Semi clean park with a couple of fields and a small play area. Not the nicest park in vegas but this one is quiet.

I came here today to give this park another chance and today just proves that this park totally…read moresucks. The area for smaller dogs has been closed for over three months. So that leaves me with my only option of grouping my dog with much larger dogs that are 25lbs or more which is dangerous for my tiny 10 pound mini dachshund. In my experience being here a handful of times, I have a found that about half of the owners are careless and do not take responsibility for their pets behavior. My word of caution if you have a small pup anywhere from 6 months to a year old and you want your pup safe just avoid this park. But if you do decide to take your pup to this specific park then I'd suggest you leash them at all times, which kind of defeats the purpose of going to a dog park. This was my experience and sadly at this moment until many things improve, I cannot recommend Kellogg Dog Park.

We found this dog park randomly through an Apple Maps search for "dog parks." Chose this one…read morebecause it seemed the most open and spacious. Turns out it was. Great open space with real grass. Pups enjoyed chasing the birds. There's public park bathrooms nearby which is very convenient if you need to use the bathroom or just if you'd like to wash your hands - there's both soap and water as well as sanitizer. The dog park has several concrete benches throughout the park both in the shade and in the sun. We started in the shade but then it was too chilly so we moved to a nice bench and got some sunshine. It wasn't a busy day. We went on Thanksgiving Day. Several dogs came and left. The few people we met were very friendly and talkative in a neighborly way. Dogs are required to be spayed or neutered and over 4 months of age. A good policy to have for any dog park! There's a spacious large dog side and small dog side. Each has its own poop bag stations and water fountains for pups. Trash cans are abundant throughout the park as well. Overall, it's one of the best dog parks in terms of cleanliness, convenience, spaciousness, and design.

My son loves the splash pad area here and the park is usually never crowded when we go. There's tons of benches and gazebos, perfect for bbq's and picnics. I love that they have real grass here and it's very well kept. I will say the park is in a rough area so it's not uncommon to see a couple of homeless people around but we've never had any issues and they usually are just relaxing and keeping to themselves. Overall this park is a great spot and is literally right in the backyard of spring valley HS. It's super walkable and has a good amount of parking. Will be coming back a lot more for the summer.

Located at the corner of Buffalo and Flamingo…read more We came here yesterday after seeing that Paul Meyer Park was tiny. We came with scooters and a football. Good size parking lot, there are four full lanes of parking, enter on Flamingo. There are three Dog Park runs; don't know what the difference is, but I am guessing one is for smaller dogs, maybe the other is for bigger dogs? There are benches located at various spots. There are blue bollards located at different areas. There is a bathroom in the middle of the park. There are a bunch of trash cans, as well as dog waste bag stations throughout the park, so there's no excuse for garbage or dog poop. There are some spots to hang up your nets, like, volleyball nets. There are signs, like the rules, etc. There are some shaded areas for small parties. There are paved trails as well as dirt trails for walkers. There were two playground areas; one of them we visited, one was for the wee younger ones, and the other part is for bigger children. At the end of our visit, our son went to the one that you can see from the street, just to go on the swings, for a few minutes. This park is massive. We didn't even check out everything. Well, we were on scooters (hubby took some walking laps), and then, we took a break, when we visited the playground, the one that is more towards the neighborhood. One end backs up to the Spring Valley High School. One end is near a residential neighborhood (there is a circular drop-off point for cars). One end faces Flamingo. One end faces the empty lot near Spring Valley High School. Not many people here. Some homeless people, but they don't bother you. Some people with dogs. A few families were also enjoying the nice day. We enjoyed our time here; we threw the football for a while. The last time we were here, it was Covid- era.
