Complete smart ass, but funny as hell none the less. I also truly enjoy that there is a pool table as well as a bowling alley. Gives one something to do if they find themselves bored. My complaints? A few: 1. The food is average. For the price one pays to be part of the club, I would expect more. 2. The club never seems to have an abundance of people, especially of the younger variety. Of course, the age group is of personal taste. 3. Of the people I have met there, there are a few that I would consider snobby in the least. But, what can you expect, it's a wealthy town, and you will always find people such as this in one. A good neighborhood club, but certainly not the best.

While the building and grounds are slightly above average looking, the service and food are definitely superior to any country club in the area. I started with a tomato and mozzarella appetizer (very fresh) and my friend ordered the seared ahi tuna appetizer. Sliced tuna shingles with various Asian inspired garnishes such as seaweed salad, wasabi, diced avocado. Almost too pretty to eat but after one bite, all bets were off. Easily one of the best appetizers on the menu. I had the pork chop which was thick and juicy and my buddy had the salmon, blackened. Could have been a little spicier for me, but tasty nonetheless. We shared bananas foster for dessert-prepared tableside. Bring the kids for this one, they'll love it. After dinner we went downstairs to the bar for a nightcap and were greeted by Ed, a guy that really loves his job and his "office" which overlooks the lake. I had a Remy (served warm - yummy) and my host had an ice cold beer, Stone IPA I believe. We ended up staying and chatting with the bartender, a funny guy, and a few other members who were there for a quick bite at the bar. Yes, bar food in a country club! They wouldn't stop raving about the burgers! Dress is casual but neat. I was a little overdressed but felt right at home after removing my jacket and tie. All in all it was a great experience. Based on my visit, I look forward to returning. Next time I'll leave the suit and tie at home.

I do not recommend this venue…read more We had a terrible experience with the manager. He spoke to us disrespectfully throughout the entire event, used inappropriate language, and treated our family with complete disrespect. What should have been a beautiful and unforgettable day for our little cousin's quinceañera turned into a nightmare because of the way we were treated. We are a Hispanic family, and sadly, we felt we were treated differently. Even our 15-year-old cousin, on one of the most special days of her life, was yelled at by the manager. No young girl should ever have to experience that on her quinceañera. The venue itself is nice, but customer service is just as important. Because of the way we were treated, I cannot recommend this place. I sincerely hope they improve the way they treat their guests so that no other family has to go through what we experienced.

We were greeted by a friendly staff who worked very hard all evening, from management to servers, to make the food service smooth and flawless The appetizers were fresh and delicious: all Italian and Mediterranean food, top quality salami and other meats, cheeses, olives, artichokes, etc. The entrees were delicious, penne vodka, cavatelli broccoli, eggplant, thinly sliced beef, salmon, etc The rooms look updated and are nicely kept: beautiful paint, wainscoting, vaulted ceilings, soft lighting all create an inviting, warm and classical environment. Thank you management and staff for all your attention to detail.

Do not hesitate to go with Bella Fiori Floral Event and Design !!! I live in Massachusetts and had…read moreto deal long distance with the crew and they were the best ever. The event was our mother's 100th birthday party and mom is quite the character. Thirty of her buddies from her adult community were coming by party bus as well as another one hundred family and friends from far and wide; five generations in all. It had to be Special. Besides, my three sister would be watching; I was in charge of the decorations and the venue left a lot to be desired. Since it was a venue that typically held corporate events lots of camouflage and distraction was needed. I gave the crew my budget and told them what I'd like. I trusted their expertise and am so glad I did ! These are Pros, capital P. They worked with me, scoped out the venue multiple times, were in constant touch with the event manager at the venue as well as the person in charge of the catering ( buffet and bar set up) and had everything under control from the get go. At the last minute (literally as they were setting up) management decided to move the bar area into a small side room to accommodate the size of the crowd; the crew handled it all smoothly (while my sisters and I panicked) and decorated the extra room, doorway and all ! It looked so very lush and lovely !! The typical comment of the day was "the party was great, but the decorations were spectacular!". After the party, not a centerpiece was left behind ! Best of all; mom was thrilled with the way the rooms looked; she'd had two other parties held for her there before (90th and 95th). Her comment; "how did you manage this?! The place is transformed!" Thank you Bella Fiori for making this event so spectacular.

With their professionalism and artistry, Patti and her team made the impossible look easy. I had different budgets for different parts of my wedding, the stationary, the signs, the flowers, and Bella Fiori was upfront and straight forward about what we could do and how we could make everything happen as a "baller on a budget". From my invitations, to my menus, to the flower arrangements and decor surrounding my big day, everything was perfect and they didn't miss a single detail. Meeting with Patti and the team was not only insightful, but a hoot! We had so much fun together planning and brainstorming. They made me feel like any idea I had was a possibility, which made the process of expressing exactly what I wanted so easy and comfortable. The team also met me at my venue (Clarks Landing) to take a look at what else we could design and plan. They painted signs for me, they designed trees for me as my centerpieces, and they even made flowers float above our heads as we said "I do"! Do not even get me started on the epic-ness that was my bouquet!! IT was beyond what I ever could have imaged; delicate and textural. Not only did Bella Fiori help with my wedding day, Patti and the girls also designed and set up my outdoor rehearsal dinner AND AND AND the brunch that followed the day after my wedding. They encompassed my theme into an entire weekend from the rehearsal to the morning after. Patti was reachable anytime I had an Idea and sent it her way, she responded quickly and with great feedback. My sister will also be using Bella Fiori for her wedding and I've referred them to everyone I know with an upcoming event. I have this amazing team booked for a couple more events of my own as well and plan to include them on everything I have in mind going forward. I literally cannot wait to see what Patti and the team have cooked up next.

We did our due diligence - spoke with a staff member about their programs, had a positive encounter with them during a community event, and perused the website. Everything seemed like it'd be a good fit, so we signed up for two weeks of camp (again, as a Counselor-in-Training) Day 1 -- our daughter comes home and recalls how she was asked to sit with one child, one-on-one, all day. The staff suggested that this child had "behavioral issues", and that our daughter should come get them (the Counselors) if he did not listen and did anything wrong. As a former counselor + advocate, I did not like how this sounded, but wanting to give the organization a solid chance and wanting to foster resilience in our daughter, we sent her back for a second day. Day 2 -- our daughter comes home and recalls she was asked to organize a bookshelf, which took her 40 minutes, and had very little interactions with the counselors -- whom she was supposed to be learning from. Now I'm agitated. For, these were NOT the type of experiences we had expected and wanted for our daughter; we pulled her from the camp after just two days. She was never given proper instructions or opportunities to learn from the counselor nor asked to work with campers working on art projects; but to have our child sit with one camper, one-on-one, all day, was a huge red flag and liability issue that I could no longer overlook. When reaching out to share our concerns, the owner responded and suggested our daughter fabricated everything. That the experiences our daughter had were not consistent with how their staff saw things. This left me flabbergasted that the staff had no empathy for our daughter and her experiences there, did not validate our concerns as a family, and essentially suggested our daughter made it up. There was no accountability; NOT ONE THING her staff could have done differently? Nor was there self-reflection to rumble with -- how could they have helped our daughter have a better experience. Only condescending finger pointing wrapped in ultra polite and polished language. On top of it all, the organization has a no refund policy. So my family paid $400 for our daughter to learn skills of a Counselor-in-Training, she attended just two day, and all she took away was being a 1:1 aide (again, the liability piece was overlooked by the staff in their response!) and organizing a bookshelf. I expected more from a non-profit organization! They have our money - see if you can use our balance towards your enrollment fees!
