This place is fantastic! The staff is courteous and eager to ensure a positive experience for all their patrons. Our waitress brought over two samples of a cranberry scone from a local bakery for us to try while we waited for our food. This was the beginning of a perfectly lovely breakfast after a long hike in the Metroparks. The sweet crepes were delicate and delicious. The breakfast burrito was packed with flavors and I can't wait to go back again! Don't pass this place by. I was born and raised in CFO and had several choices in "the old days," but recently upon periodic returns from Packerland and Chicago (still a Browns fan, btw)have not found a good breakfast anywhere around the entire Hudson-Akron Area. It's all about service folks! We were greeted at the door (nice, warm touch) then waited forever it seemed to get a seat. Again, it took them forever to take our order and serve us. All this time the had someone dedicated to walking around and resetting tables. Not impressed with their service at all. The food was ok; average at best. read more

The environment was very nice and bubbly. The food was all right. The food looked nothing like it was on Restaurant Impossible show. We had to complain about one of our meals but the waitress kindly took our constructive criticism and brought us another meal which was much better. Really good food at a reasonable price. I'm huge on breakfast food and they definitely do a great job of it here. I have not tried their lunch yet but the specials sound really good. The pancakes are the best I've had around here.. Crispy edges but nice, fluffy and light middles. Also I have to say the breakfast sausage was really good and I'm a little picky about that. Very nice staff and owner! Service was fast and food was fresh. If you have not tried them out you should! I hope other yelpers come and support them so they stay around for a long time. Went in for my roommates birthday looking for some good breakfast food, and we were not disappointed! I had French toast and he had crepes, everything was fresh and the scone you get at the beginning are amazing. Everything was light too, it didn't sit heavy in our stomachs at all. I had a side of bacon that was perfectly crisp, and from our view point we could watch the owner/cook make pancakes and they really just might be the best around (definitely something we are going to try next time). read more

Garrett's Mill Diner is absolutely wonderful. Their food is absolutely delicious and the staff and owner genuinely care about their patrons. The owner has been there the times I've been there, cooking up food and talking with patrons to make sure they're enjoying their experience. We came in over the holidays with a large group....parents, siblings and grandkids. They made room for us and told us about their family style breakfast. We took advantage and it was perfect. The food kept coming, the kids were happy, and so were the adults. All the while, the staff was making sure we had what we needed and were kind. They didn't act put out when we came in with a large group. They just made room as seats got up and treated us very well. In general, the staff and owner are gracious, kind, courteous and create a real family environment. And....their food is DELICIOUS! It's home cooking away from home. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've had. They have great options and deliver for the taste buds. I will continue to support this establishment for their food and hospitality. Went for the first time for breakfast with my fiancé and two kids. No wait, excellent friendly staff and good sized breakfast portions.

Really good coffee, and the steak and eggs was the best I've had since I can't remember when. The owner made sure my steak was done to perfection and the waitress never let my coffee cup get empty. The food was wonderful, the service was amazing, and the people were a joy to meet and chat with. I plan to be back soon and often. read more

My grandmother and I were looking for a new place to eat breakfast and we found this place. As we walked to the door, the owner came and opened it for us. Apparently they were closed that day. He could have said, I am so sorry but we are closed today-and we would have gone somewhere else. But, he still invited us in and served us whatever we wanted. He was over the top nice and kind to us and acted as if it was no trouble to make waffles, eggs, sausage, or coffee (even without anyone else there)! Well, Yelp told me this place was good and Stow is desperately in need of a good breakfast place as the Cafe just doesn't cut it. Good news, our meal was great! It wasn't the sort of meal that drives me to want to wax philosophical about the taste but everything was done incredibly well and tasted good. Bacon was crisp without asking, potatoes crispy on one side, waffle crisp on outside and soft flavorful inside. All good. Service was a bit slow as the restaurant was nearly full, but not too much longer than you would expect from, say, a Bob Evans at rush. Interior is very simple but clean, but that's not what this place is about, it's about good food and service. Definitely will be back. read more

Not good. My toast was rubbery like micro waved no toasted crunch eggs were burnt on edges and yolk cooked hard. The worst home fries ever 31$ for 3 people and 2 drank ice water ordered a full stack pancakes the bottom pancake was broken in 4 pieces and hid under the top 2. Never been served broken pancake pieces. Stay away!!! read more

We read that this place was great and decided to give it a try. It was small and kind of run down but usually those can be the hidden gems. My wife and I walked in and waited about 5 minutes to be seated. We actually ordered and received our drinks almost instantly. As we waited to order food, we noticed they had 3 people cooking, 1 cleaning and 1 (the owner) waiting. They probably could have allocated people differently. We waited 20 minutes without our order being taken. 3 tables that were sat after us had their order taken while we watched and waited. We finally decided it was time to leave. I looked at the owner and said we're leaving and he just said ok as if our business didn't matter to him. This might be the poorest run place I've been to and this owner obviously doesn't care about his business standards. I will never go back and will make sure to tell everyone I know what a hot mess this place is. Even if their food is great there is no excusing the horrendous service. read more
