Came back to get the 2 year Woolwax reapplication on my FJ (after Chris and team had done an excellent job of restoring the undercarriage in 2024). The woolwax from 2024 had prevented the undercarriage from rusting, despite 2 snowy winters in which the FJ was exposed to lots of salt on the roads. As usual Chris and his team gave great customer service and Alejandro did a great job with applying the woolwax. Prices are reasonable. You have to receiving delivery of my new Dodge 1500 pick up truck. I contacted this company in regards to having a sprayed in bedliner. After a very nice and cordial conversation with the owner, he gave me a date to bring the truck in. Yesterday I left my truck with them first thing in the morning and we anticipated possibly picking it up today but after three hours, they contacted me and advised me that I could pick it up today which is the same day and I responded to pick up the truck. The spray and lining looks spectacular and they were very careful not to damage anything on the truck and once again they are 100% professional. Two hours after I picked up the truck, the owner contacted me to check and see if I was satisfied with the job and to instruct me not to run it through a car wash or do anything to it until at least Saturday, which is three days later. Where do I even begin? Let me just say, I had an incredibly positive experience with Chris and the entire team at Garden State Undercoating. As a proud owner of an 07 FJ Cruiser, I live near the shop, and I've been searching for a reliable place to perform preventative maintenance on my undercarriage. Given the common issues faced by FJ owners, I had heard rave reviews about Garden State Undercoating and decided to give them a try. At first interaction, Chris could have easily upsold me by suggesting I do a full repaint of my undercarriage, but advised me that my chassis was still in great condition and he could stop and remove the rust without going through the costly process of a repaint. Chris and his team power washed my FJs undercarriage, descaled it, and applied a black wool wax treatment that made it look like new. In the future, I will simply visit the shop for a respray every two years. They also went above and beyond their scope of work and fixed several other issues on my FJ Cruiser as part of their service. The first issue was installing an AC drain extension in the right wheel well to protect the frame from the condenser drip. The other issue was that I was losing coolant, and none of my regular shops could figure out why. Chris wasn't even aware of this issue and told me there was a leak from where the thermostat was connected. As a result, my coolant issue was magically gone. Not to mention, the team also sprayed my engine bay with a clear coat to keep it looking like new. In addition to the woolwax work, Chris ground down and sprayed my side steps with a Raptor liner texture coat that came out amazing. As you can see from other reviews, visiting Garden State Undercoating is a must. I could not speak more highly of Chris's responsiveness and professionalism.
