If you're even remotely serious about bourbon--or rare spirits of any kind--Valley Market Liquor in…read moreWalnut, CA is not just a liquor store... it's a destination. I say this as someone who actively bourbon hunts, who understands allocations, secondary markets, distillery drops, and the difference between "hard to find" and actually rare. I also say this as someone who regularly interacts with and learns from some of the most respected names in the bourbon community. I've been around. I know what elite looks like. Valley Market Liquor is firmly in that tier. Their inventory is nothing short of staggering. This is one of those places where you immediately realize you're not in a normal liquor store. Rare, special, and allocated bottles are not treated like mythical unicorns here--they're curated, thoughtfully stocked, and rotated with an eye for true enthusiasts. Whether you're chasing limited releases, hard-to-find single barrels, elite store picks, or bottles you've only ever seen online or on Instagram, there's a very real chance Valley Market Liquor has it... and at a fair price. What's most impressive is not just the volume, but the quality of the selection. This isn't random hype inventory. It's a collection built by people who understand bourbon--heritage, mash bills, distillery profiles, aging statements, and what actually drinks well versus what just looks good on a shelf...and their bundle offers are incredible, and well-thought-out! The customer service is on another level. Ly (the owner), and staff, are wonderfully friendly and are genuine experts. Conversations here feel like talking shop with fellow bourbon hunters, not being sold to by someone reading shelf tags. They listen. They ask what you like. They make recommendations that are thoughtful, educated, and spot-on. It's immediately clear they live and breathe this world. And beyond the knowledge, the kindness stands out. The owners are incredibly welcoming, helpful, and sincere. You feel appreciated the moment you walk in or place an order. That matters--especially in a community like bourbon, where relationships and trust mean everything. Their online presence through lyliquor.com and vmliquor.com deserves its own standing ovation. These sites are unlike anything else out there. The availability alone is jaw-dropping--bottles that most stores never see are just... there. And the pricing? Unbeatable. Legitimately some of the most competitive prices I've seen anywhere, especially given the caliber of inventory. For collectors, enthusiasts, and serious drinkers who know the market, this is the kind of online store you bookmark, check often, and quietly tell your closest bourbon friends about--because it's that good. Shipping is another area where Valley Market Liquor in Walnut, CA absolutely shines. Their packaging is exceptional--meticulous, professional, and clearly designed by people who care deeply about what they're sending. Every bottle is triple-protected, carefully wrapped, and secured with the kind of attention you'd expect if they were shipping their own personal collection. Bottles arrive pristine. Every time. There are liquor stores... and then there are institutions. Valley Market Liquor is the latter. This is the kind of place that earns lifelong customers, not just one-time purchases. It's rare to find a shop that combines massive inventory, elite product knowledge, fair pricing, exceptional service, flawless shipping, and genuinely good people under one roof--but this one does. If you're a bourbon hunter, a collector, a serious enthusiast, or even someone just starting to explore the world of great whiskey, this is a store you need to experience. I'll be shopping here often, recommending it loudly, and proudly calling it my go-to. Valley Market Liquor has earned a customer for life--and then some. Absolutely a hidden gem, @bourbon_hunter and @brewzle! #bourbonhunting #bourboncommunity #liquorstorefind

Carwash closes at 11pm and opens as early as 6am…read more I have a membership here and the quality of the wash has gone down for some reason (doesn't fully remove spots and doesn't fully remove dirt) I just remember it being better a year ago. It's still good though! I recommend getting the membership to take advantage of the unlimited carwashes. Lines can be long so either go early morning or late before closing. TIP: Each carwash is approximately 6 minutes until the line moves one car (assuming it's the deluxe wash)

This review is for their car wash. Please note that I have been joining their monthly car wash…read moremembership for about 2 years now. On June 13, 2026, I arrived the facility at 10:22pm. As usual, I was lining up waiting for my turn. There were 6 vehicles in front of me. Two were right in front of the car wash station, because the space can only fit two vehicles. Four were waiting by the Extra Mile store as the extended line was designated. My vehicle was at the No. 7 spot. At 10:55pm, there were two more vehicles in front of me and I was at the No. 3 spot stilling waiting by the store. A Hispanic mid age female worker, who refused to provide me her name, came out and claimed that a vehicle had to be inside the car wash station by 11:00pm. As a result, she blocked me out. She further claimed that I would get stuck even she let me in. I knew that was a LIE, speaking based on my experience, what I saw in the past and right at that moment. The two vehicles in front of me didn't get blocked out and the second vehicle entered the car wash station well after 11:00pm. I asked her to show me the sign, the sign only indicated from 6am to 11:00pm and NEVER indicated that a vehicle MUST be inside the car wash station by 11:00pm. From doing better business standpoint, u should know well that u have every right to stop people lining up after 11:00pm; however, u need to honor those arriving before 11:00pm. Feel free to adjust the service hours if needed. In addition, educate and provide customer services training to your employees goes a long way.

The pharmacist with the curly dark brown hair and the big guy with the light brown hair who closed…read moretonight are truly such evil human beings. I placed my order at 6, got in line at 7:20 and the girl told me it wasn't ready and to come back in 20 minutes so I did. The line was really long when I came back but I still made it to the window at 7:58. They start closing everything in my so I pressed the call button and said "hi I'm the one you told to come back" the pharmacist starts YELLING saying "I told you to come inside not the drive through" i tell her that no she didn't and she keeps yelling "Yes I did ABIGAIL HERNANDEZ, yes I did!" ... my name is not Abigail... I try to tell her that and she keeps yelling back and forth while I'm trying to explain that I am not Abigail, she continues to question me until she finally asks me for my date of birth and I gave it to her. Luckily I had start recording at this point bc I had never ever been spoken to like that in my entire life. I work on customer service, I know people are annoying, and I'm not one of those! I don't know what Abigail did but if the worst thing she did was come to the drive through instead of instead, it still is not warranted. She then yells at me the price and I tell her yes I'm aware. She puts me on hold and then tells me she'll open it up. The entire time the big guy is staring at me through the window. I'm alone, I feel completely unsafe by him but I am so sick and I just want my medicine to try and feel a little bit better. They toss out an empty basket without saying a word, I ask them if it's for my id or my card, they don't respond so I just put both. They give my medicine and a pen with a receipt but it has no signature line. The guy is still staring so I ask if I'm supposed to sign, no response again so I sign the paper and put it back. I ask them if I need anything else and the lady comes over upset and says "you signed the wrong paper, here sign this one"... there was no other paper other than my medicine bag? These people have no heart or empathy, you are working with sick people and this is how you treat them... that's pure evil, do work at place where you don't need to interact with others, remote jobs exist!! Avoid the big guy and the woman with the curly hair at all costs. You don't know when they will just randomly snap on you. UPDATE: I called to talk to the store manager and it turns out the guy who kept staring and ignoring me was the manager, Michael. To make matters worse, when I asked if my receipt could be emailed to me, considering how uncomfortable they made me feel, he refused and told me I would have to return to the store in person. The complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect from "management" was honestly shocking.

Wasted my time and make me waited over 20 minutes and then worse is they laughed and talked about me when I complained then you shouldn't call the client and said is ready! Just because your time is important doesn't means others are not! Unprofessional and mean attitude!

I then asked why they are closed as the store time is at 6pm. The circlek employee became agitated and rudely commented things like "I'm done with you, Service is refused, you can leave". I asked if he was the manager and johny became upset and aggressive. The Circlek employee was confrontational and at the point were he was being pulled away by the Wetzel pretzel female employee as he continued to approach me yelling "punch me, punch me" after he had purposely bumped into me as i had not moved from the spot i was at. I asked the Wetzel employee if the circlek employee was drunk due to the erratic way he was behaving. I frequent this location and never had an issue there. This was all caused because of a question of Wetzel's Pretzels hours. Terrible experience and requesting to speak to the person in charge of that location. Unacceptable behavior.
