Something changed about Gangnam... perhaps management? It used to be a favorable option for KBBQ, especially for being in South OKC/Moore, but quality has gone down significantly. Staff was nice, but it couldn't aid in the lack of flavor the food had. AYCE was $28, but that didn't include galbi (short ribs) nor seafood. The only to access those items were to order from their a la carte menu. What's the point then? I'd rather pay the previous premium if it meant I would have access to these items. Our experience was only made worse when the meat was grey and tasted sour. If the business wants to survive, I recommend they reconsider where their priorities lie and cater more to their guests' preferences.

What a great place! Service was outstanding and the whole concept is very interesting. The food was great but then again I cooked it. Lol Very cool experience and great for date night or gathering with friends. If I have to give one pointer - get your liquor license as soon as you can! The only thing that would have made the evening better would have been an adult beverage. Definitely will be back!

All you can eat Korean BBQ in Moore. The place is the second place besides Maples that offers the same dining experience. It's clean and has a good ventilation system to prevent too much smoke. The ventilation system is even better than Maples. I feel like the meat is very good. However, they give me little at a time even their picked products and salad. They give you the portion size of one. In addition, the vegetables plate has yam which takes way too long to grill. Perhaps substituting it for mushrooms would be a better choice. Service is great. No complaints

Oh my goodness, this place is amazing. My friend Rachel has been telling me nonstop about this place, and how she will gladly take a day trip at any time to come here. Well, I can now say that I understand how Rachel feels. I have been wanting to try Korean BBQ, but it wasn't high on my bucket list. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated immediately. They did inform us that since it was the weekend, they were only offering the dinner portion of AYCE- which was fine with us but wanted to include that for others to be aware of that! Our server was very kind and explained how to order, gave suggestions, and informed us that they do not offer to-go boxes, and there would be a $7 charge per person added to the bill for any unconsumed food. This is really helpful and encouraged us to be mindful of how much we were ordering and eating. The price was very reasonable for the quality and amount of meat you get. At $28, you aren't paying much more than you would at a buffet. We ordered the ribeye, beef bulgogi, and the wine pork belly. Accompaniments included rice, chili paste, a hot sauce, and some seasame oil, a salad with ginger dressing (my FAV), kimchi, some sort of macaroni salad, and a spicy jalapeño and onion mix with oil. The ribeye had no seasoning or sauce, and was very gristly. I tried to dress it up with oil and some of the ginger dressing but it just didn't do anything for me. The wine pork belly was so tasty! It had a lot of flavor as is, and the wine really helped soak and seal even more of the deliciousness. The beef bulgogi was my favorite of all. It is very thin, but had the most flavor out of all of them. It was absolutely delicious (my mouth is watering just thinking about it!) The kimchi is some of the best I have ever tasted, it was phenomenal by itself and with the rice. I really enjoyed the jalapeño onion oil, it added a small kick without being overpowering, and had a delicious flavor that I can't even describe. The ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable and relaxing, and the restrooms were very clean and neat. Well stocked, touch-free soap and paper towel dispensers, and there were individual toilet rooms instead of stalls. I really enjoyed the whole experience. I felt like I was able to actually sit for a while and savor the food, instead of just ordering as much as possible and eating as much as I could. I will definitely be back!

Fun dining experience with friends. The food was great, but the service was a little slow at times. Would come back again

Ask the Community - Gangnam Korean BBQ

    Do they take reservations?

Only for big parties for like 10 or more. Otherwise they have plenty of tables.

What are the hours? It says they have a lunch menu, but the hours say 3-10pm?

I think they recently changed the hours because they needed more time to pack. So for now only evening times I believe

Hands down best kimchi soup I've ever had!…read more We drove up from Lawton for a grocery run and wanted a real meal before making the hour-long trek back home. So glad we skipped the fast-food regret and gave Jjan Pocha a chance instead! The vibe inside is great--K-Pop playing in the background, fun wall graphics and decor (complete with the giant soju frogs), and a super welcoming staff. We were seated immediately, and they brought out cold water right away. Here is the breakdown of what we tried: Kimchi Soup: The absolute star of the show. I haven't been to Korea, but I order kimchi jigae at almost every Korean restaurant I visit, and this is hands down the best I've ever had. Unlike many places that only serve massive family-style portions, this came as a perfect individual size in a piping-hot stone bowl. I was comfortably full halfway through, but I couldn't stop until the bowl was empty. Don Katsu: We've had pork katsu plenty of times, but never served like this with a blanket of super creamy, rich melted cheese on top. Highly recommend. Fried Dumplings: My two-year-old is in a strict "if it's not a lollipop, I hate it" phase, so even though we ordered them for her she refused to touch them, but my husband happily scarfed them down in minutes. I thought they were a solid, classic dumpling. Kimchi Pancake: This was good and had a nice crisp edge to it, though it probably wouldn't be a must-repeat order for me next time compared to the entrees. Overall, the service was fast and incredibly friendly. If you're looking for comforting, authentic flavors and a fun atmosphere in the Moore area, do not miss this spot. We will definitely be back!

Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make some nice recommendations. The Japchae for 2 absolutely serves 2 and is an excellent appetizer. We ordered the Kimchi soup (which has pork IN it, not just on top), Udon Jjamppong, bulgolgi, and grilled spicy pork. The kimchi soup was amazing. I'd prefer a more sour kimchi flavor, but this was still an amazing dish! The soup stayed hot the entire time. It was also served with rice. The Udon was boiling when it came out (as it should be! We love a hot meal), the seafood was cooked perfectly, the broth had a delicious rich flavor, and we subbed udon or ramen noodles. The noodles didn't add much in my opinion, but I can see this being a popular choice! We also requested extra spicy and the chef surely delivered. I usually love bulgolgi. I don't entirely love the seasoning on this one OR the bed of glass noodles, but that's just my opinion. Also served with rice! The grilled spicy pork (served with rice lol) had good flavor and a nice crisp. We were honestly so blown away with how good the soups were that the meats fell to the background. The pork was still spicy and flavorful! Definitely recommend. My only note to make this a full 5 stars would be the addition of banchan. There is a little bit of a wait between ordering and getting your entrees, so some Korean side dishes would've been nice to snack on. They did serve pretzels, but I just thought it was out of place. We really enjoyed our experience and even ended the night with some Melona! We will be returning.

I had the steak and shrimp hibachi with a Lightning Brett sushi roll. The hibachi is always amazing. The sushi roll was also amazing. I couldn't leave without getting one of their deserts from their desert counter. I got the lemon curd cake this time. Yummy! I have had several and all of the deserts are excellent. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the extremely nice people that run GoGo. Even with me not getting there as often as I like they always remember me. I wish I lived closer. Overall grade A++. One of my all time favorite restaurants in the entire Oklahoma City region. The chicken was hot, fresh, and flavorful -- clearly made to order and definitely the star of the meal. You could tell it was cooked with care, and it delivered on that Southern-style crunch I was hoping for. Now let's talk sides... the fries were honestly underwhelming. They weren't terrible, just plain and a little soft. I found myself wishing they had gone with crinkle fries or something with an extra crispy coating to better complement that bold chicken flavor. BUT -- the fried okra came through and saved the day! Crispy, well-seasoned, and just the kind of side you want with a chicken meal. The real MVP of this visit? The Garlic Parmesan sauce. OMG. I could literally lather that on everything -- it was that good! It even gave the fries some purpose, turning them into a decent vehicle just to scoop up that sauce. Drinks were your typical soda fountain options -- nothing fancy, but they did the job. Final verdict: I'd come back for the chicken and fried okra without hesitation -- but I'll definitely be subbing out the fries next time. Solid spot overall. 3/5-- Worth the stop for the chicken and sauces alone! The place is up to date and had a fast food but chill vibe from what I could tell but most people in the drive thru.

I will say they did good with getting the order correct. My sandwich did indeed not have any pickles. The chicken though was very dry and overcooked.
