She really went out of her way to ensure all my questions were answered and showed me samples. She ensured I was satisfied and all my questions were answered before she moved on to help someone else. They had various wheel sizes, various bearings, the guy even showed me how to put the bearings in the wheels and how to replace the wheels on the skate. Explained in detail what wheels are best for which activity. Which bearings contribute to your needs. And the best part, the 8 wheels were $5 cheaper than Dicks.

Honestly, I am not sure how this place is still around after so many years, but it is still there and I still love dropping in when I am back in town. The shop specializes in monthly subscriptions so you can easily add yourself to a list to get the next drop each month or you can browse for something new. He carries some back issues for popular titles and if you can't find what you are looking for, he will try and order it for you. I stop in for the expertise and recommendations though. When I am looking for something new, the owner can give me a good deal of titles to try. His last recommendation for me was Y The Last Man and I loved it! If you are heading to the coffee shop across the street, stop in, pick up something new or the latest release of your favorites and enjoy with your favorite coffee drink. It's locals and guests to the area that will keep this place alive against the big box stores!
