NO MORE MIGRAINES!!! After more than TEN years of consistent migraines, I have finally been cured!!! I had gone to several doctors, optometrists, and allergists, and none of them were able to figure out why I had so many migraines and sinus infections, and why antibiotics couldn't seem to clear up my infections. First the office was conveniently located in midtown east 2 blocks from the train. I walked into the office and I was impressed with the modern décor. The receptionist was very welcoming and warm. I saw Dr. Bennett right on time for my appointment. I could tell from the beginning of our conversation he was going to be a doctor who's help I wanted. He took the time out to listen to all of my concerns and the stories on how my deviated septum occurred as well as my horrible sinus surgery experience. From there he took the time out to explain what went wrong with the first surgery and also what he would be able to do to help. He was very knowledgeable and what I liked most was he explained thing in a way that I understood. Also, his office manager was very helpful with my insurance and billing. They collected all the information they needed from me the first day and made all the appropriate calls to my insurance carrier to learn about my coverage and cost. I went through with the surgery and I was home a couple of hours after the surgery. He set multiple weekly follow-ups to track the progress of my healing process. He would call me while I was recovering to check on me and see how the pain is and if there is anything he can do to help. I really liked the fact of how caring he was. This is the REAL DEAL! I recovered in about 7-10 days and went back to all my normal daily routines. I immediately felt a difference in the quality of my life. I started to breather so much better, gained a better sense of smell and the appearance of my nose was fixed! i had been suffering with a deviated septum for many years but i never had the nerve to go for a consultation on what to do about it. Finally i made an appointment with a Dr. but when i met with him i wasn't very happy ,so i did some research online and luckily i found Dr. Bennett. I read all his reviews and they were all great so i called and made an appointment to see him. First of all his staff at the office are so nice and accommodating. Kelly and Meagan were so helpful and they made me feel so at ease. Dr. Bennett comes out to greet me and he was so friendly and warm. He is a true professional. He spoke to me like if he knew me all his life. He explained everything to me so clearly and he told me exactly what the whole procedure would involve. He took pics of my nose and showed me on the computer what he would do and what it would look like after surgery. He told me my breathing would improve immensely. Well it is now 3 weeks after surgery and i must tell you that choosing Dr. Bennett was the best decision i ever made. I am the old-fashion type and i never thought i would go thru something like this but having Dr.Bennett there was unbelievable. He is a great surgeon and a great person. He called me the evening after my surgery and the day after to see how i was doing. He was so cordial and attentive on the phone and he really cared about what i had to say and how i felt. Dr. Bennett's office is the best office I have been to by far! I went to his office after getting a referral from a fellow patient of his and am so glad that I did. I had been experiencing several sinus infections and terrible allergies each year. I was in and out of offices for several years with no solution that ever seemed to keep. The sinus infection's kept re-occurring. When scheduling my first appointment, the office staff was extremely friendly and even offered to check my insurance benefits for me to ensure I'd be covered. When I arrived at the office, I was welcomed by the staff with a cheery hello. They create a welcoming and positive environment the moment you enter the door. I felt comfortable and assured that I was in good hands when at Dr. Bennett's office. I knew that I was being taken care of by people that truly wanted to help. I was born with a deviated septum and have never been able to breath very well. The problem got a lot worse in my late 20's, to the point where I could barely sleep anymore. I finally said enough is enough and gathered up the courage to fix it. As it turns out, going to Dr. Bennett was *literally* one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. Let's start with the surgery itself (deviated septum correction, very minor rhinoplasty). First off, I can finally breathe (I'd say my airflow went from 10% to 90%.)! I had a really hard time sleeping, I was always tired, my colds would last 2+ weeks, and more. ALL of those problems disappeared and it's only been a few months since my surgery. Second, my nose looks great! It's almost perfectly straight now (it was fairly crooked before, which was part of my deviated septum problem) and the minor rhinoplasty work I had done -- a slight reduction of my dorsal hump -- looks completely natural. Overall I look exactly like I used to, just more symmetrical. As far as Dr. Bennett goes, I couldn't be happier. Super knowledgeable, didn't push push additional cosmetic surgery on me like a previous Dr. did, and made himself available 24/7 to me. Dr. Bennett is an excellent doctor! I had a deviated septum for about 3 years. I had sinus surgery 2 years ago by an ENT specialist and it did not completely fix my breathing. I was referred to Dr. Bennett by a friend. He was great from the first consultation. I was very nervous and worried about having a second surgery to correct my breathing problem. He was compassionate, addressed my issue and took the time to explain everything so I can understand it. The big difference between Dr. Bennett and the other ENT specialist I went to is Dr. Bennett took the time to get to know me personally and treated me with respect by listening to all of my concerns. For a few years I wasn't able to breathe correctly and would get many sinus infections which started to annoy me. I decided to do something about it and happen to come across Dr Garrett Bennett whom has awesome reviews. Getting surgery done by him was the smartest and best decision I have ever made! I came down with a cold and was desperate to be seen. I was referred to Dr. Garrett's office and received the very best treatment I could possibly ask for. Not only did they accommodate my appointment, made late and at the last minute, but the entire staff greeted me with smiles, open arms, and a sincere interest in my well-being. Prior to being seen, there was an issue with my insurance. Dr. Garrett's staff sat with me, allowed me to use their Internet to contact my provider, and went so far as to answer complex benefits questions I would have never known the real answers to. Doctor Bennett changed my life! I'm 23 & over the last few years my sinus congestion, headaches, and sleeping pattern was getting worse. He was referred to me by a coworker and I feel blessed to have found him. I already knew that I had a deviated septum and was afraid of surgery but Dr. Bennett was so patient, kind and knowledgeable that I felt very confident he would do an amazing job. I had septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and he cleared all my sinus buildup. In the 2 weeks after surgery we spoke on the phone all the time. I didn't feel alone even for a second. For my second post op I had to visit another doctor and she was so impressed with his work given the before photos and cat scans. I'm now 4 months out post surgery and I couldn't be happier with the results! I breathe so much better and haven't gotten sick ONCE this Spring/Summer season... which is typically the worst time for me. Ten years ago, I had rhinoplasty done with an awful plastic surgeon who left my septum just as deviated it was before and did not enhance the appearance much at all. I was extremely hesitant to leave my face in the hands of another surgeon but after 10 years of waiting and thorough research, I felt confident that Dr. Bennett could fix my septum and the appearance of my crooked nose. Our first consultation was an hour long; he really took his time to answer my questions and calm my nerves. I scheduled my surgery with confidence. Any questions I had leading up to the surgery were answered by the doctor or his lovely staff. Everyone at the surgical center was great. Post-surgery I felt great. I had minimal bruising, and really enjoyed not having had my nose packed, as I did in my first surgery. The doctor called every day to check on me until I met with him 6 days later. Three weeks later I'm feeling amazing! My septum has been fixed and my breathing is awesome. My nose looks so much better. It's not the typical nose you get from just a plastic surgeon; its a fine-tuned version of my old nose. Frustrated with the increasingly prominent puffiness and sagging around my eyelids, I went to Dr. Bennett for a consultation in November 2009 after he was recommended to me by a friend. I was terrified of getting surgery, especially on my face. But I couldnt breathe through the right side of my nose anymore and it was really annoying. My experience could not have been any better. The staff in the office is very welcoming, polite and friendly. My appointment time was at the time i was scheduled for, when Dr. Bennett came out to greet me, we sat down in his office and was super informative, professional and very relatable. I have had experiences where Doctor's are "not ppl friendly" strictly business which is fine, however, I need to feel comfortable and relaxed. I did not feel rushed, he answered all my questions and my husbands questions, took his time to evaluate my nose and explained to me what can be done, he took pictures and then showed me what the outcome will be.
