Dan is a creative, caring, and communicative business owner. His team, led by Seth, was an absolute pleasure to work with - they did a truly fantastic job and were so nice and helpful throughout. After they were done, we had a small issue with drainage (because right after they laid down the patio, there were torrential downpours for days, not allowing our pavers to settle). I'm not kidding when I say within five minutes of emailing Dan on a Friday evening to let him know, he called us to say he and Seth were coming over right away to take a look. Because of continued bad weather, they had to come back a few times over the next few weeks to make sure everything was good. Yes, they made our patio a little slice of heaven, but we were actually the most impressed with their post-project attentiveness and customer-focused desire to make everything right. Didn't complete the whole job as discussed. Didn't double check with me on certain things or ask if I was satisfied. This is not an organized, proactive, customer-focused company; they just want your money. Spend it on another company who has time for you, communicates with you, and genuinely wants to make you happy.

Would grade as follows: Stonework - A Price - D+ Timeliness - F- Creativity - D Landscaping Preparation - F- Had to pay extra for items that really should have been included in the base bid, and never received some of them. Job was a year late and we were filling the new pool in late November (which you have to keep running for 30 days so it will cure) because they never devoted more than two or three people to, what for us, is a major project. Had to pay extra to have sod and topsoil installed and when it all died, had someone else come in to look at who told us was basically laid on soil compacted as hard as cement and without topsoil (paid for but apparently never delivered) there was no chance it could survive. We'll be dealing with that for years. Your money can be better spent elsewhere.

During the conversation she asks if my budget was 100-200k. Well no one is going to give you 100-200k if you don't follow up with any ideas and if you don't do projects below that don't waste my and your time. Just say it up front.

They do beautiful work, their employees are polite, courteous, efficient, willing to help and flexible. They have replaced a deteriorated sidewalk, replaced steps, repaired cracks in walls. When they finish, the work looks beautiful and like new. I would highly recommend them to any person who needs any type of concrete or masonry work done. They are real pros and a pleasure to work with.
