If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a refurbished Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, which was supposed to arrive in one week. Instead, it took 18 days, and when it finally showed up, it was the wrong item--I only received controller accessories, not the actual controller. I called customer service, and was told I had to drive 50 minutes to a GameStop store to return the incorrect item before they would send the right one. I explained that the mistake was theirs, not mine, and asked if they could just email me a return shipping label to avoid wasting time and gas. I also asked if they could go ahead and ship the correct item since my order was already 11 days late. They refused and said it was "company policy." When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they would say the same thing. At that point, I asked for a refund instead. Again, I was told I'd have to go to the store to return the item. I voiced concern because the item I received was worth less than what I paid. The representative said it wouldn't be a problem and emailed me a letter to bring to the store. Today, I went to GameStop, and the store manager had to call customer service--only to be told that the store couldn't process the return after all. I was emailed a shipping label and told I now had to take the package to UPS myself. This entire process has been frustrating, disorganized, and a total waste of time. I have visited this GameStop location two times within the last two months. Both times, I have left this store empty-handed due to the horrendous customer service. One employee, Ahmet, displayed a particularly insolent, condescending, and callous attitude toward me during each of my two visits. On my first visit to this establishment, I inquired to Ahmet about "Red Dead Redemption 2" for PlayStation 4 because I was interested in purchasing the Special Edition. He told me the store sold all its copies of this game, but both his co-worker and the official GameStop website claimed otherwise. Sure enough, this store had several copies available for sale, disproving Ahmet's prior statement. My subsequent decision to opt out of the company's PowerUp Rewards program further tainted Ahmet's ego because he lost a $35 sale, which would have included both the $15 membership fee and $20 for the member price of "Injustice 2" for PlayStation 4. Ahmet grew in hostility when my gift card failed to register for payment on "Red Dead Redemption 2," leading him to adopt a supercilious temper toward me. He attempted to rectify my failed gift card by calling corporate to no avail, resulting in additional anger on his part and the decision to leave on mine. Despite the poor customer service I received from Ahmet on my first visit two months ago, I decided to both reserve my judgement and return to this GameStop location today to search for Funko POP! vinyl figures. To my dismay, I discovered this store's atmosphere has not changed within the last two months, as Ahmet both refused to acknowledge my presence and failed to greet me when I entered the store. Normally, such a failure to notice customers as Ahmet's would not be upsetting, but I was offended by his lack of humanity because I was the only customer to whom he did not provide salutation, likely since he remembered our initial encounter. I did not allow Ahmet's rude, unprofessional, and childlike behavior to preclude me from browsing the store for the items for which I was searching. After fifteen minutes of searching for Funko POP! figures, I overheard Ahmet and his co-worker both complaining about a mother's decision to purchase a used Nintendo Switch console for her daughter and discussing Ahmet's comment on his co-worker's sister, saying she is "cute" and should enter the store so he can speak with her. I found this flagrant discussion both appalling and unprofessional, so I left the store, ensuring I did not look at Ahmet as I exited to mimic his petulant persona. I hope this review helps caution customers who may be considering visiting this particular GameStop store of what they can expect, particularly Ahmet. I understand everyone experiences bad days, but two visits where an employee treats customers as second-class is both demeaning and unacceptable. On both occasions, I left this store feeling like a lowly peon. Ahmet's crassness has consequently led me to vow never to return to this Gamestop location. Let us hope this never happens to future customers in this establishment again. P.S. I play games on PC, and I got a gift card to GameStop for Christmas. After waiting a long time not wanting to stop in here, I decided to go. They refused to let me get a Steam gift card with my store credit. I told them I needed it to pre-order Bioshock 3. He went and showed me that I can pre-order it with GameStop. For the low price of $75. HA. Right, why would I pay that much to get a game that is only $40 on Steam? They over charge and their trade-in prices are so low, you'd be better off selling them on e-bay. read more

Been my go to store but my last visit there idk if it was the district manager or what but def not someone who is usually there but as soon as I walked in the store just got a weird vibe from him then it seemed like I was being drilled with question from the normal can I help you find anything today to what system I have.
