This is my first time shopping at Winco in Pomona, CA. The prices are reasonable. Service is great. Ambiance is clean and well organized. I am glad I read the reviews prior to entering the store. When I got to the checkout line, I asked the cashier if he can take credit card and he said no. They only take Cash or Debit card. I don't trust using my debit card! I did not see any sign stating CASH OR DEBIT ONLY prior to entering the store! I had to remove some of my groceries and only purchased drink cans. I will definitely be back with extra cash on me, but that won't happen anytime soon.

We were in the area a couple of weeks ago and hubby wanted to check out this Winco (specifically for egg prices). *Winco does NOT accept credit cards* (in case you didnt know). The parking lot is the cleanest Winco parking lot I've been to. The inside of the store is also clean, well organized, and fully stocked. They had a good amount of eggs, but..... expensive af!! It appears that eggs are the same price at every Winco (Lakewood, Perris, Norco, Temecula, Pomona), $36 for 60 medium. Overall, Winco Pomona is impressively the cleanest Winco by far (that I've been to)!! Always great prices here, esp on their canned & frozen goods and spices.

    Expired sept 16 2025??? And I ate some?? I hope I don't get food poisoning !!

I like this place, but it's a shame that there's products on shelves that have expired 6 months ago.... I opened this for a snack and took two bites and noticed it tasted sour and off.. expired 6 months ago. I also bought a box of crackers I don't have a picture of it but they also expired 4-5 months ago 2025... girl it's march 2026 why is there expired products from 6 months ago I guess if you shop there make sure you check their expiration dates... great prices otherwise but not sure if I'll be back cuz that's unnecessary work for the customers...

A discount supermarket that open 24 hours. Some item have good price and some average pricing. I did not encounter any staff that had bad attitude as some people complain. So far so good. No credit card accepted.

First time going to WINCO. Plenty of free parking. Free to enter.. no membership required!!! The store gives me Walmart + costco warehouse vibes. The store is ginormous!!! I would say prices are not astronomically cheaper than major grocery chains, but they are slightly cheaper. There's an area where you can purchase BULK items! - candy - coffee - honey - tea - nut butters - dried pasta - beans - trail mix - dried fruit I would most definitely come back if I'm in the area!

I don't come to this grocery store as much just because of the distance, but when I do come I end up buying way more than i planned due to prices and variety of items. The service is usually pretty good at check out. I wished they accepted credit vs bank card when paying for the food though

I love coming here for bulk refill spices, pancake mix, candy / snacks, and the fresh ground peanut butter! Also potato wedges are only $2/lb. Winco can be your one stop shop if you aren't too picky about price. They have a wide variety of grocery items. Some things are a really good deal and others are not so much. They only take cash or debit card. Don't go to self check out if you think you'll need help because the cashiers there can be very very rude if you ask for help.

I've been shopping at WinCo for a while, but this was my first time at this location. I bought a variety pack of muffins, today, I sat down to eat one, and a hair came out of it. I called to complain, and I was told I could get a refund, but I will not be buying the bakery goods again.

This lady has the worst attitude ever and same with customer service, I saw how she talks to their Co-workers, I will never come back to Winco till the manager do something, she needs to smile more because she is into the customer service world, when she's walking around the store the ambiance feels so weird and bad. I love Winco food-supplies but this is unacceptable. I have 6 years of experience in customer service-management and I've never seen this before and I'm not gonna accept this kind of employee attitude in my job. No thanks Winco, Karma will get you Vanessa.

This looked like a big ol' farm store and from the second I saw it, I was pretty darn excited. This large store features ample parking, tables outside, and a petting zoo that didn't actually have any animals, but maybe they were just inside. The shop itself is full of baked goods, clothing, drinks, and literally everything else you can usually find at a farm style store. I was super tempted to pick up a bunch of chocolate when walking around, but since it was pretty hot outside I had to settle for the farms own Orange Juice and a big fat rice crispy treat with chocolate and pretzel on top. The orange juice was OH SO refreshing on this hot day and the rice crispy treat was really good as well. Overall, The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a great place to stop and pick up a few things. I really liked the two things I picked up and I can definitely see stopping back here the next time i'm in Pomona!

The grocery section had all the basics I needed, and everything was pretty organized and easy to find. Displays were clean and well put together. It's in a convenient spot in Pomona between Towne and Arrow, so it's an easy quick stop. I didn't really interact with staff since I used self-checkout, but it was fast and no issues. The employees there consistently chose fresh, high-quality produce, and I rarely had any issues. Unfortunately, my experience at the Walmart on Arrow Highway and Towne has been completely different. I strongly recommend not ordering fruits or vegetables for pickup from this location. Time after time, I receive produce that is bruised, overripe, moldy, wilted, or clearly past its best quality. I'm honestly shocked that some of these items are even being left on the shelves for customers to purchase. Every time this happens, I tell myself I won't order produce again, but with my busy schedule, pickup is often my only option. Customers who use pickup should receive the same quality produce they would choose for themselves if they were shopping in the store. Please do better. Train your employees on how to recognize and select fresh fruits and vegetables. Quality control matters, and this location is not meeting the standard I've come to expect from Walmart Pickup. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously because this issue has been ongoing and is very disappointing.
