Not a bad place to find video games. Not so much on toys and clothes. It was busy with a long line. The sale after after Christmas was weak.

This location has terrible customer service. Nobody greeted me when I walked in, they saw me walking around looking confused but did not offer help. Between another customers transaction, I told her what I was looking for and she grabbed the most expensive one. No thanks. read more

Very disappointed with the way the employees handle business here. I called earlier today and talked to a female employee about getting an item. She checks the computer then tells me it's in stock and reserves one for me to purchase when I got there. A little while later, I arrive at the store and was greeted by a male employee. I told him what I was there for and got, "oh yeah, what you wanted isn't available yet. It's released on the 27th, blah blah blah." I told him that the female employee (who was clearly in the backroom) told me it was available for purchase and that was the only reason I came down. "Yeaahhhhh sorrryyy about that" was my only response. Thanks GameStop for making me waste my time. 1 minute out of your day to check if you actually had the item could have saved my time and a customer, but you all couldn't even do that. This place is small and already know who I am since I'm there all the time. I love the easy way to return and get credit. Never had hassles like other game stop stores. If a game is not there, they will call another location that has one. I have never had any problems of another store holding a game in stock:-) read more

This is a really great spot to get your games. i just bought three last night and i was just going to check some stuff out. there is a young girl that works there that helped me out that was so nice i decided to buy some games and since i bought one a had to buy 3. she didn't know everything but she was very helpful and was on top pf things, in fact i was just checking to see if a game was available and because she worked so hard to find it i decided to just buy it instead of wait. when the service is great i don't mind spending money, plus i used my Gamestop card and got an additional 15% off of the low prices already. i ended up with 3 good games and i will keep coming back to get some more stuff. thanks guys, i really appreciate the extra hard work because i can be so damn indecisive when buying games so when i get good feedback and good service it helps to make my decision making better. on other thing that i like about this place is that when you sign up with them they send you a subscription to a video game magazine and that helps me know whats up and coming and it is better then the Internet. definitely stop by this place it is better then going to a big retail store like walmart for a game where you cant even find someone to open the glass to get it out for you and you still pay top price. so give your business to game stop you wont be disappointed read more

The Black Friday event was a bad joke at the GameStop in the Terra Vista Center in Rancho Cucamonga. I got there at 3 AM and was the 18th person in line...Stayed in line the whole time. At 6:30 AM an employee of Gamestop came out an announced to us all that did have any PS5 although I'd been told by that same GS that they'd have about 100 of them on Black Friday .needless to say several of us popsicle frozen people were quite upset. Simply put they are the best Game Stop has to offer: their organic rankings are excellent (meaning people find what they need as easy and easily as 1, 2, 3). The best part is, if they don't have it, they track it down, find it, and get it I speak with Dan and his staff as if they were my own family, friends from years past or even a close neighbor. They spend their time answering my questions, providing objective data regarding what's new, what's hot, what's a hit and even what's not so good to give me the best choice I need to make for my purchase. I am by no means an avid gamer but I am absolutely fanatical about any & all things Zelda, so it goes without saying that I love the Zelda series amiibo figures. Well, with the recent release of the Nintendo Switch and BOTW the stock/supply of the newer amiibos have been abysmal ESPECIALLY when it comes to store "exclusives". I hadn't had too many problems in being able to pick up the newer amiibo figures with the exception of the GameStop exclusive Twilight Princess Link. This is by no means GameStops fault, I just happened to miss the pre-order window. I was definitely upset though. After they were released in-store I searched feverishly to see if I might be lucky enough to come across a canceled pre-order or a return but no luck :( that was until I visited the Rancho location last week. I went in to check if they had received any more shipments and to my absolute surprise they had received one... EXACTLY ONE! But I was heartbroken when I was told that I had missed out on being able to purchase it as someone had picked it up only 45 minutes earlier. Here is where my story ends on a happy note. I spoke with VICTOR and we chatted for a bit regarding the likelihood of a restock and what I could possibly do and without me even asking, Victor took it upon himself to reach out to all of the other local stores, unfortunately none of them had stock either. However, he asked me to leave my name and number and he would do what he could to reach out to the greater part of his stores district and even reach out to the corporate side if need be... and by god, two hours later he called me back to tell me that he was able to find the amiibo I was looking for and that I'd be able to pick it up the next week! Victor is the epitome of customer service, I have rarely had someone go so far above and beyond for me. This isn't the normal GameStop I visit but it will be from now on! Thank you so much Victor!! I walked in on Sunday evening around 7 p.m. I was not greeted by anyone, the store wasn't busy, there were two Representatives working at the time. I was browsing around for about 10 to 15 minutes, line started building up and one of the representatives was just sitting in the back doing nothing. The representative sitting behind the counter apparently was on break. This is very bad perception. And the one representative that was helping customers was very rude and she was drinking a Starbucks coffee while she was talking to customers that she was helping over the counter. This is very unprofessional I know that it's a video game store but that does not eliminate the fact that customer service should be a priority. I was going to purchase, but the service was so bad I felt that if I purchase something but it was morally incorrect. This is a prime example of bad customer service. And this is why companies lose customers because of it. Even my 12 year old daughter said that they were rude. She completely understands why we did not purchase anything from the store. I hope that whoever reads this review takes it into consideration that whoever was working on the night of April 15th 2018 at 7 p.m. should be reviewed. I love my local GameStop!!! I preordered MK10 the Saturday before the Tuesday launch. My job had me go out-of-down to deal with a client. I was unable to pick up my copy on Tuesday. I then had to plan between my work hours and store hours and it seemed as timing was just not working. I spoke to Christine, the manager and I explained to her my dilemma and she stated that there is a 48 hour hold policy on pre-orders. However, my copy has not been bought yet and she could hold it for my until the next day. I caught the 12 noon flight from Arizona the next day. Landed in LAX, went to my office in West Covina, typed up my report, dropped of my car rental in Rowland Heights, then survived traffic to make just in time at 8:15 (they close at 9). Cameron greeted me. I stated what Christine said. He said bro..your game is right here. Transaction took less than 10 minutes..and I was at home enjoying MK10 by 9pm..Thank you Christine for understanding my problem..and Cameron for fast, polite, and informative service. read more

It's a regular Gamestop. Waiting in line can be a drag sometimes cuz usually only 1 register is open when there are more than enough customers. But the reason why I didn't give them a 3 star rating is because their midnight launches are quite nice. Free food and beverages during new releases (depending on the video game). If it's call of duty, there's usually a tournament. Stuff like that. It's really fun. Period. read more

So I was in here today to make my second return in less than a week. My sons #1 gift he wanted was a Assassins Creed hidden blade. So I bought it for him and seeing his face light up on Christmas Day was amazing but seeing his heartbroken face when it broke two hours later made me so sad. So the next day we go to exchange it and he's happy again and so am I. I kid you not when I say it broke again within just a few hours. Mind you he's ten years old and not using it harshly or in anyway that it isn't supposed to be used in. So I go to return it today and ughhhhhh to the girl at the register. She was rude to say the least. Didn't greet me and blatantly made faces as I was describing what happened. I told her I just wanted my money back as this wasn't the product we had hoped for (quality wise). She was saying under her breath how she didn't think it should be returned etc luckily I am no pushover so I got my refund. That's the only reason I didn't rate it lower. Only gave one star so this would be seen. Came to this GameStop to pick up a pre ordered game that I got and the guy helping me was super rude and kept ignoring me to talk to his coworker. I explained that I ordered the game from another GameStop and he told me he couldn't help me and that I'd have to go to that GameStop upon leaving I called the store I had originally ordered from and the manager said that was not the case so I went back in and told the employee what the manager told me and he was extremely rude and told me that he couldn't do anything and left the counter. I'm so unhappy with this experience. I don't know if your stores can't communicate or what but I will not be going back to this store. read more
