The place is always loud but you know that coming in, but still very easy to hold a conversation. The staff were great. The waiter was very friendly and attentive to us. It perplexes me why this place doesn't get good ratings. Yes it's loud. Yes, the staff gets busy but every time I've been here the steaks are prepared perfectly and I get excellent drinks, food, salads, sides, service... The manager Doug even came out to see how everybody was doing and we were waited on by Ciena and CC. Both of them never stopped running the bar. When we are in Kennewick, we look forward to this place. It's run better than any of the other locations (Yakima is awful) anyhow... we love it here. Each time we visit our relatives in Kennewick, our tradition is to dine at Texas Roadhouse. Each visit has been phenomenal, which always brings us back, but this time I need to do a shout out to two of your finest. Bethany at the front desk was very helpful in getting us seated , as one of our party had some movement challenges and she made us all comfortable. Then Meyer was an incredibly patient, efficient, and friendly server who took great care of our four top. These two rose above the din and the demands of the restaurant and made our visit special! Our server Sarah was absolutely the best! She was so kind and attentive to our every need even before we needed it. I cannot think of a better server that we have ever had! I am not just saying this to say it... she was the BEST! The food was outstanding. Had the hand cut 16 oz sirloins with mushrooms. The wife did 11 oz sirloin and the son also did a 16 oz sirloin. Appetizer: Cactus Bloom was so good it didn't even need the sauce. And the never ending bread and honey butter cinnamon butter? That bread and butter is darn good it could create world peace! I ordered to-go through their app and it said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I ordered the full rack, went and parked at the restaurant and waited. I went in after 20 minutes and told them that I was there to pick up the order. I was standing in the area where you pick up to go orders the whole time. The hostess informed them in the back that I was there and waiting and I waited another five minutes then I received a text stating my order was ready. The gal who was handling the to go orders, looked over at the shelf where I've been standing, and there was my order. It had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes. The baked potato was still hot, so I didn't say anything, but I should have checked my order before I left. We've ordered the full slab of ribs at other Texas roadhouse establishments and they've always given amazing portions that barely fit in the to go box with delicious tender ribs. These were not that. They were super fatty had maybe eight ribs total? I was annoyed by the fact that my order had been sitting there for so long and then I get ribs that not only did we not get very many, (8 is a full slab??) but a third was a slab of fat that was inedible. Not a marbling of fat that gives ribs that great flavor but the cold, congealed, thick fat of layers that were not cut out correctly. We shouldn't have to travel out of state to get good meals from a Texas roadhouse, but this is our second time at the store in Kennewick and both times have been awful food. read more

We had been in town for an afternoon of shopping ($pending) and decided to stop by for supper. Wise choice! Middle of the week, supper rush was almost over, used the app on the hone to get on the waiting list... Our table was waiting when we arrived in less than 10 minutes. We stopped to admire the choices in the meat case inside the front door before heading to the table. I spotted a boneless ribeye with a huge cap that just screamed "PICK ME!!!" and had them tag it for my order. She had the medallions, came out perfect medium rare and tasty. My ribeye... I asked for it "Pittsburgh style" and that, too, came out a perfect, juicy, delicious medium rare. The staff were all wonderful and friendly... there's a deliberate "one-team, one-fight" attitude here and it shows by the constant support and attentiveness by everyone. Our waitress noticed my military I.D. card when I pulled out my payment card and said "BRB, hang tight..." -- I thought "OK, can do" ... yep, she applied a discount and thanked me for my service. Now how do you not want to go back to a place that serves great food at a fair price, with excellent service, and staff that goes out of their way to look out for you, too? First time here in at least 3 years. No noticeable changes, even the same crappy line dancing the servers appear to hate doing to the same song over and over. Ate something I hadn't had before, chicken fried chicken, and wouldn't again. Not horrible but tasted odd. Why is everything served in separate dishes? Their seating system is a bit odd....the send you a text message to gather your party and go to the "on deck area" (which is a chalk drawn area in the lobby) but there were people standing in the space???? And when we said something to the host, they just said oh just stand over here and we'll be right with you. Once we got to a table it obviously had not been cleaned, now we're awkwardly standing in the aisle while they scrambled to finish cleaning the table. Okay, finally sitting down....thankfully things got better. Our server was pleasant, courteous, and gave ua recommendations about the drinks and food( and not the most expensive items like happens at some places!) I'm surprised by some of the reviews for this restaurant. It's not meant to be some upscale fancy 5 star steak, but they do offer quality cuts of meat, great service and solid drinks. We dined in for dinner. We had excellent service while there. We were pleasantly surprised by the bag of peanuts for a treat before dinner. The dinner rolls are everything. Good Service - not so good on the food. Steaks we had were both very salty and one (the sirloin) was severely overcooked the New York under cooked and much too rare. They put our steaks on wrong plates (New York strip on the sirloin plate etc.) but we figured that out quickly and swapped steaks. LOL The bread rolls were pasty and under baked on inside. Green bean side is pretty much inedible. Definitely not recommended it had an odd taste and was severely overcooked and fell apart when touched with a fork to the point of being hard to pick up. Came here for a midweek date night and it was pretty busy even right when they opened. We got our seats without too long of a wait. The server was really nice and attentive. For food we ordered the sirloin+grilled shrimp and sirloin+ribs. The best part of the meal was the shrimp. The sirloin was alright, but too dry. Probably one of my new favorite chain restaurants! I tried coming a week before around dinner time but the wait was 2 hours, so I unfortunately couldn't. This time, we came at around 3pm and only had to wait 15 minutes or so. We got seated, and they brought out their famous bread rolls with cinnamon butter. They're SO good! Completely live up to the hype. I seriously couldn't have enough of them. We got the fried pickles for an appetizer which was so crispy and had good flavor. For entrees, I got the sirlion with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and my friend got the ribs and salad. Everything was seasoned well and also cooked nicely. The vegetables seem frozen though, but honestly not too big of a deal. Service took a while, but the restaurant is huge so I understand. Went to dinner this evening and something has changed. The grilled chicken tasted like styrofoam and it was oddly very white. I sent it back to be cooked some more and after they brought it back it still tasted off. My boyfriend's steak was stringy. Plus the rolls are smaller. Have you switched to fake meat? You used to be my favorite spot, but something has changed there. I have had a terrible stomach ache since coming home. Something has definitely changed there :( read more

We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. They put 14 people in a corner that was only good for 10 people in my opinion. We waited about 30 minutes for our food and I thought the waiter did a poor job of serving. He was putting plates in front of us without verifying who ordered what. The pulled pork sandwich was ok but the middle had no barbecue sauce. I had a serious problem 4 years ago and thought I would never go back but other people in my group wanted to go there. Me and my boyfriend had an AMAZING time at Texas Roadhouse like always. We celebrate a lot of things there. They never fail to provide amazing food and service. Tonight, we had an awesome server, named Edgar! Super sweet and friendly, made sure we had everything we needed. refilled things we were low on and checked on us frequently especially with it being busy on a Friday night a few days before Christmas. He was wonderful! The Ft. Worth Ribeye was very flavorful and juicy, and my boyfriends Salmon was amazing. As always, the loaded baked potato is awesome, and the Caesar salad has the perfect amount of dressing on it. We tried a new appetizer, the cheesy fries, they were super delicious with the ranch! When the meal Was over the server asked to see the coupon and the manager came and wouldnT honor it. Seriously? You don't try to make your customers happy?
