I really didn't know what to expect being that it was my first time doing a party in this way. A heavy duty pick up truck rolled around the corner with a huge camper looking thing hitched to it, all decked out looking like it's own party on wheels. Kids were so excited to see it and they quickly parked in front of my house, opened up the doors and let the games begin! An extra long comfortable leather bench was on one side to accommodate 24 kids at a time and crazy amounts of screens on the other. Then there were 2 large monitors on the outside panel of the truck set up as well for even more gaming. All the parents who were present didn't know what to do with all the idle time they had as the kids were inside gaming. 3 staffers came with the truck, 2 continuously monitoring the equipment, supervising the kids and making sure it all stayed sanitized and clean. While the other took care of cotton candy making and helping me hand out gift bags with it. They were all so professional, efficient and most of all KIND especially handling a bunch of 7 year old boys and girls! Renting this truck was actually more cost effective than actually going to a bounce house or a laser tag spot or bowling. He answered all of my (some ridiculous) questions, when I had ideas to add on to the experience he jumped in to make it even better, he always got back to me in a timely matter and the price was EXCELLENT. On the day of our party the truck showed up about 15 minutes before start time to set up. They had everything they needed and they were set. The kids were blown away by the truck they thought it was so cool. But even the best gaming truck would be worthless without AMAZING hosts operating it. Shanel and Ernesto were phenomenal. They were fun, engaging knowledgeable and kind. They handled the 20 plus children in the truck seamlessly without having to even ask any parents to step in. When Shanel heard my son does boxing she even engaged in some drills with him so he could show off his skills to his friends. Hands down those two attendants took an already great concept/truck/party and took it over the top. So much so that my neighbor booked and requested them specifically for her upcoming party. The expense and amount that needed to be done was overwhelming and I needed to figure out a way to rein it in. Hiring a DJ for a Bar Mitzvah is a must, but it isn't as simple as that. The company is also responsible for providing the rest of the kids activities and, most importantly, keeping the party entertaining and flowing. Having recently moved to Connecticut and not put on an affair like this in over two decades since my wedding, I had no idea who to go to and how to keep in manageable. Also, living in CT and never having lived on Long Island, I obviously had no awareness of Great Neck Games. Randomly, an acquaintance at my Synagogue mentioned them in passing. It was honestly the greatest thing that happened to me in planning the event. Although, I am not saying it was cheap in any way, they worked with me on price and activities in order to keep the cost manageable. But, honestly, I still had no idea what to expect day of and how it would all actually take shape. The low hanging fruit was all done flawlessly. Everything that we ordered was delivered and the room looked beautiful. But, it was the little things and the people that made this event so much better than a run-of-the-mill Bar Mitzvah (see below for two of many amazing photos). Everyone was so happy and had such a great time and I credit DJ Keith Webb along with (I wish I knew their names) the MC and motivators. Keith was so much more than just a DJ. We had a separate room for the adults and he brought a speaker and playlist so they had music in that room. There was no charge for this as he just wanted to help make the event a success. He helped me negotiate the price on a couple of things we needed last minute to keep us within budget. He had a smile on his face the entire time that could fill the room. I am so grateful to him and wish I had the ability to hire him time and again. And, the MC...don't get me started on how great he was. I feel bad that I still don't know his name, but as you can imagine the day was a whirlwind and there was lots going on. He was simply special. He made every kid and adult feel like it was their day as well. But, he especially made my son feel like he should at a party of this magnitude. The motivators, two beautiful and talented women, were equally responsible for making both kids and adults feel engaged, happy and special. They were perfect. I am going to cut this here as it is crazy long, but I cannot thank Great Neck Games enough for what they did. I didn't want to put on such an expensive affair, but they did something I didn't think was possible - made me happy I did it. And, they truly deserve a large share of the credit.

I wish I could rate this player since some of the players were fun and cool but with the combination of if you get hit once your not getting out of spawn and a ref just not doing his job, I unfortunately can't. Only way I can see coming back is if they add more refs or make the refs strict enough to enforce rules, and if they change a rule or too to get teams a chance of not getting spawn camped

I appreciated how they had a guy who explained to us how to axe throw (we had never been before) and who gave us some pointers. They also have booze and bar food for purchase. The 50 min is also just how long you get to axe throw, you can pause it and eat or do other things. We thought it was a fun date night though and we especially appreciated how nice they were about showing us what to do.
