Dishonest owner, went there for alignment few months ago from Discount Tires recommendation, they told me my car can't be aligned due to the stuck rusty screw and still charge $70 for it. When I got oil change later at other shop, I asked the mechanic about it, and he just spray some stuff to the rust and wait a bit, then he checked and said screw is loose now and ready to be aligned. read more

I brought my car in for clutch repair after paying $1,200 I drove the car away and it started making noise brought it back and they charged me for something else.. the car is still not right.. I do not recommend this place. read more

My car does not get much mileage usage, but THIS is the FIRST place that I consider when any service (other than tires) is required. Avoid at all cost. I came in and said their was a leak in the ac and their was already due in the system. They hold my car for 24 to tell me they couldn't find the leak and charged me 130$ for more due to be put in my car. Then they had the deliver truck block in my car for 20 minutes while I'm as trying to leave and was told I just have to wait for him to do his deliver. Poor service. When they called back they questioned if I even had a leak but I told them I just had the system recharged 2 weeks ago and now it is blowing warm. read more

This place is awful and overcharge using deceptive tactics. Went there to get a service and fix my a/c cuz there was a leak. They lied about not finding the obvious leak I pointed out to them and tried to over charge me for everything else. Don't waste your time here trie something a mile down the road. read more

Great guys!! They went out of their way to help me out in a bind on a holiday week. I needed to replace broken wheel studs before Thanksgiving. They were able to get the parts and squeeze me into a busy schedule in one day!! Another nearby shop said it would've been at least 4 days. It would've been a huge headache to figure out other driving arrangements that week so I really appreciate all they did for me. This shop has been around since I've moved here. I have taken my car to get repaired or even for small services for years and they've done nothing but an excellent job. My family loves PJ. He seems like a very knowledgeable employee always coming out to speak to one of us if we had questions about what he did and why he had to do it. They're services quotes are always lower than any other automotive shops we've talked to around here. It is a family owned shop so we trust them way more than franchise or other auto shops. They give us the best prices and we feel 100% confident in their work and knowledge. Also, Diesel is one awesome mascot! Also, Michael the owners son, is pretty handsome and has always has great charisma when talking to me. Him and Brian are great managers! I would recommend this shop to anyone close to me. read more

My motorhome broke down on I75 north of Atlanta. After calling around to several repair shops, Tribble said they could do the brake work on my motorhome. They were honest, thorough, and did the repairs right away. The mechanic even took the time to talk to me and explain the issue in great detail. If I lived in the Atlanta area, I would trust and use Tribble to repair my vehicles. Places like this are hard to find! read more

I have been going to Tribble's for about a year. Their quality and integrity are unmatched. I have lived in the Marietta area for about 30 years and have used many different mechanics over the years. I appreciate the directness with which they let me know what options I have in each of the services I may need. They have worked within my limited budget and the quality of the work doesn't waiver. Take a chance if you want to. I had to visit this place three times for the exact same issues with my car. SIMPLE issues: my breaks squeak, they need to be replaced and my car idles low. After the third "repair" NOTHING and i mean NOTHING had changed with the performance of my car! Can you say pissed!?! Over $600 down the drain. Never again. I dropped my car off with Tribble's Automotive on Friday November 3, 2017 for resurfacing of my rotors. They quoted me a price of $112.00 plus tax. I called them and they informed me that my bill was $151.00. I picked up my vehicle the next morning and the GM Brian quoted me a different price of $251.00! I was shocked. I asked him what was that for? He went to explain to me they had to cut the wheel locks off the car because that was the only way they could resurface my rotors. He did state they may have to cut off the wheel locks, but never told me there was a $100 cost associated with cutting them off at any time he explained the cost of resurfacing rotors. I was furious!!! I was trying to explain to him that ...that was a deceptive sales tactic. He kept trying to brush it under the rug because he had other customers at the counter and he didn't want them to hear what had happened. He eventually agreed it was their error in not explaining the cost of that service, but he never offered a refund, discount, split the cost or anything. In fact while I was trying to have a conversation with him one of his technicians decided to butt into our discussion and stated "well you have to pay for the locks to be cut off". Such unprofessionalism! I left there frustrated after paying $100 more than expected after I was given a final cost over the phone of $151 to pick up my car. Clearly a bait and switch. I have reached out to all my Facebook friends and other sources not to take their cars to TRIBBLE'S AUTOMOTIVE off Canton Rd in Marietta! read more

I took my Jeep Wrangler in for a tune-up because it was skipping. After keeping it for a week, they told me it had a blown engine. I asked how he knew that and he said they did a compression check of all cylinders and it was only reading 15 lbs at best. He said the piston rings were gone and that is why the engine needed to be replaced. He said it would be $2500 - $3500 for a replacement engine or he offered to buy it from me for $600 because he said it wasn't worth fixing. I drove it home and later decided to get a second opinion. Luckily, I then went to an honest repair shop (Nelm's Automotive) and told him to check it out and see why it was skipping. David Nelms called me back in an hour and said all it needed was a new computer module. He had it fixed and running like new the next day. Total cost $515. I would never take anything to Tribble's Automotive! They should be ashamed of themselves. read more
