You never know when you will find yourself in a position to be sitting in an Oncology Office, however it the situation arises, you want to be in this office! I have been going here since 2006. I actually live in MD now, and still travel to Fairfax twice a month, just to keep this particular Doctor Group. I see Dr. Mary Wilkinson, who diagnosed me (twice) :( but I am still here! I am honestly still alive due to the medical plan she has put in place for me, the research, the specific medications, and the care of this office! This is one office that truly cares. They answer phone calls and return them the same day. They call you on scan results the same day you scan. They understand you are sitting by the phone with your hands wrenching. The Nursing Staff is wonderful, caring, and compassionate. You will get hugs, "you can do this", all along the way. They are tied to Fairfax Radiology, which does all the CT, PET, MRI's, etc. They are in the adjoining building, so everything is very centrally located. Parking is free..a bit of a pain, but what isn't a pain in Northern VA. Moral of the story, I wrote this review in hopes of helping someone maybe looking for a good Cancer Doctor, or who knows someone in need of a change from an uncaring Doctor. The day I was diagnosed for the 2nd time around, Dr. Mary Wilkinson, literally had a few tears in her eyes. She did not want to tell me this news, but she delivered it with a hug, a pat on my leg, and words filled with HOPE. Some Doctors don't give hope...she does, and for that reason, that is why I drive 60 miles one way to get there!!

Specifically MACA and DHEA, I had a cyst that tripped in size while taking these in which my Endo surgeon confirmed that supplements like MACA and DHEA make symptoms worse. I put my trust in Dr. Galante and regret not double checking her recommendations with my own research. Honestly in retrospect, I could have just order the tests myself and used chatGPT to find supplements. There was no value in seeing Dr. Galante. She also had me take a DUTCH test knowing full well I was on estrogen supplements and that the test would be omitting valuable information. When I came to her with the issues I was experiencing she wrote back to book another session, clearly only focused on the money, I did not feel cared or supported by her, in fact she didn't even have a direct email address, you have go through the admin for which for what you are paying is ridiculous.

She is very thorough and attentive and allows me to ask all my questions before diving in. She is not the kind of doctor who rolls their eyes when you take out a list -- rather she takes notes on her laptop and delves further when specific issues strike her. When she is with you she is 100 percent present and attentive as if you were her only patient. She also has been very receptive to "going the natural route" when possible over simply writing a prescription.

No...but I'm back to fully functioning b/c of the efforts she has put into my care. And my body hasn't made that easy - finding meds that work only to have my body reject them later. Dr. Sabet has actually spoiled me by setting what is apparently an impossible bar to meet. I've recently been diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder and finding all the necessary specialists has been tough because only my primary care provider comes close to the attention to detail, professionalism, and true concern for my care that Dr. Sabet provides every single time I see her. As for her staff, I've never had a single problem with any of them. They have always been friendly, courteous, and professional. I cannot complain.
