Newfangled was amazing! They responded to my initial inquiry within a few hours. Quick replies really go a long way in my world! They sent an invoice, confirmed my pick up date, and just like that I was on to my next to-do. The chocolates were incredible and truly like little pieces of art! They were also much bigger than I was anticipating but no one is going to be sad about MORE chocolate. My only feedback is that I didn't ask each truffle flavor to be placed in the same placement of each box. This was for a chocolate and wine pairing so that made it a bit trickier because they were mixed throughout. Thankfully, we decided to plate the truffles so it all worked out. I'll definitely use Newfangled again in the future!

You can buy them all around town too. Most recently, I've spotted a full Frittle display in my local Kroger and purchased a few pralines from Yats on Mass Ave. They're beginning to sweep the country as well, so be sure to be on the lookout! The owner is sweet, and the combination of her ambition and the deliciousness of the product really have be sold on being a lifelong fan.

She had a huge smile, gave me a sample of their signature caramel, and gave me a run through of Abbott's history. The caramel was amazing!!!! It's so creamy and smooth and melts in your mouth without sticking horribly to your teeth. I left with a bag that didn't last to long in the house. There are also chocolates like truffles and nut clusters that are delicious. I got chocolate covered marshmallows for my kids and the couldn't eat them fast enough!

So imagine my surprise when I pick up a dark chocolate bar at a food co-op in northern Michigan and I'm enjoying it after dinner and think, "where is this made?" and I find out 73rd Street in Indianapolis?!?! I've had the dark chocolate w/ sea salt and almonds as well as a 70% cacao dark chocolate bar. I thoroughly enjoyed both! They're vegan, gluten free, non GMO certified and a fair trade product. I did get an 88% chocolate bar hoping it was like the high percentage bars I used to get in Japan, it was not. The chocolate melts very slowly, you almost have to force it with pressure since the heat in your mouth doesn't seem to trigger it. It has a nice faint sweetness at the front of your tongue but once it hits the back all you sense it overwhelming bitter and an almost sour feeling. The aftertaste is pleasant though. Yes, I know it's supposed to be bitter but I've had others that were distinct but not overpowering in bitterness. I'll continue my search for the elusive high percentage chocolate bars like I've had in the past.

They started brewing teas 30 years ago as a way to provide their children, family, and friends healthier options to soft drinks. That has turned into Nature's Tea Company. Nature's Tea has both bottled tea and loose-leaf tea options. I tried a $4 bottle of Hibiscus Sangria Tea today. It's not from concentrate, has no premixed powered tea, no artificial fruits, and no artificial ingredients. There are no preservatives or fillers added and no GMOs. Products are available at various locations in Indiana and Illinois per the website. Indy locations include their home base along with Cleo's Bodega and Georgetown Market. You can find Nature's Tea Company at farmer's markets. The person I met, I'll assume it was Kevin, was super friendly and even moved a display of tea so I could better access the options and see what they offered. Nature's Tea has black teas, chai teas, fruity teas, green teas, dessert teas, Oolong Tea, gift sets, wellness tea, RTD teas, and other product options. From what I read, Kevin is a chemist and it's clear that Nature's Tea really works to develop healthy tea options. I did find the label on my bottle a bit confusing - it says that there's 45 calories per serving and 1 serving per container, however, it also says a serving size is 1 oz. - it then has (16) in parentheses. I think it's pretty clear that one bottle is considered a serving, though the wording is a bit confusing. If you buy a 12-pack off their website or at their store, the price drops to $3 per bottle. It's certainly more than a soft drink, however, it's much more healthy and satisfying. Overall, this is a great discovery for this tea lover. I love supporting local and I love iced tea. There's no doubt I'll be back.

Some of the flavors I've tried are Mo Berry Cosmo, Mango Mojito, Waterpalm Rita and Hibiscus Sangria. They're $3 a bottle so not cheap like a soda but much better tasting and better for you. It looks like a popular store because there were many customers busy buying the foodstuff. The store has a wide selection of spices and Indian ethnic food. However, the variety of vegetables were limited. It is highly recommended to check expiry dates. Our favorite items were samosa chat, paneer paratha, and pani puri. Occasionally, we tried their Indian sweets and found them fresh and flavorsome. The staff is helpful and friendly. For any event requiring sweets/snacks in bulk, an order can be placed with them.

Simple: pure, natural ingredients--many of them from other local businesses--that when grinded and mixed together make something good and delicious. Currently, Revival has five fabulous flavors: Classic, Super Spread (w/ flax seeds), Coco Love (w/ raw cacao powder), Chai Time (w/ chai spices), and Balance Blend (w/ rosemary). I usually mix it up and rotate between the Super Spread and the Balance Blend. They've become staples in my pantry, and I love pairing them with apples, yogurt, or my spoon.
