rad team there. They also have a huge selection of new and used games and merchandise. Typically they run cool deals and I try to go at least once a month to get something. Also, try to grab a switch and Breath of the Wild if you like open world games or Zelda. Holy smokes.
