I would leave more than a 1 star review for Diesels Direct, however, General Manager Rick Shuba…read morethrew that straight out the window per our interaction with him today. My husband had been looking at a truck there for about two weeks. This past Saturday, we decided to go in to test drive and talk pricing with Sales Employee, Jim Zabielski. Jim was great, allowing us to take a lengthy test drive, and sat down with us afterwards to run numbers, talk about our trade in, etc. We agreed to put a payment/hold on the truck that day, bring in our trade on Sunday, and complete the paperwork and final down payment on Monday. On Monday evening, we were offered $500 less for our trade in (not a problem) and sat with Finance Manager, Dawn Bell, for nearly an hour to sign paperwork, and pay. We left that night with all paperwork signed, warranty purchased, pricing agreed upon, etc. On Tuesday morning, my husband receives an email from Jim asking him to call regarding the paperwork. My husband calls Jim to be told that Diesels Direct would be "losing money on the sale", and wanted us to sign a NEW contract as someone had made a mistake due to the vehicle being listed at a higher price on their website. What repituable dealership does this?! Mistakes surely happen, however, this is just poor business practice. My husband and I decided to conference call General Manger Rick Shuba to politely advise that we wouldn't be signing a new contract, and were met with horrible customer service in return. Rick went on to yell, argue, talk over, and belittle us. He went ask far as to tell us that we "weren't the boss", "he wouldn't be bullied" and that "we weren't listening". Rick also told us that he had basically turned the situation over to some main office in Berea (which... I truly don't even think exists) and flat out REFUSED to provide us with contact information or numbers to anyone above him. Rick proceeded to HANG UP ON US. He was telling us that HE wasn't going to be bullied?! Really? What were they doing to us? Leaving us with money and a trade in tied up? Around ten minutes later, I received a call from another Finance Manager telling us that they'd be "honoring the deal". I advised that I was almost ready to walk away from the entire thing due to the way we were being treated, and it seems that's exactly what they were hoping for. We picked up the truck this evening. Jim apologized on Rick's behalf, telling us that he was "frustrated" however, it's just not acceptable. How completely unprofessional for someone in a management position to allow themselves to speak to a customer this way. I would have thought that Rick may approach us this evening with some type of apology himself, however, he was no where to be found, and I can't say I'm surprised. In no way, shape, or form should Rick be in a management position based on his behavior today. Buyers - educate yourselves and read the reviews. Read the responses from "management". His lack of professionalism is REAL, and that's ultimately who's behind the scenes here at Diesel Direct.

From setting up a day to come see the car that I was interested in, to test driving it, to inspecting and purchasing it, Stewart was right there to answer my questions and give me all the information I needed to make a great purchase. I also found the entire staff at the Diesels Direct/Fiat-Alfa Romeo studio to be fantastic - very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Diesels Direct and especially Stewart. Hands down, he offered the best customer service that I have ever received when buying a car.

The entire process lasted maybe 2 hours - this included time spent searching their lot as well as the Mitsubishi lot next door. Our salesman, Steve, was friendly, courteous and helpful. To be fair, I'm surprised by all of the negative reviews although many seemed to be service center related. The only gripe I have is that we waited about a 1/2 hour while they "detailed" the car but once we received it, the inside was still dirty, there was a specific piece of hair still on the dash and the car smelled like smoke. I'm assuming that maybe only the outside was washed, so we'll have to detail the car ourselves. Nevertheless, it's no big deal as long as the car continues to run well.

Honda of Middleburg Heights - Service Department…read more I've been a loyal Honda owner for 25 years -- seven vehicles total -- and my experiences with Honda dealerships have always been positive, friendly, and professional. I'm a friendly, non‑confrontational person, and I've never had an issue with Honda until this visit. When I arrived, I was greeted by Korbin, who was professional and helpful. He asked me to stand at a specific counter, and I followed his instructions exactly. While I was standing there, service advisor Dave Richmond approached. Before he even spoke to me, he was already talking in a negative, irritated tone. When he finally addressed me, he spoke to me in a harsh, rude, and unnecessarily confrontational way -- despite the fact that I hadn't said a single word and was simply standing where I had been told to stand. When I calmly explained that I was only following instructions, he didn't apologize or adjust his tone. Instead, he became even more dismissive and verbally sharp. I felt blindsided and genuinely attacked for no reason. I left that interaction extremely upset -- to the point I had to keep myself from crying -- yet I still remained professional and friendly with the rest of the staff. Thankfully, every employee after Dave treated me with respect and professionalism. Johnson Liang was kind and apologetic. Brianna Shorter listened carefully, helped me with what I needed, and apologized for my experience. Both of them were wonderful, and they represented Honda the way I've always known it. My review is not about the dealership as a whole -- it's specifically about the way Dave Richmond spoke to me. No customer, especially one who has been loyal to Honda for decades, should ever be treated with hostility when they've done absolutely nothing wrong. I truly hope management addresses this, because the rest of the staff deserves better than to have their professionalism overshadowed by one person's behavior.

Upon calling the dealer to confirm that it was still available, I was told that the truecar price was wrong and that I was somehow "building the wrong vehicle" and trying to "scam the system" If you've ever used truecar, you know that you literally click on the car you are interested in, and it spits out a price. That's it. The whole point of using truecar is that you get a price and don't have to deal with haggling, games and just general BS that most dealers try to put you through. After a 20 minute back and forth with the "general manager" I was basically told that if I wanted the vehicle, it would be $2,500 more than the true car price. If you're going to use truecar, Avoid this dealer as they play games. In fact, even if you're not using truecar, Avoid this dealer as they will likely still play games. Good luck!

The service department was fast and efficient and was able to detect the problem with little wait time. I liked that the service department had big windows that you could look out and see your car being worked on. They didn't have the part in stock but was able to get it in the next day. They gave me a loaner to drive and since I had to work the next day they offered to bring my car to me which was a huge blessing since I live 53 miles away. I am under warranty so there was no cost to me.

Instead of listening or showing concern, the service representative dismissed her entirely. He told her to "calm down" and then asked, "Are you a mechanic? Because I doubt it's the transmission." This response was condescending, inappropriate, and completely unacceptable--especially when someone is reporting a serious safety-related issue with their vehicle. This was only part of how poorly my daughter was treated during the call. The overall tone was degrading and dismissive, and it strongly reflected a sexist assumption that a woman could not possibly understand what was happening with her own car. That kind of attitude has no place in customer service, especially in the automotive industry. This interaction was embarrassing for Alfa Romeo as a brand and has completely turned me off from ever doing business with this dealership--or considering another Alfa Romeo vehicle in the future. Customers should never be belittled, spoken down to, or made to feel ignorant for advocating for their own safety. This experience was unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

If I could give it less than a one star rating I would. The previous management has left and they have not filled the shoes properly. I originally purchased my Mitsubishi lancer in 2014 and I've had it worked on there for service ever since. Today they lost my key to my vehicle when it was there for one full day. Not only did they lose it, it's completely gone. They don't know if it was stolen, so I had to have a family member go get my personal spare so they could program both keys so that I wouldn't only be down to one key. Luckily they still have the quality technicians at hand to take care and program the keys so that nobody could break into my vehicle with the original key that they lost. The same can't be said for their service staff. Throughout the day while I was waiting for my vehicle while I'm working I only received one phone call from them. Their service advisor couldn't even tell me an estimate for my repairs let alone give me an estimate for additional things that I wanted done besides what the labor cost be would for an hour of work. I then proceeded to wait 10 minutes on the phone while he tried to plug in the information needed for the rest of my vehicles repairs. By that time I had to return to work and couldn't speak with him any further. The new management was more worried about leaving for the day and already had his coat on and decided to not even address the issue at all with the missing key. Instead he left cause he doesn't want to deal with the problem. The previous manager Jakub wouldn't have let this happen, let alone have such poor handling of service from there advisors. Such a shame to have a great dealership go to waste. For the good people that are still there working, trying to save the sinking ship, I'm sorry that the place is turning into a nightmare. You guys shouldn't be wasting your time working there any longer!!!
