Had an unfortunate experience at this Game Stop tonight. Went with my brother to return/trade-in a game and instead were given the absolute worst customer service. Instead of speaking to customers rationally like a good manager (or employee) should do, the manager, Nicky, spoke to us in the most-condescending way. She tried to compare returning and exchanging a game to "purchasing a car," which is simply absurd and attempted to lecture us on this. I do not believe that in any situation it is okay to be spoken to in the manner that Nicky spoke to us tonight, especially if customers are speaking in a civil manner. The other employees were nice, but I advise customers to just be aware that the manager will not be friendly nor helpful should the time arise that you need to speak to her. read more

Although this was a nicely stocked store, both Tiffany P. And the gentlemen she was opening the store with I found to be quite rude. They were reluctant to answering questions and short when being spoken to. Regardless if it is early or not, and it was almost 10 am, you should be a better representation of how your store handles customer service and relations. read more

Pretty bad service, the people working there are kind of stuck up and arrogant, they talked down to me and kept telling me I was wrong about multiple things. So I just went into the gamestop in the temecula promenade (10-17-15). I went with my son to purchase battlefield 4, they had a display of the pre-owned game. After waiting in line, it turns out that they don't have it on stock, yet they keep it out on display. The sales associate asked if I wanted to buy the new one, I said if you give me a discount. They told me they could order it with free shipping. In my eyes it's false advertisement. If you don't have they game don't post it for display so people stand in line while cashiers blahs about ps4 and xbox one and what they enjoy doing on their off time. Do NOT buy downloadable games from gamestop if you want to play them right away... or that day for that matter... They advertise how fast you can buy then download instantly but oh yea after they review your order for 12 hours... Would never buy from them again... read more

The service is usually alright, but if you're going for pre-orders I recommend you do it elsewhere. They've messed up my pre-orders at least 3 times before and have even argued that I needed to pay for a pre-order when I brought my receipt that clearly showed I'd paid for two in full. Other than that it's good for when you want to try out a game and you live close by. read more

So I was with a friend just browsing through games, and as I look back not a single person seemed to be helping the other people in the store. However that isn't my issue with store. My issue was I went to buy a couple of games and one happened to be Mature. So I didn't have my ID because we just went on a random trip to the mall. I clearly look over 18, however I understand that the government has declared mature video games to be worse than cancer for kids or something. So that's understandable if not a little annoying. However I was just going to have my friend buy it who had their ID with them, however the guy said he wouldn't sell it to her cause she'd just give it to me... I mean really? I am in no way, shape, or form a kid. He then went on to say the policy was like that for alcohol and cigarettes, however I'd just like to point out that it's not illegal for minors to play M rated games like it is for them to drink and smoke, so obviously this guy has some terrible comparison and skills and isn't too bright. All in all, don't go to this gamestop if you want to be treated well by knowledgeable employees cause you'll get the complete opposite. read more

Staff is great. Stacey did an awesome job of being both friendly and helpful. Had an issue with a day one release of an item and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I was in line this morning for the new SNES game and the only women working at 40464 Winchester Rd Temecula, CA 92591, United States. She was very rude by telling us we're wasting our time by waiting, telling us to leave and try again later, and by also complaining to another customer right in front of us about us. Therefore, I sent the person with me to another GameStop near by to see if they're getting a shipment. They were much nicer and we brought it from the other GameStop. read more

Had a terrible and sad experience here. My friend was trading in her PS4 which was in a Target bag. The blonde lady at the store said "Oh we don't support Target here" and my friends husband asked why and she said "They want me to share a bathroom with you". How incredibly vile to say such a thing, she has no right. The only thing she should be talking about is video games, not politics! Won't be visiting again. One star for decent prices on used games. No more stars due to horrible customer service. 'Nikki' checked us out, who talked WAY TOO fast to understand a word she said. She (of course) asked if we had a point/reward card that they offer. I responded with a "no", and explained to her that I wasn't interested because we only shop here maybe once a year, if that. She says, "oh, okay, do you don't like saving money, even though you'll save 10% on evening you're buying today". I then asked what info she needed to sign me up - name, address, email, phone....the usual. I said fine and handed her my drivers incense to get the info, then told her my email. She told me my total, which didn't go down any. I asked, "so where's my discount for signing up?" She then went onto mummble about the next step up rewards card that they offer, which you pay for, but then get discounted in every purchase...I think that's what it is anyhow, since I had to ask her to repeat it at least three times to understand. I said, "oh you said I would get a discount for signing up for your rewards thing, but that's not correct." Nikki replied, "no I signed you up for the free one because you said you didn't want to save money. This one will only earn you points, not a discount." UGH! This is why I normally don't sign up for these kinds of things! Very misleading. Gamestop, PLEASE train this girl properly on how to speak nicely, and slow down with customers! read more

I was at this gamestop lining up for the nes classic on launch day and was waiting for 2.5 hours among the 30 people there already . Several asked the employee that was going inside if they have enough NES for the people lined up and she said "im not allowed to disclose that" note the question. We were not asking how many consoles they have, but was only asking if they have enough for the 30 people already lined up so in case they dont then what is the point of lining up. When gamestop opened they said tehy only have 5 consoles! Wow gamestop! Thats pretty shitty customer service! They like to make their customers wait for nothing! Luckily i was the 5th one and got my hands on a console but i felt bad for the other people that waited for nothing. Gamestop has been doing this practice for almost every console release! ! Wake uo gamestop execs. You could dominate the gaming market if u put a little more effort and consideration for your customers. read more
