On the scheduled day his crew came in, built the frame and the trim around the door, installed the door, tuned up everything, took all the debris and left. Nice, polite and proficient folks. Now, we had a relatively new opener with sensors which we retained from the old installation. Diamond installers put the sensors back but mounted them relatively low because of the position of the brackets on the new door. When the fall came in we discovered that fallen leaves now confuse the sensors. It was almost four months after the job was done, but we called Gary and two days later there came two technicians, mounted the sensors on the walls instead of on the railing and voila! - everything works again. Since the opener was not originally part of the job we offered to cover the visit but Gary insisted that this is part of the service. Kudos!! I don't understand why people buy their garage doors from a big store when a proficient, affordable dependable and hassle free alternative is out there.

This was not the case with Maietta & Sons so I was a little concerned a quote was provided site unseen. 50% down to schedule and 50% at completion. However the quote was better than the other quotes in terms of price and Dennis committed to address my all concerns so made the down payment. Dennis is great to work with. He kept me updated on his arrival time based on the window he provided and accommodated my schedule. Straight to the point and gives an honest opinion based on his several years of experience. His work is clean and concise. The garage door insulation was quick and clean. Dennis addressed all of my concerns, the door had a gap when it was closed, the wires are routed to the opener (from the control panel and from the electronic eyes) where all over the place taped together for additional length, the existing door opener was mounted crooked and lower than it should have been. Dennis made the necessary changes and additions to address all of my concerns and provided some additional recommendations for me to consider without any pressure.
