I booked a non- smoking room, I'm happy that I cannot detect any residual smoke smell. I like that they have free breakfast available starting at a very early time: 5:30 am. I was not able to partake of their breakfast, but it a good incentive when you stay in this hotel. I will definitely book a room here again if I come back to this place.

The town is quaint but be warned, being a small town it closes early and barely opens on Sunday. Great opertunities to go site seeing. Book early. They accept reservations one year out.

It felt like home, what a great place to stay in the heart of downtown Rutherfordton NC ... your with in walking distance to restaurants, coffee and ice cream, & shops . Everything was great and perfect. The grounds are very nice they have plenty of places outside to sit and enjoy the sun. There's parking in the front and in the rear... lots of history here. It's just a unique place to stay. We love it and will be back . I recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone who wants a place to rest and relax. This place is awesome and you will "NOT" be disappointed!
