Garrison's provided the compassion and care we needed going out of their way to assist us. I had taken our 19 yo dachshund hound to be euthanized at his life long vets and spent over 2 hours in the office while they had our poor dog in the back attempting to establish an IV. In the end they returned our dog and suggested we take him to the after hours vet 4 hrs later when they opened. We left with Ozzy looking like a pin cushion and in more distress than when he arrived. Upon calling Garrison's, they listened to our situation and had us come right in. They compassionately explained the process and handled our dog with loving care. They painless ended his suffering while we cradled him and allowed us all the time we needed prior to assuring we had all we needed when we left. Garrison's staff were the angles we needed during this difficult time.

Last week we took a 13 week old puppy here after he showed signs of sickness the prior weekend. Dr. Jones decided that it was best to only treat symptoms of nausea & not actually take a moment to figure out what the problem was. Turns out the puppy had the Parvo virus & ended up dying days after. I do completely hold them accountable because if they simply cared they would have done bloodwork & our puppy may have had a fighting chance if caught early on. After trying to speak with them, the doctors & office manager basically refused to take or return my calls. The vet tech & receptionist both admitted the bloodword was never completed & still refused to return the dirty & dishonest money that they collected. I was also informed that Dr. Jones "retired" shortly after our puppy was seen so that's both convenient & sketchy. The receptionist expressed that she wished we had ended up seeing a different doctor for things to possibly have turned out differently. You & your pet deserve so much better than this practice can even attempt to provide. They lack basic medical skill, professionalism, compassion, honesty, & empathy. They have been reported to proper authorities.

Now I can confidently say he's not just the best in the area -- he's the best in Florida. Even after moving to Orlando and being three hours away, I still only see him. Recently, my 11-year-old dog P. with heart and kidney failure developed facial swelling from an inflamed tooth. I was forced to take her to a local clinic, where I was quickly presented with multiple recommendations -- bloodwork, anesthesia, cardiology referrals, and specialty appointments totalizing thousands of dollars. With a fragile senior dog who cannot safely undergo surgery, this felt overwhelming. I left with antibiotics and immediately scheduled an appointment with Dr. Campos. The next day, I drove three hours to see Dr Campos. He examined P. thoroughly, considered her full medical history, and handled the issue right there in the office -- no pressure, no unnecessary add-ons. That is the difference. Dr. Campos practices with integrity and sound judgment, thinking about safety and quality of life first. I will always make the drive for him and his incredible team -- Ryan, Tonya, Katie, and Angelei -- who are caring, responsive, and truly exceptional. Forever grateful for a clinic that practices medicine with heart.

We returned on 5/8 because his condition appeared to be worsening. After spinal and hind-end X-rays were taken, we were told he had a leg injury along with VDD. Once again, we were instructed to continue medication and bed rest at home. From 5/8 through 5/25, our dog experienced both good and bad days, which we believed could be expected given the diagnosis. However, yesterday we decided to seek a second opinion because his condition had become significantly worse. Within the first ten minutes of the physical examination, the new veterinarian discovered a lump along his spine and requested that we obtain the X-rays previously taken by VCA. After reviewing those X-rays, we learned that our dog had a tumor pressing against his spine, which was causing neurological complications and other serious issues. Unfortunately, due to the severity and terminal nature of the condition, we were left with the heartbreaking decision to euthanize him. We understand that veterinarians are human and mistakes can happen. However, it is deeply concerning that multiple professionals evaluated our dog and this critical issue was overlooked. Had we not pursued a second opinion, our dog would have continued to suffer unnecessarily.
