I texted the main number and got an immediate call back from Mo over at Luminex who apologized and ask me to come to the Luminex shop and they would get me taken care of. The shops are within a mile of each other so no trouble at all. I purchased a Groupon for the Nano Ceramic on the front two windows. I saw a previous review that stated Groupons can only be used during the week. I did not have this experience. There were no issues using it at all. Note: Groupons are good for I believe 35% tinting. You can upgrade this for$50. Mo was great in showing me all options and even let me look through the back windows of his car so I could see the amount of light blockage. It was overcast at the time so it was super helpful because it made me realize, what I wanted to do for my back windows would be much too dark for my vision issues and night time driving. He wasn't pushy or tried to upsell aggressively as some places normally would. In the end, I decided to only do my front windows and windshield to start with. I wanted all windows to be uniform so did 20% on the front windows to match the back, 70% on the windshield and added a 5% strip in the top 6 inches of the windshield. Great news is that there's a 3 year warranty! So I was able to purchase worry free! The windshield was $175 and the added strip was $50. The prices are great in comparison to what I've paid for tinting on other SUVs. From the outside it looks excellent. From the inside you definitely feel the temperature and light difference. Right now it still needs to cure so there are some blurry spots but I was assured with leaving it in the sun for as long as I can this would clear up. Tips I was given was to not roll the windows down, don't use the defroster, and only use the foot level AC for a few days. It's also really nice they placed a DO NOT ROLL DOWN sticker across the window buttons as a reminder. If the tinting doesn't clear up, I'll comeback and amend the review but I have all faith that they will be great! Thanks, Mo! (Hope this is spelled correctly lol) I will definitely be back I'm sure for more work at your shop! Oh I also have to mention that I booked my original appointment with Ali who was great at explaining all options and didn't rush me to get off the phone.

Luckily for me, Exclusive Mobile Tire Service came up in my search and I gave them a call. While on the phone I sent a picture of my tire. They were able to distinguish what size tire I needed. They lmk the brand I had wasn't available until Tuesday and asked if I was okay with using another brand. I was able to make it safely to my destination. Sent my location and it literally took them less than 10 minutes to remove and replace my tire. They went above and beyond letting me know my other rear tire was in jeopardy of popping and they were able to squeeze me back in, returning within an hour to change out my other tire. It was a very smooth and painless process. I HIGHLY recommend this business.

Well, they bent over backwards to help me aslong I had my vehicle in shop before 8am. I arrived at 7:45 am, Scott was opening up shop. I gave him the key & hoofed off to Corner Coffee. Scott shows up at Corner Coffee at about 12:30 pm to pick me up after repairs were done. He tells me that the transmission pump replacement took much less time than anticipated. So he gives me a generous labor credit. I was floored. AAA Auto Care wanted $7K to replace the transmission when all I needed was a pump replacement - a $2K cost. The honesty, integrity and communication was flawless. As a small business owner, I value these principles - and they nailed it. So don't even think twice before having Mr Transmission do your car repair for transmissions, brake work, fluid changes (oil, transmission, brakes, coolant), etc. If they don't do it, you can expect an honest answer. Can't say enough good things about these guys.

If I could rate this place lower...I WOULD...and by several levels…read more Initially, I had taken our 1994 Toyota 4Runner to them with a very, VERY slight transmission fluid leak and intermittent slippage when in DRIVE. In less than an hour after leaving the vehicle with them for their diagnosis, they called to say that the fluid level was low and the fluid pan gasket needed replacing, as did the fluid filter/screen. So, over the phone, I approved the repair work to be done. The next day, not only was the leak back, but it was 20-30 times worse -- not mere DROPS, as it was when taken in for the assessment/repair. The fluid is POURING onto our garage floor. So, I returned the car, and they replaced the "replaced gasket" with a new gasket, and I took the car home. Yep, you guessed it! A couple of days later, the leak is back and worse, now, than it was after the initial repair. As well, their front desk associate -- Cameron, who is the son of the owner -- gave me grief when I expressed my disappointment in their, would let me talk by talking over me. Then I encouraged him to let me speak, if I was to avoid suing them. He then unleashed a tirade of screams, using that narcissistic challenge of, "Do you know who you're talking to?!!! And then hung up on me. I immediately called back, and the owner had been brought to the phone and tried to explain...EXCUSE their shoddy work. First, he thought I was completely ignorant of car repair, not knowing that I'd grown up on a farm, helping my dad repair and retool LOTS of major machinery components, INCLUDING TRANSMISSIONS, manual mind you. Ultimately, I had to FORCE them to remove some of the fluid, they had refilled the fluid level way, WAY, WAYYYYYY beyond the FULL notch on the fluid check dipstick. Since then, the leak essentially has disappeared; however, here's the remaining issue, which I didn't mention, given the fundamental failure to resolve the leak. Not only did leak issue worsen on order of magnitude, but so did the transmission slippage -- now not just in DRIVE, but also in SECOND gear, failing to "pull" from a dead standstill, but will kick in after starting the car in LOW, then shifting upward and settling in DRIVE. Needless to say, HELL will receive a ton of fur coat shipments before I'd EVER take my care back to these guys. And, now, YOU stand forewarned. I'd been referred to them by SIGNATURE Auto Repair, who's just next door, literally, as THEY don't do transmission work. Ironically, neither does this MR. TRANSMISSION. Be warned...or be incalculably sorry!!!

They stated multiple times over the years that their "classic car guy" was an expert and could handle a classic car. For the first 5 years of living in atlanta, I took my classic mercedes here until they finally told me their classic car guy was leaving and they wouldn't touch my car going forward. Frankly, they did 5 years of changing my oil and nothing else but they'd charge me for what they called "regular maintenance". Regular maintenance on a classic car should include a lot more than just topping up the oil and calling it a day, but every time I'd mention knocking noises or brake issues or anything else to them, they wouldn't address it at all so I had no idea if they thought it was an issue or didn't. Finally 5 years later, thank god their classic car guy left, because I took it over to a place in Decatur and all of the things I had been worried about, they found a reason, they gave me a full breakdown online of what they recommended and why, they answered all of my questions, and I could pay the invoice online and feel good about it. Update: As of 9:30 p.m., Jacob, the owner, repeatedly called and texted me after my review. He first falsely claimed I'd only visited once four years ago, then offered to pay me, which I refused. After that, he pulled up what he claimed were years of invoices that were not real, despite the fact that I have the original receipts for my own transactions. Even after I repeatedly told him to stop contacting me, he continued until I had to block his number. Based on both my experience and his behavior afterward, I would never recommend this business.

Can you say enough amazing things about John/Garage Zero? I met John at a meet in Atlanta probably 8 years ago while driving my 1985 AW11 MR2. At the time I was a broke 18 year old kid just trying to keep his daily car/passion alive. John actually spent 30 minutes AT THE MEET diagnosing and fixing a timing issue on me car. I have been in touch every since. Fast forward to today... I am now a mid 20s young professional that still has an unhealthy (my girlfriend says) addiction to older japanese cars and John is the only person besides myself allowed to touch my vehicles. If it is a problem or modification that I either do not have the time nor expertise to address... The car gets driven or towed to GZ. So lets take a look at why I go there. -Honesty? John will take a look at a vehicle and shoot you straight as to what might be wrong with it and the most logical and inexpensive pathway to fix it. There is no BS like "You need to change your blinker fluid and it costs $900." -Price? Goes along with honesty. If you only want X and Y fixed, no problem. There is no trying to upsell you on A, F, G, and U products/services. They will give you the best price on the best work. -Knowledge? GZ is regularly known to not only address issues with vehicles but to even clean up the mess left by some shops who claim to know what they are doing. The owner himself is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge for pre 1995 japanese automobiles (and many more beyond just that) -The atmosphere? The shop has an open door policy. Want to come by and discuss your plans for world domination with a 6 rotor Toyota starlet? I am sure they would love to hear. Needing to drop by to just find out what that random ticking noise is? They will meet you with a smile and a handshake at the door/bay! To sum it up: Garage Zero is the best shop I have ever dealt with and arguably the best in greater Atlanta (and perhaps the best vintage japanese shop in North America). I am greatly looking forward to getting my 1jz MX83 back with working gauges, new interior and better response. I also only have one choice for when I go single turbo: Garage Zero. read more

The amount of expertise on my 85 Toyota Supra from John never ceases to amaze me. I live in SW Atlanta and gladly drive (or tow) my vehicle to his shop, so I can get it fixed right the first time, EVERY time. Although most of the time I fix my own car. They are a pretty small garage so of course they don't have the most sophisticated expensive diagnostic equipment, so most of the time when you come in with a problem, Shon would make educated guesses as to what parts need fixed. What I liked about Shon was that if he made a judgement error (like replacing a part that was not actually the root of the problem) he would make it right by offering a refund on the first service, or offering to do additional work for free until it was fixed. I applauded him for that and he gained my trust for about 6 or 7 years. Now that it's Park's auto service, the scenario is still the same: they have to make educated guesses about what is wrong with your car and fix accordingly. Unfortunately, Park does not offer any kind of redemption when he makes a mistake, and tells you "oh that part needed replaced anyway." He doesn't budge on refunds or or no-charge follow-up fixes, even after arguing. This has happened to me several times and I refuse to go here anymore. So that's what you get at Park's: A mechanic that makes a lot of mistakes and does nothing to make them right. I'm done dumping my money into this waste.
