I think that Christie's work is acceptable given her price although I wasn't blown away by any of her images. The Good: Christie is very personable and worked well with my family. I liked that she took charge of the situation and had ideas on how to pose us. The Bad: Christie is difficult to get a hold on and does not communicate well over email. Several of my emails to her have "gotten lost" and she has not responded or responded months later. I am still currently waiting for the prints that came with my LS voucher, and it has been almost 7 months since I ordered them. I am most upset because I bought an extra package from Christie which included hi-res images and additional edited images. I would understand if she was losing money on her living social contract and didn't have time to dot her i's and cross her t's, but I invested additional money in her business in order to make it worthwhile. The bottom line is be careful. There are a lot of amateurs out there who think they have the artistic chops to be a professional photographer but they grossly underestimate the value of a good business ethic and customer satisfaction.

I bought a LivingSocial voucher, and had a session with Christie. While she was very personable, and the pictures she showed me to choose from were great, to this date I have not received the package I paid for. In addition, I had sent her a check for $50 to cover a CD that was not included in the package (almost like the person below I had actually sent this as a nice guesture, it was not even "owed", I did it because I know what it is like to run LivingSocial/groupon type vouchers....so that adds even more salt to the injury). Upon leaving two messages by phone in Feb, I heard back from her in March saying she "thought" she had sent them, and would get them to me. It is now almost May, my check was cashed in November, and the photo session before that.....7-8 months ago. Still have not received a thing. I will be contacting LivingSocial for a refund, and think I have just lost a $50 check to this person. I would not recommend doing business with her, either she is too disorganized or is totally dishonest. :/ Update: It's 5/14/13. Right after I gave this review, she sent me an email promising to send it right away again. Then blocked me on FB - probably so I wouldn't be able to comment on the fact that it is now over two weeks later, and still nothing received. Negotiating time is over. BBB complaint filed today. Rarely do I see a biz that operates like this. Not sure how they can feel good about themselves or continue to operate. Can't rate them lowly enough. 6/3/13: They never responded to the Better Business Bureau's inquiries....why am I not surprised. At least it is documented. They'll have their own karma!

They kept playing my wife's walk out song for the bridesmaid's and groomsmen's. Very embarrassing on the alter for family and friends. Argued over a song when my new bride and I were about to do our first dance since it was the wrong song (again). My wife has been editing photographs now for 4 hours to increase brightness, contrast and discarding some photos. None the less, not a pleasant experience. Do not be fooled with the price. We were. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

He was supposed to record the ceremony in one continuous recording, instead we got a bunch of video clips mixed with pictures of the ceremony. The guy didn't even take pictures of me with my daughter or my daughter with her father, or any pics of the cake. It was terrible. I paid for a package that was supposed to include video and pics. They sent one guy to do both. How does that even work? And my daughter is still upset about it to this day. I still have to hear about it even a year later. I had tried to get a refund, and after arguing with the guy over email and phone, he agreed to refund half the cost and I only received $50 back til this day. Don't waste your time. Even if he offers you "a deal". Don't fall for it. You are better off having a family member do it or doing it yourself. My sister did a better job with her simple camera than this guy did.

I was not sure of the style or format particularly, as I was dealing with different generations, ranging in age from 11-77 years old. I know I just wanted to "capture the moment" with the 20 or so people in our group. Harrison was very available by phone and I set up the session calling from Los Angeles. Harrison was very flexible with his timing and had good suggestions regarding the time needed for the shoot. I first met him at my parents house in Phoenix on the day we planned. He was on time and quickly determined the best place for photos. As it turned out, most of our group had already got dressed up for dinner, so it turned into a more formal shoot with posed photos and less random ones. We were able to get all the different sub-groups done and represented, as well as the difficult task of trying to do a large group shot. The photos turned out great! My parents were quite happy with them, as was the rest of the group. I elected to purchase the rights to all the photos so that we could re-distribute them to our group and they could keep as a memory of the event. We had about 140 quality photos in total for about a 75 minute session. The photos were available to us in under a week. He took both color and black and white shots. I think Harrison did an excellent job in capturing the moment without receiving any specific guidance from me as to how it should be done. He was professional and courteous and I would recommend him for events in the Phoenix area.
