Took the paved circle path around, saw there is a sand pit for volleyball, tennis, etc. Huge barren field next to the dog-specific area. But I love that each section of dog park (large-med-small etc) was lush and huge! Dogs loved it! I quite enjoyed it myself!

Parking is either across the street or along the street. There is one building for bathrooms, a smaller building that is used as a "snack shack" and a play area. The play area has a large slide, some swings and a small slide area for smaller kids. That about sums it up. Not in the greatest area from what I recall. One night swat was in the area and we were pretty frightened by the flash bangs, but the baseball diamonds are pretty legit, so it gets 4 stars.

Visited Centennial Hills Park (dog park area) and honestly had such a great experience from start…read moreto finish. First off...parking was a breeze. There's plenty of it, and it's super close to the dog park, which is always a plus when you've got excited pups ready to go. The park itself is split into a small dog area and a large dog area, and both sides were well maintained. The grass was green and mostly clean, and there were multiple shaded seating areas to relax while keeping an eye on your dog. I really appreciated the water fountains placed around specifically for the dogs, they looked clean and well kept, which isn't always the case at dog parks. There are also lots of trees, so even on warmer days, you can find shade easily. There were easily 15+ dogs there during our visit, and the overall vibe was great. Most of the dogs came over to say hello, and they all appeared healthy, well groomed, and social. No aggressive behavior at all... just the occasional male dog trying to assert dominance, but nothing escalated and owners stayed attentive and in control. That alone says a lot about the type of crowd this park attracts. Speaking of people...everyone we encountered was friendly, respectful, and responsible. It was really nice to see that every dog owner we noticed picked up after their pets. That level of consideration makes a huge difference. Beyond the dog park, the rest of the park was just as lively. The volleyball courts were packed with groups having a good time, and the fields were full of soccer teams ranging from little kids to teens. Even the restroom was well maintained, soap to wash your hands, full rolls of toilet paper, no trash or debris on the floor no floaters in the toilets. The playground was surprisingly not crowded, and it looks like it's been updated....there were no traditional slides, but instead more interactive and physical play structures like climbing ropes, stairs, and obstacle style features that make it fun in a different way. Even the parking lot experience stood out... people were patient, respectful, and courteous. One driver even pulled back into their spot after starting to back out just to let me pass, even though I had paused for them. It's little things like that that really add to the overall experience. All in all, it was an amazing day at the park. The weather was perfect, which definitely helped set the tone, but the cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and thoughtful layout of the park really made it stand out. This is one of those places you'll want to keep coming back to.

There's tall and short slides, swings, lots of obstacle, and even a splash pad. There's two separate playgrounds and two splash pad areas. It's pretty clean and quiet. One of our favorite parks in the area.

The parking lot had a few on the trashcans and we thought that maybe maintenance was low and decided to go onto to the water to take a look. Not even a couple of feet into the park thousands and thousands of roach like bugs on the ground just crawling around. The trees were beyond infested and i think can be a root cause to them being at the park along with the water.

Today marked the beginning of the three day Great American Foodie Festival at Desert Breeze Park…read more Food trucks, gaming booths and music entertained the crowd making for a family friendly event. The numerous food trucks offered a variety of different cuisines, which, included, Tacos, Barbecue, empanadas, Pizza and several others. There were also options to satisfy any sweet cravings. I love baked mussels and saw this both offering both mussels and scallops. I opted for the combination, which, included both mussels and scallops. The mussels were delicious and had great flavor. However, the scallops were very disappointing. They were extremely small, lacked flavor and were covered by some type of noodle, which, made finding the scallops a bit challenging. The festival grounds are well designed allowing for easy flow while walking around. Tomorrow the festival opens at noon and the weather is expected to reach 100 degrees. So, arriving early might be a good idea.

Sunny but windy day. Also, lots of people with dogs. If they pick up their dog's poop, I say Kudos to you. Parking was packed. Due to the Opening of Little League. The Parking Lot was disgusting. I find it disgusting that kids and parents are trashing the lot, as there are lots of trash cans located throughout the Park. There was a bunch of snacks on the ground next to my car, and pigeons were poking at it. This is also where Practices are held. Hubby's the Coach, but this might be the last season fror him, with this group, as they will be aging out. When we were done with lunch we, the parents, played the kids; there were so many of us moms playing, probably the most ever. And a Little League Passerby, screamed in support of the Parents! It was a fun outing. Of course, we had to do cleanup, after the kids.

Cons: The bathrooms are closed and replaced with porta potties, there were several homeless people lounging around throughout and the tennis courts are closed due to construction. Pros: the playground areas were actually clean and worthy of playing on, there's a splash pad, a gated dog park area and best of all they have an awesome/large walking trail which was actually the entire purpose of my visit today. Despite the excessive amount of homeless, I actually look forward to walking the trail, burning calories and getting a really good cardio in.

They turn off the lights around dark times I see but I'll for sure be back! I've been finding parks to run at and feel the breeze outside! I always go to an indoor gym but sometimes I wanna be in nature and see the trees and grass! I love running it's so fun! I love pushing my body and opening up my heart chakras more while running. It's a good thing! Anyways check this place out! It's getting hotter everyday in vegas now! Maybe I'll try to run during the heat but I'll need shorts to run in heat! We'll see!
