I was on my way out of the Cal Poly Pomona vicinity and happened to notice the gas gauge at 1 bar. Yikes! Time to get some gas LOL. It was Chevron at cash price $5.59+ per gallon or Shell at cash price $5.35+ per gallon for regular 87 octane. Shell won of course and it was on my right hand side and not across the street which was a plus. Location makes a difference! This gas station is slightly on a hill so entry and exit can get tricky. Also it's very tight between each aisle of pumps. Paid at the pump... the way I prefer it. Price is a bit higher than the gas stations I normally pump at and that's okay. I needed gas at the time so I gotta pay the price for convenience LOL... it's all good. Thank you Shell! They also have a small food mart. No interaction with any employees. I prefer it this way unless I have to interact with staff. Temple Ave is a very busy street and it's near the Fwy 57, too. Be careful exiting from this gas station. Funny, I didn't realize Pomona is right next door to Diamond Bar until now. We tend to learn something new every day. read more

This place is bad. The car wash is terrible. It does not clean your car. Then, the blower that is supposed to drop down and follow the roof line of the vehicle doesn't work so it does not dry the car!!!!!! When I complained to the clerk, she told me it was broke and had been broken for a long time. Then told me to come back tomorrow to talk to the manager. She would not give me a refund even though she knows it is broken! Initially, the code that I received at the pump did not work. So, I had to physically go inside to get the carwash code. She did not tell me the carwash was broken! This place is a dump. Half the time you can't get a receipt at the pump. Half the time you can't read the screens because of graffiti. Went to get gas and a car wash. Didn't realize until I got home that my car was still extremely filthy and looked exactly the same as it did before I got it washed even though I got the "better wash" option. Called to see if I could get a refund while I could barely hear the clerk over the phone and they said that I couldn't get a refund since I left the premises. Extremely irritating. Went to the cashier to ask what had happened and explained to me that there was nothing they could do but wait until the manager comes back Monday morning to have anything happen. I do not live too close to this location so to go out of my way just to even speak with a manager two days later to resolve the problem is horrible. No refund and no car wash. I have been going to his Shell for years. As well as my wife and Daughter. Needless to say this Shell has lost our business forever. This has to be the most un-ethical, non-communicative business I have ever dealt with in my life! As a family we spend over $400 per month at this Shell. Needless to say, they have lost our business to a competitor and I will make it my goal to assure that the general public is aware of how bad the management and ownership is of this Shell Station is. I went to get gas as usual a week ago at this Shell. I also purchased a car wash. Igot my gas and I started to go through the car wash. It did not start up properly. I was in the car wash stuck with nothing going on. I got out of my car and got the supervisor 'Lynn' to assist. Lynn had to make two attempts to make the car-wash go. The first time it did not work. Each time, Lynn had me drive around to start the process again. It finally went off and appeared to work. That being said, it also felt as if my car was slightly tipped to the left and not perfectly horizontal. I went home and went inside my home as it was close to Five PM. I went out the next day to go to work and noticed a 12" x 12" surface scratches directly in the middle front of the hood. Guess where that came from? Yup, the abrasive rubber wheel that comes down from the top of the car wash to clean. I immediately went to the Shell to show my concern and see what could be done. I also showed the cashier the surface scratches from the car wash. The cash register employee stated that he could not do anything except take my name and number and have the supervisor call me. Well, guess who that was? Lynn! I waited a day and no call was ever received from Lynn. I drove back to the Shell and once again expressed myself to the cashier on my concern and frustration that no one was reaching out to me to resolve. Now keep in mind, I spend over $400 a month at this Shell, $5K a year!! I called Lynn two more times and left a message to no avail. I went back a third time and guess who I was able to see walking from the Cashier area to the office are in back? Lynn! I had Lynn come look at the car and I also have pictures of this. She said nothing could be done without her Manager. I asked for his contact information, I was told I was not allowed to receive this information. I left my information for the third time for the Manager of this Shell to get back to me. I waited yet another day with no communication. I called Lynn and left several messages. No call back from Lynn was ever received. One day, I finally got Lynn on the phone as I called on a different phone (as I was being phone screened). I told her about my concern and frustration in how my issue was being ignored at all levels. Lynn once again said, she would tell her Manager. I once again asked as well, 'can I have the Manager's contact information'? I was once again told 'no'. Another day went by and I was very persistent in calling. After six more calls, Lynn picked up (again due to me calling from another phone) and she said that the Manager would have their technician look at the car wash and get back to me. Two more days went by and I had to make several calls to reach Lynn as no one called me back. When I finally did, she said that the video was looked at (she did not say by whom) and it was deemed that there was nothing wrong and that was the end of it from their perspective. I once again, expressed my deep concern that no one would look at my car and see exactly what I had shown the Cashier and Lynn to get to a resolution. This was received with 'crickets'. Again, I spend close to $5K a year at this Shell station on a yearly basis. If anyone from this Shell Station who owns it, would take five minutes to see what I had already shown others, it would be VERY clear to them, that yup, the car wash had an issue that day and Shell needs to resolve this. I understand that the car-wash is owned by another company, but you see, this does not matter, this car-wash is on the property of this Shell gas station and they ultimately have the responsibility to make this right as any business/partner relationship is run. I have spoken to Lynn over six times with no resolution. I have never spoken to a Manager of this Shell station. I have just been kicked to the curb and ignored. I made it clear to Lynn that I would not stop until this was resolved. It is bad business and extremely unethical in how they treat their own paying customers. I tried one last time to reach Lynn and Management of this Shell Station and guess what, the phone number has been changed (626-585-8520) and is no longer valid for Lynn. How low can you go? Again,Shell just lost more than $5k a year from myself and my family, the integrity of the brand is forever lost and will be duly noted in a small claims case. What a waste! So my son just went to this station I asked him to pick up a lotto ticket for me he is 18 had his ID on him and they would not sell him one! I told him to ask for the manager he said the lady called the manager spoke in Spanish and said they cannot sell him one.He then left and went to Arco right next to shell and they sold him one. I go to this location a lot however now I probably won't. My concern is if the manager and employee does not know how to calculate how old someone is or does not know the legal age for a lotto ticket do they know the legal age to buy alcohol? read more

I enjoy using the car wash service here and the gas attendant is usually friendly when I go. However I do not recommend using the air (for the tires) here! It's right next to the freeway and right as I was about to enter, my tire pressure alert turned on after I tried to add more air to my tires. I never have a problem when stopping at this gas station especially for those times when you really need to. As most of us are always on a budget or just super short on cash, I was left with the dilemma of having to pay for gas in coins, in this case it was a US silver dollar coin and the rest in change. The cashier "RUBY" was very unhelpful when I handed her my money. She told me she couldn't take my money, I began to ask "why not ? It is still money ! Unlimited monthly car wash pass for $20 (does a great job cleaning my car) is a great deal and the clerks are always friendly. However the homeless really like to congregate there...not good for business. The 7-11 and Chevron nearby don't seem to have this issue, so I guess the owner doesn't care. read more

It's a gas station, and if you're following my reviews you know I have a hard time reviewing gas stations. Of the four years I've worked in Diamond Bar and lived in Glendora, I've only stopped here twice. I usually hit up another station on Diamond Bar Blvd. on the way home from work. Today was one of the two or three times it was necessary to get gas on the way to work, a feat I rarely leave myself time for. The location is interesting. Not bad, just interesting. If you get off the 57, you can drive straight in. Getting out isn't an issue either, though I could see how it could be. Overall, nothing to complain about. read more

It's a gas station afterall, with that said the manager is always super friendly and she remembers her regular customers. They have unlimited car washes and the machine doesn't do too bad. Of course it's nothing compared to a traditional car wash, however it's great at keeping the bird droppings or crud from the road off your car.
