I came across this store by fluke at one of my business trips few years ago. My first impression…read morebeing an outlet store, it was clean and organized. Love the Le Creuset products. At every trip to Indianapolis (maybe 5 times per year), I have made it a custom to stop by even if I have 10mins to look around. I have always good stuff and GREAT deals! I have never left empty handed, always end up buying stuff at each trip. At this store not only do they have a vast variety of products but their customer is the BEST. I have mainly worked with Justin. He goes above and beyond to help you find the right product and right deal. He is great at follow-thru and reaching out to his customers. If you are looking for old school mentality (customer first) with great customer service, he is the guy! He takes his time explaining any product and is very knowledgeable with Le Creuset products. He never makes you feel rushed to make a decision and has also stayed after hrs to help me with my purchases. I highly recommend both the store and Justin for any Le Creuset products, trust me, you will not leave empty handed from this store.

Oh, I think I'm in trouble. I bought my first piece of Polish pottery bakeware (a quiche dish) and…read morenow I'm hooked on Polish pottery. I need (yes, need) more Polish pottery in my life. It's beautiful, it's oven safe, it's dishwasher safe, it's microwave safe, and ... have I mentioned that it's beautiful? Each and every piece is something that you'd want to use every day, but also use when you serve guests (and I can guarantee your guests will compliment you on your pottery). It's just lovely. I had a hard time picking out a piece to buy myself: At this store that's located in Carmel's City Center, there are platters, dishes, bakeware for muffins and loaves, pie plates, ornaments, tasting spoons and cups, mugs and more. And every single piece can be used in the microwave/dishwasher/oven. I love pretty things that you don't have to worry about ruining! This pottery is hearty and will last a long time, and the prices reflect that quality. For instance, the small quiche dish that I bought was around $35. But this truly is a piece of functional pottery that will last a lifetime, and can be passed on to others. Out of the Blue has been in Carmel about two years, and they typically have a booth at the Carmel Christkindlmarkt (although since the market won't be happening this year, they obviously won't be there). So this is the only store of its kind in Hamilton County. If you love beautiful pottery and baking/cooking in it, I suggest checking out this place.

They have a great selection. I highly recommend this store. I went in for 1 piece and left with 4. I'm a collector so this place is definitely dangerous. :) They are traditionally at the Carmel Christmas Market too.

The staff that was there when I visited was pretty young, which could explain the laid back vibe--but they were all very nice, helpful, and super knowledgeable, which was awesome. Starting with the not so great: - A downside to this particular place is that instead of choosing different scents to mix, they already have them pre-mixed. For example, champagne and clean linen scents are already combined, rather than letting you choose and mix them yourself. Since it's structured this way, it does speed up the process, but I will say there are still a few pre-mixed scents you can mix together that would probably turn out smelling great. - When I went to pick up my candle a few days later, I was disappointed to find that it was damaged. Not sure how it happened, but I was shocked when I unwrapped it to discover it was chipped. Even more disappointing was that the staff wrapped a damaged item without mentioning it to me. On the positive side: - It's BYO food and drinks, which we loved. My friends and I brought a bottle of prosecco, charcuterie, and quiche to enjoy. Our server let us eat, drink, and chat before starting the candle pouring, which was perfect for catching up! - Parking is easy - Gorgeous vessels to choose from - Reasonably priced They also have a little gift shop with an assortment of trinkets!
