Check in was nice and easy. We had booked a larger room with 2 queen beds and that was what we were given. The room was nice and comfortable. They have a nice gym on the first floor. They have wipes to clean up the equipment before and after you exercise. They had ellipticals, bikes and treadmills. No weight training machines, just dumbbells. They have enough equipment for you to stay in shape. Breakfast is served downstairs with the usual Bonvoy offerings. They have their normal eggs, breads, coffee, etc. They offer their guests free car charging for electric vehicles. It took almost 4 hours (normal) to charge my rental plug in hybrid minivan so that I could drive an additional 31 one miles on electric. The Residence Inn is a good hotel. It is an older property. But, they got the job done and gave me a good nights rest.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. This is a large property with two hotel towers, multiple elevator banks, a sizable ballroom, numerous meeting rooms, and an amphitheater, all located on the ground level. The facilities felt modern and well-maintained. As part of the conference, I had both breakfast and lunch at the hotel. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, and beverages, while lunch featured a sandwich and salad bar along with cookies for dessert. There is also an outdoor pool and hot tub, which I did not visit, as well as a well-equipped fitness center. The gym was one of the better hotel gyms I have used, with multiple treadmills, a Peloton bike, ellipticals, stair steppers, weight machines, dumbbells up to 50 pounds, kettlebells, and foam rollers. My room was spacious and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was good-sized, and the shower that had good water pressure. The room also had a couch and a walk-in closet. The hotel is in downtown Provo, within walking distance of several restaurants, cafes, and bars. I departed from Provo Airport, which is only about a 10-minute drive from the hotel and much more convenient than returning to Salt Lake City. Overall, this was a very good conference hotel and a comfortable place to stay. I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to both business and leisure travelers visiting Provo.

I was not comfortable doing that so I am obviously very uncomfortable that it was taken down when it is all true and there is actually so much more that I could include. "This is a fantastic place to hang out if you're comfortable repeatedly hearing racial slurs, derogatory language about lgbtq people, want to be attacked for your gender and whether or not you're fulfilling your roles as a wife and mother, etc. My husband joined this lodge nearly 9 years ago and it was a wonderful place to find community at the time but now every time we are there, there is someone else ranting about politics in the social quarters, using foul language and all around spouting disgusting opinions that they can't handle being reminded are against the rules and their oaths of membership. Not to mention you may end up in the hospital due to the constant overserving of liquor by the bartenders who also can't handle being told what's against the law and their licenses that they hold. The ER came up to my husband and I on April 18th and used the N word in conversation more than 5 times, insulted gay people, told me it was my job to give my husband more babies, and made perverted comments about an underage nephew of his own. This is just one instance out of many that will keep my family and many of our friends FAR AWAY from this lodge. No one does anything to stop it and when we used the proper channels to complain we were pressured to let it be swept under the rug. Disgusting behavior from multiple levels of management and appointed officers of the lodge."

We were traveling cross-country on a budget to visit our daughter and booked a room at Sleep Inn on January 21, 2026, using Priceline's Pay Later option for a total cost of $93.79. Our experience at the hotel was frustrating and disappointing. Unlike our previous stay at Motel 6, which was fully paid through Priceline without issue, Sleep Inn unexpectedly charged my credit card upon arrival. The front desk clerk said he would charge the $93.79 Priceline price but also placed a $50 hold for incidentals, which he said would be released within 7-10 days if there were no problems. He did not provide a receipt when I asked. Later, I checked my bank account and saw two charges: $143.79 and $50. When I went back to the front desk to clarify, asking for a receipt the clerk said the receipt would be given at checkout. An hour later, a third charge for $93.79 appeared on my account. In total, there were three holds that significantly reduced my available balance and caused me considerable worry during travel. I am still waiting for the charges to clear up, but this unclear billing process and lack of communication is unacceptable--especially for travelers on a tight budget and seniors like us. I urge SleepInn and Priceline to improve transparency and ensure their billing policies are clear to avoid causing such confusion and financial strain. Travelers, particularly those who are elderly or disabled, should be cautious when booking here. Overall, I cannot recommend SleepInn based on this experience due to poor communication and confusing payment handling.

And I mean huge, about the size of a half dollar. I don't know where it came from but it's dead now. Of all the hotels Iv been in, this is the first for me.
