Dr. Barker is the best urologist that anyone can go to. He's a wonderful doctor and man of God. He truly has been a blessing in my life.

The doctor, Ken Takesita was outstanding (although slightly inexperience with female urology) and…read moredeserves 4 stars. He went out of his way to help me and diagnose me including doing a cystoscopy without approval from my insurance and without charging me. I would have returned to him for further necessary visits, if it were not for the staff. The staff is enormously incompetent, disrespectful and rude. The staff clearly has their own thing going on where they enjoy toying with patients. I was in massive pain, (shaking and vomiting from the pain) and they created every kind of barrier that they could find to keep me from getting what I needed. Nurse Maria is so incompetent that she couldn't even complete an in-house urinalysis or get my urine sample to the labs properly. When we called to check on the status of my labs, she blamed the lab for her incompetence. When we asked for the lab's name and phone number, she refused to divulge the information and then diverted and deflected the conversation into insults. Nurse Maria said things to me like, "The doctor didn't say you have a UTI so I wouldn't take antibiotics if you don't have an infection." And, "Why would you ask for a lab to be done that based on your insurance you obviously can't afford to pay for?" Why did the doctor refer me to an I.D. specialist if I don't have an infection and prescribe antibiotic and give me a Rocephin shot? Why is she giving me instructions that the doctor did not tell her to give to me? Also, I never asked for a lab that I had to pay for; the doctor volunteered to send my sample in for a more sensitive lab test. But since she's too incompetent to collect urine properly and send it to the lab or even do an in-house urinalysis, it doesn't matter if I need to pay for it or not. I do not believe that she sent the urine to the labs. Yolanda, the Office Manager, kept telling us that she is too busy and down a person and have clinic and a number of other excuses as to why she couldn't send the referral immediately and that, "I will get to it when I get to it. Go to the ER if you're in pain." When I told her that she has no place giving me medical advice and that I've already been to the ER, she repeated, that's your choice, I will get to it when I get to it, maybe today, maybe Monday." She kept saying that maybe my primary care can get it faster. When I talked to my primary care, they said it had already been submitted three days prior by Mission Urology and that they are not the ones doing the referring so it is not them that submits it, it is the urologist referring so they submit it. It takes about 15 seconds to submit a referral, I've seen my other doctors do it. Nice games, nice run-around. Furthermore, I told Yolanda which I.D. doctor I wanted to see and tried to give her the contact information and she refused to put a doctor on the order and kept saying the insurance will choose a doctor for me. This is lie. I contacted my insurance company and told them what was happening, and they told me to call her back and insist she write the information on the request because that is not how things are done and if she still refuses, to file a grievance. Although I told her that I spoke with my insurance...and that all the other referrals that I have gotten have been done that way...she still refused to send it in with the proper information. Additionally, I left 3 messages for the doctor with Yolanda and never heard back from the doctor. I do not blame the doctor, as I'm sure that she never passed the messages along. I sent an email with some questions because I suspected as much, and her rude response is attached below. I can't remember the name of the other office member, but she was unapologetic and also making excuses. Too bad for the doctor, I believe he has no idea how manipulative and conniving his staff is. These are the types of people who steal personal information and embezzle from employers. I'm very concerned about them having access to my personal information.

I called the office to get the correct information and no one would answer the phone. I finally got some help from a local man and I got to my appointment a half hour late. Their office contacted my medical group, St. Mary's Medical Group up here, and my medical group didn't respond. I tried calling several times. So now I am out, no where to go because some bitch in an office for her nose in a joint. l guess they didn't need business is they can turn down my surgery, even after I signed up with a new doctor (had to sign up with a new doctor with the insurance which took effect Jan 1st, and by Feb 20th, my new primary care was on board and contacting Urologic several times and they didn't respond)

The office was very clean, the staff was incredibly friendly, and they made the whole process easy and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the recovery has been. One week later, I've had almost no pain at all and have been very happy with the results. If you're considering a vasectomy and feeling nervous about the procedure, I would absolutely recommend this office. They made what could have been a stressful experience simple and straightforward.

I work on the weekends and I'm trying to take minimal time off of work. I decided to seek other options even though I would have to be paying out of pocket without going through my health care provider. That's when I found Dr. Benderev. You cannot beat the convenience of scheduling appointments, consultation and follow ups online or through their app. I scheduled my consultation online. I was going to be away on vacation and I was able to schedule the phone consultation while I was on vacation. The phone consultation was quick and to the point, but still very informative and Dr. Benderev answered any questions I had. I uploaded and filled out all the necessary paperwork through the app. Was extremely easy to use and probably took around 15 minutes. I was able to book an appointment online, a few weeks after my consultation, in the morning so I could have the rest of the day to recover. There were appointments available all throughout the day, all during the week. Make sure you give yourself enough time to deal with the typical morning traffic. Parking was plentiful. I parked in the parking structure right next to the Office. Be aware there is an hourly rate for parking after a short grace period (15 or 20 mins). The office is a short walk from the parking structure and I was greeted by the receptionist as soon as I walked in the office. After checking in I was given some Tylenol and didn't have to wait long for Dr. Benderev to greet me in the lobby. The entire procedure only took around 15 minutes. Dr. Benderev made it his priority to make me feel comfortable and explained every step of the procedure as well as some small talk which was a welcome distraction. The only thing I felt was similar to what other reviews described, a light flick when using the no needle anesthesia method. Before I knew it, the procedure was finished and Dr. Benderev was going over the recovery process with me.

I had originally seen a different Urologist from Pomona who would not come to the hospital in early February to help me out when I needed it the most. Sadly, when I met with him 10 days after being in the hospital it was only a consolation. He really did not seem too concerned about the pain I had been going through off and on as he wanted me to go get another ultrasound in two weeks and then another two weeks after that come back to him to see the results and if the issue was still present, we would then schedule for surgery. If Dr. Louie had not fit me in, I would have still been waiting for my procedure if I had have stayed with this other Doctor. Dr. Louie is awesome and I want him to know that I am grateful that he fit me into his schedule to address my issue. When Dr. Louie opens up his new location his new patients will be in good hands. Thank you Dr. Louie and Dr. Dhar!!!

He was very gentle and nice at my first visit. I had overactive bladder and incontingence . Dr.K. Louie did all kind of treatment including Urodynamics and Botox but not success after all. Finally he recommended "RESUME"technick which is the REZUM procedure destroys prostate tissue using heat energy in the form of water vapor(even though he did not have enough experience of RESUME procedure). He started RESUME procedure on 09-12-2019. and I'm still having pain and hard to urinate.I could'nt go to sleep for 3 days(not even a twinkle of eye) I 'd called office because of pain and swelling of bladder right after removed catheter and he was out of town. he even did not prescribe antibiotics and pain pill after procedure. He'd prescribed only "Urinary Pain Relief"(you can buy over the count) I went to ER for twice for bladder swelling and pain(because of dysuria). Because of his negligence I'd been suffered for many months. I was(used to be) also a healthcare provider(that's why I did'nt go to court because I know what it is for him and practice). I have to put catheter almost several months. End of that I had severe "Epididymitis"(huge swelling of scrotum) But I have to let them know and all pertinent patients to know that no other patient should be suffered like me afterward. I'm going to put this on SNS also in future.
