Have a lot of different types of beer from light to porter/stout depending on your preference which is also appreciated as I feel a lot of places in the winter still don't have a dark beer when you are looking for one. Turning over as many stones as I could on my recent trip to the Spokane and Couer d'Alene areas for breweries Post Falls which is right in between the two cities was not left untouched by my presence. I had one beer on tap and took a crowler of it home for their Cheap Prick pilsner. I do like these "cheap" inspirations going off of Budweiser or Coors from smaller breweries because their versions are almost always better than what the original source material is from. Flavor features that you can expect from this very refreshing pilsner is crispness and clean. Malty and sweet(but not sugary) and smooth going down. Hops that go into this beer are Saaz Hops which makes the beer a good drinking experience. Taproom is pretty cool as it's close to downtown and fairly spacious. read more

Okay.....cool venue, modern building, and the first two artists on the playlist were Ice Cube and Beastie Boys, followed by some grunge. Great start. Positive vibes, mixed crowd. Bellied up to the bar and there was quite the selection of beer. Ordered a flight and was super happy drinking their offerings while striking conversation on the right with a couple from Hawaii about to be married in 4 days and a couple to the left that relocated from north of Seattle. Discount deals on certain days and live music in the summer, combined with a food trailer out back. Solid 4.6 for what it is! read more

Post Falls Brewing, PFBC, is brewery number 189 for me. Yep, closing in on 200 unique brewery visits. PFBC has a really nice tasting room with large roll up doors that let in lots of light and in summer weather would really open up the space. I normally review each beer as I go but didn't this time since we were meeting up with friends. I'll be honest, you are not as important as the people I'm drinking with. Unless we are drinking together, then you are important. You want to be important? Buy me a beer! I did get a flight including Crush-a-lot, the pineapple mango shandy, and Unchecked Aggression. I also included a blonde ale and the Dark Horse stout. I enjoyed all of the beers! The shandy was a bit of a surprise as I don't usually love those but this one was good. Unchecked Aggression which I admittedly ordered just because of the name, was also very good. SWPFTD went with the Whole Lotta Rosie amber which we both thought was a great amber ale. There is a solid pizza trailer that looks like it is pretty permanent outside. Pi-daho had excellent pizza so I highly recommend a pizza to go with your beer. SWPFTD and I will definitely be back to PFBC. Slid in here early on a weekday afternoon. The place was fairly busy, but we scored a table. This is a good sized space with indoor and outdoor tables. Kids and dogs are welcome also. As per usual, a new brewery experience required tasting all of their selections. Our waitress didn't think I was serious and commented that a lot of people joke about a "full" flight, but few actually order it. Little did I know it was 15 four oz pours. Thankfully I had a back-up taster with me. PFB offers a bunch of beers, but also a few ciders and an alcoholic sparkling water. The brewer here obviously read my mind. Heavy with the German and west coast selections and light on the dark beers. He or she really knows how to make hops shine, but keep the beer well balanced. I was really happy to drink a couple of beers that got back to the piney flavors and toned down the big fruit flavors so popular today. Our server was awesome! The brewery filled up quickly as 5 pm approached. She was the only visible employee and never missed a beat. No food on site. I did see a food truck in the lot, but it was not open. We were in PF from Hayden and thought we'd try this place again. The food truck that supplied food was rude and slow. Service from the brewery was sparse. Another patron's lewd acts as I was walking back to my table with my 2 year old granddaughter was unexpected and uncalled for. Trying to get our check was a challenge. We love Post Falls Brewing! Ambiance is great, and the atmosphere is wonderful! Service is spot on, and they are generally quick. My only reason for the 4 star review is due to parking and food. Parking is not great. Only like 5-6 spots on the side of the building, otherwise you have to park on the street and that's very difficult to find. They do have food trucks(Pi-daho and a panini truck some nights) serving food, however, for a brewery this place would be 10x better if they served food from the brewery itself! read more

Love all the garage door windows that are open to let in the fresh September air! Lots of natural light, great rustic wood look. This new brewery was on my dad's radar so we had to come try it. They don't have food but you can get free popcorn or buy some chips if you want. They also have canned pop for the non drinkers. This place is all about the microbrews. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and they keep the large garage style doors open while they are operating. It was hot in the sun the day we were there and all the shady tables were taken, so i say in the sun. We ordered a flight of five beers to try. After tasting we ordered glasses of the cider and the hefe. I personally like hard ciders so this one suited me well. The staff was friendly and helpful with the selections, tasting, and choosing. They were busy every day when they were open as they are located on a main thoroughfare in Post Falls with lots of exposure. read more

Came here after our long road trip to visit family and stay a day in the Ramada Inn down the street. I've been to a few breweries and this one was by far the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest one I've been to. The staff is great and polite. They give great recommendations and suggested we get a Blueberry Sour beer and then a Pineapple beer. I've never had fruity beer but these were delicious. Ordered food from a pizza station outside with a side of nachos and all was good. Recommend to anyone who wants a nice brewery to go to and have a nice glass of beer during the summer. read more

Beer was okay, but service was terrible and rude from the second we walked in. Should have taken the hint. Our group of 5 sat with empty glasses for 10+ min more than once and we weren't chugging them down quickly by any means. In addition, WHY would a bar have a table top that slopes downward out toward each side?? One of our glasses slid off (on it's own) and we received a very rude response from the tall blonde bartender about needing to use a coaster. Great, no problem! Why weren't we informed of that when we were served? I surely didn't want my beer on the floor on purpose? The poor experience combined with the huge "No firearms" sticker on the door- we likely won't return. Bummer since we live in the area. read more

We visit a lot of breweries, when we visit a new town it is one of the first things we look up and plan into our visit. This one was just so so.... we did enjoy the coffee catalyst and the pineapple wheat beer, but we werenot blown away by the atmosphere, the service, or the beers in comparrison to other breweries we have been to.
