Very disappointed in my experience with Garage Champs. I decided to work with them because I needed a rush job for a company event and they seemed to be the most professional local print shop based on reviews and their website. Although they were not the cheapest, they seemed to have a very professional operation. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I needed 30 shirts within a week, for a design/style was approved by my company's management team and marketing department, so it was set. So was my budget. I contacted them on a Friday and needed the shirts the following Friday, but I didn't get a quote until the end of day but it was okay because at that point they assured me they had the shirt style we needed. After getting on the phone with them, I learned that the shirts were slightly over the budget which was due to a rush fee. We talked through some solutions, but the guy I spoke to botched the quantity numbers and kept asking that we connect on Monday for a more accurate quote. I hesitated but agreed to reconnect on Monday and I was reassured that we'd be able to get the shirts on time. After spending some time on their website i realized there was a price discrepancy with the quote I received and the amount quoted online, even after adjusting the shirt quantity, cost, taxes, and the advertised 15-30% rush charge, there was still a discrepancy in the cost. When we final reconnected (LATE) on Monday they would not even acknowledge my questions and insisted their website is wrong on pricing and availability. The rush charge in particular was much more than 30% despite placing it 5 days in advance. Their website stipulates 15% for a week-rush and 30% for 3 days-rush. They were not willing to accept the accountability for their website being wrong and would not adjust the rush fee or shirt price accordingly instead they argued that I needed to change the style or logo or quantity even more to get the price quoted on their website. I didn't have the approval to do any of that from my company. I was very frustrated and got on the phone urging them to find a solution. I had a very short turn around, and even though I attempted to find the shirts somewhere else, every place I called either did not have the shirt style or could not commit to the deadline. So I was stuck working with Garage Champs. They returned with a quote (90 cents under budget) that required less quantity. So, we approved the order, the shirt mock-up and style, the quote and paid the invoice, all within an hour to ensure we got what we wanted/needed. Only AFTER the invoice was paid I was notified by Garage Champs that the shirt style we requested would not be available until after the due date, and I was forced to go back to my team to tell them we had to choose a different style or cancel the order. They were not happy and we had no choice because we absolutely needed the shirts. We picked a cheaper option that was a completely different style. (We're supposed to get reimbursed for the price difference, but we'll see about that.) We received the shirts on time but I am not satisfied with the purchase. The quality of the shirt is poor, and they run small which is something I specifically asked about. Garage Champs staff is unprofessional or simply inept. They are unresponsive, slow to act and poor at communicating. They did not accept accountability for being wrong and were much more expensive than local competitors. They also produced a below average product. You would be better off ordering from VistaPrint. We won't be doing business here again. Their loss given my company's commitment to supporting local businesses and our constant need for high volume custom merchandise. read more

She constantly keeps me in the loop and relays information from the design/production team. As with any craft, screen printing is prone to error.
