BE WARNED: this location doesn't buy or sell retro games. I understand not having the inventory to sell retro at every Gamestop store. But if the retro games are in the system with trade in prices already set why can't this store take them and ship batches periodically to stores that sell retro? Seems like a pretty dumb restriction. Crowded small stores turn me away and leave me not wanting to even enter the doorway when I am at the mall. But, Game Stop is one of the stores that my kids (now adults) have me trained to stop in. I really only shop here for the holidays, birthdays or if I am picking up something for my son because I am in the area and he isn't. The guy at the store was busy but he raised his head, greeted me and said he would be with me in a few moments. That goes a long way in my book. I love being acknowledged....period!! Adam, my daughters boyfriend, was in my shopping posse today and he ended up buying 2 games and some badges/pins for his cousin's jacket. Apparently she collects them. The store was crowded with merchandise, branding, shoppers and it was just a narrow mall store but I browsed and then went to wait in the mall hallway to fight my anxiety issues on crowded spaces. I like GameStop and can usually find them in any mall in America!!! read more

I received very poor customer service from the store leader, Hannah. Little was done to make my time in the store pleasant and I ended up leaving without product because of it. GameStop has been one of my favorite places to shop for the past several years, but my recent experience has unfortunately hurt my relationship with the store. Absolutely loved this store prior to 2023 but management changes have taken it from a place I loved to shop at and have made me question whether I'll be stopping in again. A price was advertised on their app for a product. After making a 25-minute drive to the store, I was told by the associate that the price shown on their app wasn't accurate and that she WOULD NOT be honoring the price I was advertised (a roughly 9 dollar difference) which was the entire reason I went into the store. She was very unsympathetic to my situation and did not offer any helpful solutions so that I could leave as a satisfied customer. I left the store with a bad experience and no purchases, effectively wasting an hour of my time round-trip while gasoline is $3.76 per gallon in my city. Absolutely DO NOT recommend this store anymore under current leadership and/or policies. read more

Would not recommend this GameStop. Decided to pick up Pokemon Legends Arceus on launch day. Went into the store guy asked me if I had a pre-order for the game I told him no and he acted annoyed and went and got one out of the game locker. Ask him if he would price match Walmart's price of 49.94 he told me not on this specific title and before I had a chance to say anything spun around and put it back. I said okay and walked out. Went up the road to Best Buy and showed where Walmart was selling it at that price and Not only did they sell it to me at that price they also lowered the price on all of their copies of it to that price. As well as while I was standing there they had another employee that was refunding some other people that had purchased it online and not picked it up for the difference. Manager said to me thank you if we knew Walmart was selling it that low we would have listed it that low to begin with. Not saying GameStop should have lowered the price on other copies but they should have at least done it when I proved other retailers we're selling it for Less. This is something I've done in the past at the Circleville location but never at the Lancaster gamestop and obviously that GameStop doesn't care if they make a sell or not. read more

We stopped in late on Friday. The man working was super friendly and didn't make us feel rushed at all (although we hurried). He answered all of our questions and was really personable. He wore a mask and cleaned the card reader after we were finished checking out which I appreciated. read more

Really aggravated that I purchased 3 NEW games on 11/11, and when GameStop themselves offered those games cheaper on Black Friday, I bought the same new games again and tried to return the more expensive ones I had purchased. Even brand new, still sealed, and with a receipt, they refused to give me my money back! They would only give me a gift card, claiming that I had to return NEW MERCHANDISE WITHIN 7 DAYS OR THEY WON'T RETURN YOUR MONEY! What? The return policy on the receipt and online says that I have 30 days to return unwanted new merchandise that sealed with a receipt! I've bought everything I want for Xmas, I don't want to spend any more money at your store any time soon! After I use that card, I will never shop with this scam company again! So, I hope your inability to follow your own company policies is worth the negative reviews I'll be leaving everywhere and the lost future revenue! read more

I love this place, is bigger and not crowded as the GameStop in the River Valley Mall. The workers are nice and very helpful. I recently got Diablo III and he made sure that my computer would be able to run it before i bought it. (you can't return PC games) They are also very smart on what they know. Plus i love the GameStop point card. Rack up those points and receive certain % off games and other stuff- How awesome is that! I love it- Don't buy my games anywhere else!!! read more

Always has a huge selection of new and used video games. My kids love this place. The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable.

Recently tried to participate in the Pokemon serial code giveaways. There was one during Aug/Sept and one just started yesterday. These codes are for Pokemon X and Y which and are supposed to be completely free. This store told me they required pre-orders for the new before you got any codes. That is not the case and if you check Nintendo's websites they say no such thing. Despite informing them of this fact they refused to give them out. Looks like they want to use giveaways to increase sales which is your classic bait and switch tactic. I've already emailed Nintendo and Gamestop about this crap. I guess their policy is to lie to the customer, and I sincerely hope they stop trying to trick people. read more
