They don't disinfect there clippers between cuts. Keep your Hep C clippers. Doesn't take much to use that full can of disinfectant. Pure lazy/Unsanitary. Every barber here needs there license taken from them, they all are guilty of this. One dude didn't even use alcohol after the cut or sweep the hair from the chair before I sat. (Right chair closest to window) All of these reviews can rave about this place, but none of them smart enough to realize they got cut by dirty ass clippers. read more

I'm so irritated. I had my son and my man go to this place since it was one of the highest rated and brand new. I've been reluctant because even though the reviews are high, all my son's friends who go there don't look so sharp when they come out. I was praying that since my man was going (andl adult, whom I clearly told 'make sure the barber does everything right, don't let my son out of that chair unless they cleaned him up'). When they got home I was highly disappointed First off, i felt like my man didn't checkout my son's hair before it was finalized and then I look at his and start laughing and thinking, WTF, How could they let either of them leaving liking like today. It was terribly horrible I took a picture to show my man the back of his head so he knew what they let him go out the door looking like. To bad b1g1free don't know how to speak up for himself... if it was me is drive right back and demand the owner or a professional to fix the mistake. Instead, I was left to try to fix both of the disasters myself. My biggest pet peeve about barbers is they don't clean up the back of the hair around the edges of the hair line or have longer prices of hair where it was supposed to be shaved/ lined. This place ain't that cheap either. Worst experience ever, huge disappointment. It was so bad my mother seen my son a few days later and took him somewhere else to fix it. read more

Nope. They were unprofessional and the place was dirty. There is a busted couch against the wall which is whatever, but under it you can see a TON of hair and trash. They don't sanitize their stuff either. My kid's hair looked good though, so I mean they have skill, but the lack of general cleanliness is why I won't go back. I'm not a neat freak this place is just gross. read more

I called and made an appointment with Mitch, and he was super nice over the phone and when I got there I was greeted very nicely and he took my son very quickly. He was very detailed with his hair cut and was very good with my wiggly toddler! As a mother of a little boy, I've been to many barbershops who treat me very poorly, don't get greeted, make me wait for ever. But not GAMETIME! I was searching for a place I felt comfortable getting my hair cut for this first time in 12 years. I went to a barber shop in lathrop and the people were rude so I left. A few days later I found Gametime on yelp and decided to check it out. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the barbers. One of the barbers named Tim was available. I noticed he had long hair in a ponytail like I did. When I told him I wanted to cut my hair after 12 years he told me he knew exactly how I was feeling and that he would hook me up with something nice. That really put me at ease. He did a great job! I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work that I saw while I was there. I would definitely recommend this barbershop to anyone and will continue to go back for haircuts. read more

This is my new spot! Had to find a new barber because my old one wouldn't respect appointment times and whenever I happened to be late it was a problem. Doesn't seem like that's a problem here but aside from that the work that Mitch does is amazing, he pays attention to detail and takes his time to make sure the client leaves happy and fresh AF lol. I've been here twice, but it only took my first visit to pick this as my new spot and I live in Tracy. Mitch gave my 2.5 year old his very first haircut. He was so patient and worked with us to keep my son nice and calm during a new experience for him. He also really made sure to ask me for a clear idea on what I wanted and if I had pictures to show him. This is a true barber shop right here. Actually, the best I've ever been too. I had Tim cut my hair, and he did an outstanding job. He's a very cool guy too, easy to talk too. He spend a good 30-40 minutes cutting my hair. This place is all about quality than quantity. Personally, I care more about quality, and I don't care how long it takes just as long it's done right. I can be quite picky sometimes, but overall Tim did a very good job. Also, I can be a bit criticizing sometimes, but he can work a little bit more in getting rid of some of the excess hair that was on my forehead. Overall, Tim did a fantastic job cutting my hair.
