I came in with 6 consoles, over a 100 games and game cards attachments etc and , equipment that I could have bought online and eBay. Shop at retro teyoh's not to far up the road. The store has an impressive selection, but i really hate the way the owner conducts business. If there is no price marked, prepare to pay over ebay prices. I would shop there if the prices were more fair, but i don't love this business model, especially when these games have been there for a while. read more

Go to Retro Teyoh's on Foothill and Campus This place sucks. From my visits. I can tell there are only 2 men on the payroll. The jerk owner and his constituent. This last visit will be my last. Relationship started off well. Decent trade in value and always gave an offer. I came in Thursday 1/19/25 and wasn't greeted at all. Had to whistle for service. Had with me an "opened" but brand new device and the jerk didn't know what it was first of all and offered me $4 for something I would have gladly taken $40 which was 60% of what I paid originaly. I wouldn't recommend this game store compared to other ones in the area. They tend to price their items high, a lot higher than a quick eBay search can get you. I'm not sure if it's every item in the store, I'm sure some have a competitive price tag, but overall not good value here. read more

M & M is a store I really wanted to like. The assortment of rare, sealed, and boxed items from all generations of video gaming are truly impressive. Unfortunately that's where my praise for their store ends. The process in which M&M quotes their prices is time consuming and will set you up for mind numbing sticker shock. Most items in the store are unmarked leaving you open for the M&M ultra high quote to the moon. Jason (whom seems perturbed by customers and would probably be rather taking a nap) will take the items to his back computer, look at the most current listings on eBay, and then quote 20% higher then current market price. He will never take into consideration completed listings, current prices on price charting, or another competitors's prices. During my last visit (and final visit) Jason became so perturbed while quoting me prices he advised, "You should just go get this off eBay because I can't quote you the price you want." I told him no worries and left without uttering a word. No worries indeed the experience at M&M caused me to go to Pixel Vault Games a few minutes away. Roger whom helped me at Pixel Vault was infinitely more courteous and appreciative than Jason at M&M. Thanks to Roger at Pixel Vault Games for my beautiful boxed Zelda for NES!!!! read more

I called as soon as they opened and was told they had Pokémon Yellow and Gamboy Color in stock. Was able to purchase both immediately and start playing. I was also looking for a certain game and he told me I could call him every week and he'd let me know if it passes through. Also in California I have been to almost every retro game store around here. And let me tell ya, this owner; he has everything from consoles to original consoles still in their box to a very wide selection of parts and games throughout his whole store. Not only that but he knows where everything is and that goes a long way. I've been to stores where I would say a game and the owner would just point; saying the Nintendo games are over there. but this owner, when I say a game, he knows exactly where it is and exactly how many he has. Manager and Assistant Both Tried to Undercut Me on the Value of my Stuff, Only Offering Me 10% of What It Was All Worth. What an incredible store and selection. I've been coming here since the early X-box days and the owners have always been super cool and friendly. My only gripe and this is mostly on me is the prices for anything Nintendo are crazy high. I'm talking something that would go on eBay for $50 tops is well over a hundred here. Frankly I'm mostly mad at myself for not researching more before I bought the item. Lesson learned. All that being said the selection is very good and they got a lot of stuff you simply won't find anywhere else nearby. Do your research before buying and you'll be alright. read more

This place is overpriced and have horrible service. I bought a game for $59.99 and then saw it at Walmart for $49.99. They were not willing to price match or give me a refund, within an hour of my purchase. I highly advise to stay away from a business that runs their ship like this. So many negative reviews for a store like this! This is what happens when elitist asswipe "retro purists" think they know everything and demand to be treated like royalty. It's no bigger than your average GameStop. Why can't places like this be bigger? --PRICE. I get the feeling that I paid a lot more for the games I chose than what they're really worth, but they had what I wanted so I took it. It's called CAPITALISM. --SELECTION. Yes, they have a large amount of retro stuff but they don't have very much current-gen titles to choose from.
