The ambiance is family kids friendly! Service is great,you have to press a button to get someone to come and service you, although occasionally someone will come and ask how everything is and if we need something. We enjoy the food! My kids love the bulgogi beef. Super favorable and highly recommend. You do have a choice whether to cook your food (which is fun for us) or receive your plates cooked already. Our very food venturous seven-year-old decided that he wanted Korean BBQ and hot pot for his birthday this year and after looking in the surrounding areas, this is the spot we found! So one random Monday evening we all jumped in the car and headed down here for him an exciting dinner. The place is located in a strip mall in Kennewick just passed the main attractions. It's not overly large, but they had seating for probably 50 and four or five tables that allowed for Korean BBQ. For the barbecue they have a combination options or you can order meats individually. We opted for some Bulgogi beef and some Gulbe. Both were delicious, but the Bulgogi edged out the Galbi. We also grabbed some hot pot. We're used to the Chinese style where it's affectively making soup in front of you and you add your own vegetables and meats. Here they bring you a premade soup that it's just heated at the table. It was good, but we definitely prefer the Chinese style. We also got some Korean style noodles that we have not tried. The jajungmyun Was a really good noodle dish with a thick bean paste on top. It was a favorite amongst the kids! The drink options included Sake, Soju (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soju) and plenty of beer/wine options. Prices were fair and the service was good. What she ordered, we called the store and was told that they were sorry, but that was it not at all satisfied will not be ordering from them. My first time eating at Gangnam, it was my twin grandkids 14th birthday and they picked Gangnam for their birthday dinner. None of the food was bad, it was pretty good overall. Where the food was lacking was the pork belly, let's be honest, it was bacon not pork belly. Pork belly is a thick cut of the pork's belly, hence the name pork belly. As a Californian who frequents Koreatown a lot for food, this is surprisingly refreshing in a small town. We will ordered a plethora of food options to really get the feel of the restaurant. We were completely surprised and caught off guard for how authentic the meal was. The cold soup was absolutely refreshing. This is a dish not often ordered by non Koreans so it was a nice dish to have in Tri-Cities. Everything else was pretty good. You know, I've been a customer here for many years now and it's time for an update. I understand during COVID prices go up and I get that but when the quality and quantity both go down while the prices go up is hardly justifiable. The spicy pork belly was beyond the nice layers of fat blended with the pork, it was extremely fatty. The tonkatsu was just plain over-fried and about one minute from being burnt but they still served it to us with the smallest amount of curry over it which by the way did not taste anywhere as good as it used to be. The number of banchan is fewer and of smaller amount. I don't mind the smaller amount since we can ask for refills. Lastly, the service was abysmal this last time. When one staff tells you to take a seat and everyone else forgets you're sitting there is not a good sign of an enjoyable meal. Then they didn't give us the bill and I went up to pay. The staff rang my card and gave me my credit card receipt but no itemized bill/check. I asked for it and she looked at me like I was asking for my money back or something. She looked confused and I repeated myself. The manager/owner had to intervene just so I could get my check. Bizarre. Since there aren't many Korean restaurants in TC, I know I'll go back like a crack addict. I just hope the owners read these reviews and make an effort to improve both food and service. read more

Gangnam Style BBQ is a great Korean spot in Kennewick. I've been here twice now and each time I've enjoyed my meals. There are 2 separate parts of the restaurant: sit down and bbq (where you grill your meal). Since I'm usually dining solo, I opt for the sit down area. On my first trip I had the grilled mackerel. It comes with rice and assorted ban chan. My second outing I had the traditional style kalbi short rib (thick English cut vs the common flanked cut), and again it included rice and ban chan. Both were great dishes and I would happily order those again. I also ordered the steamed mandoo (similar to a dumpling). Service is quick and it's easy to flag down someone or just press the button by your table if you need anyone. I'd definitely dine here again if I'm in the area. read more

Galbi tang here is just a-ok. It doesn't even come with noodles. And taste-wise it was practically a sulnong tang (oxtail soup) because it was super bland. Never again. Our waitress gave us the worst service today. We felt ignored and that we were just a bother to her. Water tasted soapy and smelled of perfume. The table next to us were complaining of the water as well. To be clear, I had a bad experience there last time as well but I wanted to give this place a second chance. There is a bell at the table in case they don't come to the table. 40 minutes later and 5 times ringing the bell at our table no one still arrived with a drink order. During that 40 minutes we would stop a waitress and ask to order and she told us your waiter will be with you. No one ever came!
