My biggest complaint with Gary Force is the lack of transparency on their website. Other dealers in the area list prices for routine service items like oil changes and tire rotation. Force does not. Even calling the service department resulted in "about" price quotes. Oil change (synthetic) and tire rotation was quoted "about $95" for a 2022 Accord 1.5. Gallatin Honda, a few miles away, offers (on their website) these two services as a combo for $79.95, making it almost 20% less. UPDATE: Hate to overpay. Service was performed as promised, but I will drive to Gallatin to get a fair price, even if it means the additional cost of the drive. read more

I went for an oil change. My car is 2 years old and I thought using the dealer would keep my car in good repair. I brought my own oil to ensure the manufacturer's oil would be used. First I was charged full price and had to bring it to their attention that I brought my own oil. Then when I left I realized they had not attached the under carriage cover. I found screws under the car where they had not been attached. This is the second time this had happened. The first time I had to buy a new cover. It got destroyed before I realized it was dragging the ground. This time I caught it before damage was done. I wont be back. Anyone can make a mistake, but not attaching the car cover in 2 of the 3 last oil changes is ridiculous. Update: So I took it back and to add insult to injury. They told me it was the car wash that caused the problem. I noticed the dragging undercarriage cover BEFORE going into the car wash. I was using bug prep brush in the front of the car and thought I should check since I've had the undercarriage cover not attached before at Gary Force Honda. But, let's give them the benefit of the doubt. They said I had 2 clips missing and it was due to the car wash although I left their establishment 8 minutes earlier and drove to the car wash. If they had good customer service, wouldn't they have notified me clips were missing and offer to replace (of course at a charge?). But no. When I got home I checked the undercarriage and now all clips are missing and they zip tied the undercarriage in place. read more

The review I am making is on the service department and not sales (which I have no experience). I tend to be picky with the service of my Honda. Thankfully this dealership has a really good service staff with pretty reasonable pricing. With an appointment my wait is reasonable and I'm always kept unformed as to the status of the service. I'll pay a little (stressing little) bit more to know that I'm getting good quality service with a dependable company, and Gary Force Honda has that covered! read more

They promised to do my cars oil change because it's free with purchase of car at the dealership. So I called ahead and asked if I needed to make any appointment because this was the first time I had ever bought a car here. The person on the phone said I will take care of you no need at all to make an appointment. So I got there and I got my tags and the license plate. So we give them the keys and stuff and we sit in the waiting room for about 30 minutes. They told me after I had already waited that it would be three hours I had to wait. And I don't come from there so I had to take a drive just to get here. So I decided I'm not waiting three hours. They said they could do it in 1 1/2 hours but I couldn't go do things I had to sit in that waiting room. So I just left it wasn't worth the drive!! read more

Ripped us more than once and tried other times. Sure, they are super friendly and you get to hang out in a cush TV room with coffee and hot chocolate and the like, but they charge about three times as much and have totally overlooked things that needed to be fixed when we brought our vehicle in for a check up pre-trip (specifically asking for the brakes to be inspected and they said they were fine but then they went out a little bit down the road) and recommended 1000+ dollar fixes that didn't actually need to occur on more than one occasion. So there's more to add from another more recent experience. We are now on our 4th Honda van key because they Break easily. On the last one broke I went into the dealership to get a new one made at 4:30 they told me they didn't have time to make it since they closed at five. Ok then... I went back on the Monday and even though someone told me I could get a cheaper option made that didn't have the remote, when I got there they told me it was going to be per hour labor charged programming the key and that I had to get it with the remote otherwise it wouldn't work. They quoted me between $130-140 for a key! I left and went to my local locksmith and they made me a new solid one without the remote for $10. It works. Lame! read more

Use to go here but don't anymore for a couple of reasons. One of their lady service people has an attitude. My wife was the first to encounter her and her 'attitude.' When I called them to see about a recall I happened to get the same lady and got the same 'attitude' that my wife had said she had encountered. The second thing is the price of service. It is MUCH higher, no matter what you get done, than anywhere else I have been. There is one lady and one guy that works in the service department that are professional and do it the right way but when you have to deal with a bad apple and pay that much it's not worth. Can just go across the road and deal with all professional employees and better prices. read more

Sold them my truck have waited over 3 weeks they say the loan has not been released when the place I have the loan through said it was released a week ago. They owe me money and don't want to pay it and won't return my phone calls. I work out of town or I would be there every day. Don't do business with them. read more

My husband bought his truck here and was happy with the service dept so I thought I would try. I used Gar Force regularly when I had ny Honda but had not used the used vehicle side for service. I dropped off my car and thought it was odd they didn't ask for my info, but could've been in system. 10 mins later they call to say I didn't have an acct. Gave my info, but she added my info to my husband's acct. They called me for pickup using my daughter's number. Picked up my car. Bill was more than quoted so when I got home I looked closer at bill. I had 32k miles on my car. The sheet listed over 134k. Not sure who's paperwork i had but it wasn't mine. She kept saying it was. My tires are good and my front brakes are good. No way that was my inspection sheet. read more

I have twice been here for service and both times it's been exceptional. Both times I went without an appointment and was quickly assisted. The service department seems eager to help and there is a nice waiting area with free refreshments and a computer. read more

Ritzy lounge while you wait for you car. Coffee, tea, water, wifi, and the built in "fireplace" makes you feel comfortable, regardless of how it may feel outside. My car was serviced well and quickly for an oil change. Furthermore, they did a 21 point inspection and provided a typed up report at the end to let me know how my car was doing. Lastly, the followup afterwards has been great. They seem to truly care. read more

I would leave no stars if that was possible and still leave my review. I had found a vehicle through searching at a sister dealership to this one. We called the sales person that we had been working with who has helped us previously look at and look for a vehicle. We asked him if it would be possible to move this vehicle to this local dealership A. for convenience and B. I was about to have surgery so it would be very helpful to us as it would be after surgery with all of this would be completed any way. He stated he would speak with his boss and that they would work on it. for two days we followed up daily and were told each day they were working on it. At the end of the second day our very helpful sales man called us and stated that his boss informed him that the sister dealership had sold the vehicle and had someone put a cash down payment on the car. No big deal we would move on and continue to look. As larger dealerships go they remove sold vehicles for their sites as soon as they are sold this same car continued to pop up as available. So we called the dealership it was at. We were informed by the MANAGER that Gary Force Honda had never called or attempted to try and transfer this vehicle. They had also NEVER had an offer on the vehicle. So my husband and I (just having surgery) drove to this dealership and bought the car whit great help from the staff and great offer on my car and they discounted the car we bought more. NEVER DEAL WITH THESE LYING CHEATING JERKS!!!! read more

I was totally ripped off when buying my car. I bought a 2018 Ford Fusion thinking it would be nice and reliable, it had 40000 miles on it when I bought it, I had it for 3 months and the transmission completely just goes out and they told me to go to ford and have it replaced. It is a constant nightmare with this car. It is constantly breaking, now it is missfireing and the transmission is slipping and ford refused to fix it and Honda doesn't seem to care thy just keep telling me to bring it back to ford even though the car has its factory warranty and they won't fix it so. I'm just not knowing what to do and stuck with a car I can't get rid of. read more

My family and I went in to buy a used vehicle from Gary Force and I will never go there again. We were told the lot price, then given a better one. We agreed to that price and wanted to move forward with the sale (per text message). Was texted an hour later saying "oh sorry the price is actually going to be a thousand dollars more that price was just a typo." We decided to give the guy a chance and really wanted to buy the car but after we test drove it, WE WERE GIVEN TWO DIFFERENT PRICES. Neither price we were given matched either of the text messages we were given. When the messages were brought up, we were accused of calling the salesperson a liar (which we never did), we opted to leave and he told us good luck finding anything! When the General manager was told about the horrible experience we had been through, he brought the price on the car back to the second price but never offered an apology for the actions of his salesperson. Bottom line they were rude to my family and reneged on their texted agreement. I have never, ever been treated so horribly anywhere and I was in the army reserves and married to an active duty member for 7 years! read more
