You must try the fried chicken sandwich! The chicken is perfectly crispy and the slaw brings the tang and balance. You can order it with fries or salad. I tried both and let me tell you the vinaigrette is so delicious you'll want to drizzle it on everything!

    Fried rice

One of the best fried rice that I've ever had, with mouthwatering flavors within Southeast Asian cuisine. Highly recommend it for a simple luncheon or dining-out to stay-at-home dinner for a relaxing evening. Amazing hospitality and service that I feel right at home!

We recently visited for brunch with my niece and her children…read more We had just gone to Starbucks and picked up a Frappuccino and another iced coffee drink for a treat. Unfortunately, the restaurant has a policy that no outside beverages are allowed. We really didn't understand how strict they were about it, since it's not like they offer anything like a Frappuccino or iced coffee as a beverage. So there's no competition there. My niece had a very awkward conversation with the person who greeted us and it was just overall a very unfortunate interaction. The server looked at me and said "We're not going to have an issue, are we?". She was SO rude and really embarrassed my niece in front of her young children. The food was okay, but I really wish we had just left.

Service was nice and welcoming. The colorful decor and variety of seating was appealing. + Raspberry Teas = $3.90 each + Coke = $3.90 + Strawberry Margarita = $9 + Jalapeno Margarita = $9 + #5 Beef Enchiladas Rancheras = $13.75 + #15 Beef Enchilada And Relleno = $13.25 (I did not love the red enchilada sauce at all. It was too sweet, but the relleno was the bomb!) + #1 Shrimp Tacos = $14.25 + #18 Flautas And Guacamole = $13.25 + #13 Ground Beef Taco And Spinach Enchilada = $13.25 + 1 Guacamole Half Order = $7.75 My other complaints were that I wasn't all that crazy about the location tucked sort of behind Walmart and I hoped for spicier salsa. Still, I would go back with family again for another jalapeno margarita (which was loaded with chopped jalapenos) and maybe try their albondigas. That's exactly why Shelly's Bagels has become my favorite breakfast spot. My go-to order is the Asiago bagel with scallion cream cheese, and I honestly crave it. It's fresh, delicious, and consistently excellent. Just as important is the amazing customer service. Missy has a gift for making customers feel appreciated. Her warm smile and positive attitude brighten my mornings, and I know I'm not the only customer who feels that way. In today's world, businesses sometimes forget how important kindness and hospitality are. Shelly's Bagels gets it right. Great bagels, great people, and a place that always leaves me in a better mood than when I arrived. Highly recommended.

I drove here from Vegas for a mini adventure and some NY bagels because this NYer needed some…read moreauthentic bagels in her life. I had some high hopes...but at 11am on a Sunday...the selection is fairly dismal. They said they had a big church crowd and they still had two more hours to go. They close at 1pm in the summer. I understand that Pahrump is not huge and this is a small business so probably when product runs out it runs out. But there were maybe 19 bagels left...I took three. I really wanted to try the cheddar bagel. I am on the hunt for the perfect cheddar bagel. I used to know where to find them, but then they switched the recipe. I'm looking for a cheddar bagel that actually has cheddar inside it not just on top of it that gets burnt when you toast it. I had one with egg and Swiss on it and then I had another one with butter on it, and there was a lot of butter on it. They were not shy with the butter. These bagels were good. Drive an hour to get them good? No. Good if you live in the same area code...yes., I had a blueberry bagel with honey almond cream cheese to go, and I had it later that day and it still tasted really fresh. The honey almond cream cheese was really good. Had a nice flavor, but the blueberry bagel to me tasted just sweet, but I really wouldn't have been able to tell it was blueberry if there weren't a few blue specks in it. They seem to have a really good menu, but they just don't have the stock and like I said part of that is a me issue because I did go later in the day and this is a small business so I do understand that you don't want to waste product, but... don't say you're going to be open until a certain time and have a really slim selection. I wanted an apple fritter they don't have them but if you go on Friday or Saturday, they'll probably have them, but they don't do them on Sundays. Why have it on the menu if you're not gonna do it every day? And then there's a secret menu that's not so secret which is kind of funny to me written on the dry erase board. It should be the not so secret menu. It's not a huge place, but it has some comfortable looking tables there's games there's a little area with some tumblers made by a local artist , the people who were working were extremely friendly. In all honesty I would've given this place 3.5 stars, but I rounded up to a 4 because I don't think they deserve only a three. The bagels seem fairly priced. Right around $5 for a bagel with cream cheese. For three bagels and a drink plus tip it was about $25.00.
