I saw so many products that are top quality - ones that are free of chemicals, dyes, preservatives, etc. that's in most foods you find at your typical grocery. I spotted great brands such as Real Salt, Nordic Naturals, Braggs, Evolved, and more. I also loved that they had a huge wall of natural kids medicines and homeopathy. When our baby was sick, they were hard to find at any of the big stores and I'm so grateful that they carry them here, as I don't want to give any dyes or harmful ingredients to such a small little human. They also have some local produce (saw the beautiful mushrooms), local GF bread (yay, Native!), local honey, local Tinker, Limelight, and Blue Mind coffee beans, and more. So many great options that will make your body feel amazing. They have rows of herbs, nuts, berries, spices, and more that you can help yourself to, or pre-made bags too. This time around, I picked out a little Four Sigmatic organic matcha latte mix and one of the new Bragg apple cider vinegar drinks (just organic apple cider vinegar and lime juice). It was soooo good and a great way to balance blood sugar with a meal. I'll be back for sure! The only reason why I knocked off a star is that you want the employees to match the mission of the shop. There was someone smoking a cig in the back parking lot, a girl at the counter that was slumped over on her phone, and a man walking around not smiling. This is already a dimly-lit, slightly-worn shop, so you want the people inside to be the ones breathing life into it by sharing about new products, health benefits of existing ones, and answering any questions. They didn't seem approachable, which I think is important for a store with so many different products that people will probably have questions about. It's such a natural and great way to bring new faces into the space and celebrate local makers. The farmers market is a great family activity and often features live music, storytelling and other charming activities. We often end up grabbing brunch from Llama Delicatessen and Tinker Coffee. As for market vendors, you'll find everything from pasta and local cheese to winter produce, honey and dried flowers. It's a great assortment of food you can actually take home to make meals (and not just sauces and soaps ;). This is one of our favorite ways to spend Saturday mornings in the winter. The Amp - even tho it is not by anything - has the audacity to have pay parking lots but they are FREE during the farmers market! This market is huge with lots of vendors. Bring CASH. We were told we would get 1.5lbs bacon, and .5lbs bacon bits. When picking up the bacon, we only got the bacon, and none of the bits. This needs to be updated on the class description. Sandwiches: we tried a goose, and a batalli. The goose was good- nothing spectacular. I was a fan of the batalli- nice amount of mayo, appropriate spice, and good amount of meat/cheese. Would definitely get the batalli next time. Overall, I enjoy the sandwiches, think the sandwich class could be improved.

We got sandwiches to go as well as locally baked cookies. I tried the recommendation for a vegetarian sandwich. It was nice and crusty and had some good flavor. I might create my own next time, but theirs was good and had lots of flavor! My friend was new to Indianapolis and really liked the options. She said she would be back and so will we. Don't just pop them in the fridge. Then, we went inside the store and grabbed a cantaloupe and some hard cider. The strawberry hard cider was perfection. It was like drinking a fresh strawberry. One of the best ciders I've had - top 3, easy! He said the cantaloupe was great, too! I grabbed a few stickers for my scrapbook and a magnet for his fridge at the little store in the porch.
