Smaller Zumies than usual but they stuffed a lot of selections in here. The staff was overwhelmed bu the increased holiday traffic so I wont knock them too bad. My kid is growing and he loves zumies pants. I got him his first 2 paits at Camarillo outlets. Cool people there. Brought my kid to this place in Victoria Gardens. The music playing was way inappropriate. Every 3rd word was F***. There are items that are for sure not for kids, but I'll keep him away from that. I'm retired military, this doesn't affect me but no store that sells kids clothing should be playing this music. Tone it down a bit. read more

This place gets a zero. Unfortunately, it has to receive at least one star. I walked into this store with my 10 yr old. Only to hear hip hop music through the speaker. I'm ok with hip hop, however, I'm not ok with the lyrics, "Sucking *** and licking **. It is unfathomable that the owner/manager of this store is ok with the music that's played while families shop inside for clothing. This isn't the first time. Stopped in to do some Christmas shopping and I was instantly overwhelmed. I have been to a few Zumiez stores and the layout of their stores typically don't make sense to me. But this one is just a nightmare. Everything, and I am not being dramatic... Every rack is fully packed with clothes & none of it seems to be organize. I was looking for a specific Adidas jacket and when I asked an associate if they had it she said the only jackets that were similar were the ones next to the cash wrap. I could not spend more than 5 minutes in here because it is SO SO packed no room to even look. read more

My daughters bday weekend is coming up. She had an idea of what she wanted but no real direction. That's where Ashley and Dev played a major roll. They were so sweet, patient and helpful. They catered to our needs and never once got annoyed at all my mom questions. They were absolutely wonderful. The best zumiez I've been to hands down. I'd recommend anyone to go there just because of the friendly services those 2 particular ladies provided. Listen up Rancho Cucamonga, rarely have I encountered such a FABULOUS customer service team! Thanks to Sergio, Jasmine, Devin, & Mark, our experience was efficient, extremely enjoyable, and productive. My numerous questions and sizing changes were received with kindness & a refreshing professionalism not often practiced nowadays. Although I tend to be more frugal with my clothing purchases, the staff's outstanding service and harmonious vibe won me over. The worst customer service. Came by to purchase a few things for my son. After purchasing, while still in the store. My son wanted to put the shirt on. I asked an associate for scissors to cut off the tag and I noticed that the seam of the shirt began to unravel and will soon become a hole. I asked the associate that checked me out to see if there was another shirt in the same size. After checking there wasn't. So I asked if there was anyway I could receive some kind of discount. Before she could say anything another associate shouts from another register and says no I can not receive a discount and to take as is. I mentioned to him about the hole and was there anything they can do. He rudely said no once again and that I didn't have to purchase the shirt if I didn't want it. What kind of customer service is that for an associate who I wasn't speaking to, talk to a customer like that. He showed no empathy and did not give me any other option. Terrible customer service once again. This needs to be escalated to upper management. I will be contacting corporate. read more

Have we lost the art of customer service training and customer service? This company needs to train their employees on " CUSTOMER SERVICE"; how to respond to, and how to acknowledge customers in need of help. This particular female employee was standing in the middle of the customer service counter with her head down doing paperwork. I certainly didn't want to bother her, but I asked her "excuse me where to can I pay for this here "and she said "yeah". Then another service rep make walked up and said he would help me pay for my item. I asked her if she heard me when I asked for help and she said "yeah" & went right back to her paperwork without apologizing. The word yeah is in proper to acknowledge anyone in the business world. If an employee is doing paperwork, perhaps him/her/they shouldn't stand in the middle of the customer service counter? read more

Store has great deals but the reason for my low rating is because of the image and environment the store has that's very inappropriate for young kids and unfortunately that's who's shopping in there. The staff plays the most vulgar, explicit music in the store that I have ever heard. It was definitely not music that could even be played on the radio. Music that's very disrespectful to women and the constant condoning of drug use. I didn't know the store was like that till my son brought me in there to buy something he wanted. My friend who had her three year old with her decided to stand outside because she didn't want her son listening to the music they were playing. I feel it's a very bad image for the store and none of the sales or deals are worth taking advantage of with the type environment they have there. Apparently, this seems to be common with all the stores because my mother mentioned to me that she went to another store, different location, at the Ontario Mills mall and they were doing the exact same thing...playing explicit music. She said her and another mother were running out of the store. Great service! Went in to buy a mini cruiser that I had called ahead to see if they had, and when I called ahead they took time to check to see if they had it (its a fairly new one so it was a little had to describe), they offered to keep them on hold for me even though I said I might just want to take at look at it. When I got in there I was immediately greeted and one of the women saw that I had my "I voted" sticker on. They remembered my name from the call ahead and gave me the boards to check out. Part of the reason I decided to go ahead and buy the board was because everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and they chatted with me about why I was buying the board etc. without feeling like they were pressuring me at all. I HATE when I go into a place and feel like all they're doing is pushing a sale, and that's definitely not how I felt here. This seems like a place they enjoy working and everyone there seemed to like each other, that can really make all the difference. If I needed something else from them I'd defnitely chose this location again! read more

I went in, found an item i liked but it was the incorrect size, i went to the front to see if they had anymore or if there was one available in the correct size at a nearby location, i was told one was available in Montclair, they actually had 5 in stock, they would process an order for me for pickup at said store, i agreed, paid, they gave me a printed copy, i go to Montclair the next day, they tell me they don't have my order, i look at my paper, said "ship to store" not pickup, she said it wouldn't get here for about 4-5 days. So the employee at Victoria Gardens lied about inventory, and processed an incorrect order because i would never agree to have it shipped to a further location, i would have requested it to be shipped to victoria gardens, i call customer service, they didn't even care and basically said oh well, nothing we can do, you have to go pick it up in Montclair, never apologized for the employee messing up or anything. Literally the worst place with the worst people. This place seems as though it is run by a bunch of toddlers. I have visited this store a couple of times and every single time all the employees are hanging out talking playing games and disregarding the customers and also the store. it is always a mess!!!!! today was the worst visit yet. I tried returning some shirts for my boyfriend while he was at work. I asked who I'm assuming is the manager if I could and he no joke inspected the two shirts for five minutes complete with turning them inside out and actually SMELLING the armpits. wow. I have worked In retail for over 6 years and never have I once been told to do this/ witnessed this. he was a real jerk and I can understand why the store is a complete joke if this is how the managers act. he told me they had been worn and argued about it. he acted as if I was a criminal and said that it was a health issue since it had deodorant on it!!!!! it was tried on for no longer than 6 seconds and realized it fit horribly. long story short if you wanted to be treated like crap come here!!!!! plus all the employees were making fun of their bad yelp reviews so I figured they would enjoy this. they need corporate and district to rehire all new employees. really bad. read more

I visited this store few times. I had ordered a hat to my son from the zumiez.com and wanted it to be shipped this (Victoria Gardens) store. There were some issues in shipping. Customer service was really bad. Store manager was rude to me and even called me a liar. She told third person aloud in the store that "I´m is tired of listening this customer". I was calm and tried to explain to her my situation. She was not able to digest my customer feedback. Really unprofessional. I cannot recommend this store to anybody. read more
