Stopped by here around 3:00pm on a Saturday. They were not busy...which was lovely! Service was fast and attentive and friendly. Nick was helpful and detailed in guiding us with the menu and beer choices. The ambiance is perfect. Causal and open for games and socializing. I love that they have high seating, low seating and comfortable seating. They also have outdoor seating with wooden benches and an awning for a warmer day. We stayed inside due to cooler weather. I ordered the Korean bowl with chicken which was phenomenal! The sauce and spices were absolutely delish and the textures were awesome! I would highly recommend! The beers were decent as well and they have good options. Sadly they were out of a sour beer (day before) but they have everything from sours, IPAs to stouts. Definitely worth a visit! Atmosphere: it's open, clean, and has lots of places to sit. They also have tons of games (seriously like every game you can think of) which is so fun and you can bring your kiddos! They also have TVs where you can catch the games! Food/drinks: I did not try any of the food here, but we went during their cereal beer event and so I tried two of those and a few different beers in a flight. I'm not a huge beer person anymore - just makes me feel so full. However, the cereal beers were good and really fun! I enjoyed them. They also have cider and wine for people who don't want to drink beer and root beer floats for kids! Service: everyone was really great. The beer is good but skip the food. We ordered a pretzel and a pulled pork sandwich. The bun on the sandwich was so stale it was inedible - Totally rock hard. The pretzel was also pretty stale tasting. Overall pretty disappointing meal, especially for how pricy it was. read more

Such a hidden gem at the end of Garland. Modern, light, airy, plants everywhere. Lots of places to sit and socialize while having a beer with friends. There's parking right outside, or it's a short walk to some bigger lots. They have a rotating menu with something for everyone. Including the littles, with root beer made in house. There's kombucha for those who don't drink as well. From porters, lagers, stouts, sours, ales, and IPAs, you'll find something to love here. I'm not a beer drinker so I appreciate that they have cider on tap that's delicious and refreshing. This is also hands down my favorite place to do trivia - great questions, the host is fun and doesn't take too long talking and is pretty quick in between rounds. Also, trivia starts at 6:30 and ends around 8:30 so it's somewhat early for those of us who have early bed times. Of to the side they have a ton of games you can use if you're into board games (I mean hundreds). 10/10 highly recommend read more

Lots of fun exploring parts of Spokane I never have been to checking out all the different breweries the city has to offer! Garland Brew Werks just one of these kinds of stops. For this brewery we purchased two different beers here. One was the Idaho Gem IPA. I was luke warm to this particular IPA unfortunately and didn't find it too memorable. But things really turned around when I had Garland's Lado Norte. Wow, that was a good Mexican lager. Of course I'm extremely biased towards this particular lager and more than I care to admit more picky about them than I think. This lager went down so smoothly it is so easy to have more than one! With it's slightly nutty aspect in flavor it truly won me over! read more

The cutest little neighborhood bar and the perfect addition to the Garland district. Their beers are always on point - we love going for their rotating Firkin Fridays before or after a movie at the Garland Theater. Awesome place, great environment and a real comfortable feel at this place. We discovered it two weeks ago and we've been there twice now and we just love everything about this place. It's got a great feeling, each beer tastes better than the last one we tried and I'm really starting to dream about their beer at night! Haha On Sundays there is a guy Nick who is just the coolest dude out there. He plays interesting music on vinyl and brings back memories of our childhood with the old music and we just have a great conversation every time with this guy. He really helps with the entire welcoming mood of the place. We couldn't ask for better at Garland Brew werks And this is going to be a regular stop for us from now on. read more

Just what the Garland District needed. A great brewery with friendly service. The former owners of Community Pint have taken on another adventure. Instead of serving up tasty beer made by other breweries, they now serve their own tasty beer along with a couple of guest taps. Oh, they also have homemade root beer. Their food menu currently consists of different flatbreads, brats, and other pub snacks. I really liked the Kona Coffee Stout and am looking forward to trying their other beers. They had some IPS's, a sour, and a Kolsh on tap as well when I was there. Their beer is brewed on site. Owners are very friendly and their enthusiasm for the business really shows. There is a small parking lot out front, but there is plenty of street parking. They are also kid firendly. read more

Okay food, but over priced for quantity. Okay beer. Okay ambiance. Empty mid afternoon on a Saturday.

GBW is a great community brew pub. The kitchen has some really great meals and also some awesome smaller items. I love the Korean Rice Bowl. I get it almost every time I'm in the pub for dinner. The wrap is really good too. It has a little kick but not overly spicy. Recently the game corner has been upgraded a ton. I think they have over 100 games now from group games to more intense "gamer" games. A review of a brew pub wouldn't be complete without a review of the beer. Adam Boyd the Brew Master is a genius brewer. I'm pretty picky about what I do and don't like but I did some of the flights and can't find a beer I didn't like. obviously there are more favorites. I'm partial to the Pavilion Hazy and his Stout. The weekly Firkin that he does on Firkin Friday is a ton of fun to watch him tap the little keg by hand and taste a variation on one of the beers they serve on tap. I'm planning to be a regular at Firkin Friday as often as I can. Highly recommend!! read more

Had a flight of their 5 IPAs and all were delish, but hard to beat the OG. Sampled multiple items on the Halloween inspired menu. All were hits. Haven't had a flat bread here that I haven't loved. Great people, great service, great food and most importantly, GREAT beer. read more
