The staff is some of the worst employees I've ever dealt with. They are always unhelpful when I ask about an item, and every single time I have called this location NO ONE ANSWERS! So I end up driving to the store and ask the question in person... and it's always such a waste of time because the answer is always "no we don't have it" Wish they knew how a business phone works I only go here because it's the closest option but I'm definitely going to start driving literally 12 miles the opposite way just to go to a different one read more

Solid GameStop. Good staff. Clean store with tons of parking. With most franchises you get what you expect every time but I like the dudes here they aren't super aggressive about pre orders and insurance on games and pre order bonuses and stuff like other locations. I will admit the guy did get me to sign up for pro rewards again because he said that if I used my $5 per month and spent it on Nintendo credit that's a free game a year and it's only 10 to sign up. Idk why other locations don't mention that because it was very helpful and, as someone that also works in sales, I didn't feel pressured by this in any way shape or form. read more

I have to add a good review, since my son really likes this place. They have always provided good service to us, and we have regularly purchased things here as a result. This is a standard store, so no weird life-size superhero statues to ogle like you might see at bigger stores such as the one on Broadway and 33rd Street in Manhattan. read more

I have called this store multiple times because I happen to be traveling on release day for the Nintendo Switch (and the weekend after) due to unforeseen circumstances. I have left messages for the regional manager to ask for a 24 hour extension on how long they will hold my pre-order. I have contacted corporate customer support asking them to have the regional manager call me. I was told I would be contacted in 24 hours (4 days later, still has not happened). Terrible terrible customer service. I have spent thousands of dollars at gamestops in the past and I will probably never give them another dime for this terrible service. read more

I tried to return an item. While there I was told that my return could not be processed because the original credit card the purchase was made under had been canceled due to fraud and I was issued a new number. I was told the only thing I could do to process my return would be to make a case at the store in which I made the purchase at even though my name was on the receipt and I had identification and was willing to call my bank in front of the employee to prove there was fraud. He said this was unacceptable because I could only make a call to Game Stop for information, I offered to have him validate the phone number, he said it would not work. I asked for this in writing so I could process a claim with my credit card and he said he would have to call corporate. He would not process my return because he was afraid of dealing with an inquiry from GameStop Cash Management. Eventually, he agreed to process my return only because I said it would be difficult to go to the original store, over an hour drive away. Then he said he would not be able to process my return because I infrequently shopped at GameStop and said it was suspicious to buy a big ticket item and return it, even though he checked all the parts were there and broke the seal making it nearly impossible to resell if they would not take the item. I kept telling him that I would have to call my credit card company and request a refund from them because he was violating the return policy of the store. Nowhere does their return policy say a case must be made to the original store if the card was re-issued due to fraudulent charges. The item was unopened and had the receipt. The return was eventually processed; however, this took over 30 minutes pleading to an employee to follow their policy. This was a very annoying situation with BS excuses by staff. read more

Its a GameStop. nothing more but much less than all the rest. Try giving them a ring... did you get a busy signal or did it just ring for 5 minutes? I would say its not a big deal but its been over a year that this has been going on and they are fully aware of this issue (they can even here the phone ringing but cant pick it up from what the guy said yesterday). one reason i gave it one star was because (after i contacted the stamford location and talked to someone whom had previously worked at this location) I herd that they're better stocked with new games than a normal store... most likely because no one can call in to see the stock they have left. read more

This has to be the most neglected game stop around, almost all their used games done have covers, the customer service is not the best unless you're a 13 year old asking a simple question. I went there to buy my son a Playstation 4 which was the military edition, they didn't have it in stock when I called that morning at 10 am to ask if they did, I was told they had three in stock, I head there and got there around 1140 the same day and they are telling me that they don't have any in stock, I said I just called and I know for a fact that the person who I was speaking too in person was the same person that answered the phone, when I said I just called, he said he didn't know who answered the phone, it was just him and a girl working there and when I asked the girl if anyone else was working there she said no its just us two. So that really upset me, then when I said when will you get more they said they have no idea, that I should just order it on line, if I wanted it on line I would have bought it on line... So now I just bought a bundle from amazon instead with free two day shipping. Never again will I walk into another game stop.... read more
