This is THE BEST place to get your books if you are an IUPUI student. The prices are much lower than the B&N on campus and the staff is wonderful. They know tons about the classes and the books, and if you actually need the "suggested" supplementary book or not, and will often cut you a deal on them if you ask. It's also easier and free-er to park here than at Campus Center, and if you are a procrastinator they seem to always have the books that B&N sold out of, and you can't wait to get it sent if you ordered online. They also sell school supplies and are the only place near campus that sells cigarettes.

Coming from San Francisco, where most shops aren't much bigger than Mage's restroom area, I was absolutely blown away by how massive and spacious this store is! The variety of comics was refreshing. You'll find all the week's comics easily. As for back issues, there are drawers that pull out so you don't have to reach all the way to the back of an old long box. They had plenty of long runs of titles which were reasonably priced. Notably, there was a display of the old Mirage Studios TMNT which brought me back to the days when I was an avid collector of Independents. I felt like a kid again! Between the incredible comics, the massive selection of toys and games, and the lineup of arcade machines, I truly felt like I walked into a time machine and was transported back to a time from my fondest memories.
