Can you give 0 Stars? I was so excited to buy a new OLED Nintendo Switch on my birthday and tried…read moreto buy online for the $25 promo. I received several error messages however my card was charged three separate times. I decided to go in store to pick up the switch anyway and it turns out you can still get the discount in store per the in-store advertisements. At the store, I was told I had to sign up for the GameStop pro membership for the console and they said membership would be free with my purchase of the switch. When the transaction finalized, I realized that I had received NO $25 DISCOUNT ON THE CONSOLE. Instead the clerk claimed that the $25 discount removed the $23.66 Pro membership THAT I DIDN'T EVEN WANT. I asked for a refund so we could charge it again so that I can get the discount. During my negotiation to get the $25 discount I said "Thanks for working with me to get this figured out, you gotta understand that I'm trying to take advantage of the promo." And the employee responded "Yeah, but in a literal sense there's no point in trying to save $25 when you're already spending $350." HAHAHA. No. LITERALLY, the goal of the promo is to save 10% on a $250 purchase. That's the same value as purchasing all 48 bonus tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! Condescending and disrespectful treatment from the employees tainted my birthday Switch experience. Be prepared to fight for your discount at this location and be aware that a pro membership is not required for purchase of consoles. They also weren't able to run my Discover credit card even though it says they take it. Maybe negative stars would be more appropriate here.

This store offers many products that could fit almost anybody's interests!…read moreGreat for gift shopping, fun atmosphere, music is always playing. They have a pretty sizable wall of POPs that frequently gets Chases, and also offer the occasional choice to pre order an F.Y.E. exclusive POP (which if you later choose to not want, you can refund). They offer a service called Mix & Burn where you can choose select songs to burn a cd of your own that you can name and include custom cover art. Prices sometimes can be a little much, but there are always deals in the store. Make sure to ask the employees about the deals F.Y.E. offers, you'd be surprised how much you can get for so little.

As a vinyl collector, I absolutely love running into random music shops. And in a mall, it's…read morepractically unheard of. I don't think I've seen a music shop in a mall in maybe 10 or 15 years - or ever since Sam Goody went out of business. So that's definitely awesome. FYE has a very good selection of vinyl, which I really appreciated. I primarily listen to rock and metal and they had everything I could possibly want, Metallica, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pantera, the Stones, etc. But who's pricing this stuff? Their prices are absolutely insane! They were selling a copy of Kiss - Destroyer which actually purchased not too long ago on Amazon for 23 bucks and they were selling it for $50. Likewise with the rest of their selection, everything seemed to be around double what you'd pay at any other retailer. So unfortunately I didn't leave with anything because I'm definitely not paying double price, as much as I love the idea of a store. Three stars overall. Definitely cool but wildly expensive.

I love Barnes & Noble for the same reason every bibliophile loves a good bookstore. They keep it…read moreclean and somehow they keep that fresh book smell in the air because it hit you as soon as you walk into the door. I went there just to browse with my daughter and see if there was anything that caught my eye, we had a nice time doing that the store was clean, and the staff really were in the zone helping people who actually have questions, but they were always present and always moving about so I did feel that if I needed anything, someone was immediately available for me to ask. This is my go to Barnes & Noble because the newest one Tequesta is kind of far but if you have the opportunity check that one out. The layout is totally different and it's a little bit brighter and the staff is a bit more interactive I think because of the newness. Barnes & Noble always has sales. They had plenty of books that were 30% off and buy one get one. And if you become a member, there's a lot of Parks for that too. I think you get 10 or 20% off every purchase. I get mine from being a teacher. I'm sure they have other discount discounts for people who work in other areas. All in all, I appreciate mainly that when I'm there I can use a Barnes & Noble gift card in the coffee shop as well as to purchase books I included photos of some of my favorites attached to this review. If you want recommendations, let me know.. Enjoy! Another review from the hungry poet, straight no chaser! -Lizz
