The diagnosis that I received here was wrong, it made sense because I was diagnosed in less than 10 minutes in just one visit. I was given a prescription to help, however I had to stop taking it because it would cause swelling around my eyes. (Another doctor that I saw about my eyes had told me to stop taking the medicine because of the swelling). I always felt rushed at my appointments. I always waited an hour or more which I can understand that it gets busy, but for my appointments to be 5-10 mins long feels like it's a waste. The staff did not feel particularly welcoming. It always felt a bit targeted especially because of the way I was talked to. Even my mom who would come with me to my visits noticed they were never nice to me. My current doctor takes a lot of time to explain everything and my visit is over an hour long. Not to mention, I received a letter that felt almost condescending in a way. The way it was worded was making it seem like I wasted their time, when it felt like they did not even care about their patient in the first place. I always make sure to pay my bills when I visit because I am asked to pay before seeing the doctor anyways. However, I was sent more bills that made no sense because I cannot check in unless I pay the bill, only one of the bills I received made sense because I had COVID so I could not show up. The other dates listed in the bill I knew I had paid for it, but due to the unwelcoming environment of the office, on top of the condescending letter I received, I just paid the bills because I did not want to interact with them again. Sorry for the long review, but I was extremely disappointed with the way things went during my visits here. I would have appreciated a far more careful examination.

I asked if lab tests would be covered by my insurance, & I was told "yes". Then I received lab…read morebills from California. Dr was reading laptop majority of visit time. I felt uncomfortable at 2 visits, my issues were not addressed- only treatment plan was return for 3rd visit. Then I was asked by Dr - ?why I thought I had RA.- Labs & previous treatment including Outpatient IV treatment for R was my answer.

Because the break is severe enough to needing surgery, my mom wanted to see an orthopedic specialist asap. The provider referred her to Rothman Orthopedics located at Lankenau Medical Center, which is 1 HOUR AWAY on 3:30pm. HOWEVER, my mom did not leave urgent care until 3PM but supposedly they told my mom that as long as theres an appointment made, it will be okay. We rushed through heavy traffic. I assumed that my mother was aware of the office hours. We made it to Rothman around 4:15pm. The problem is that there were no doctors available because they closed at 4:30PM. Not even on-call. I asked the receptionist if there is anything that they can do. She could have been EMPATHETIC and COMPASSIONATE to our situation. She was so non genuine and I could tell that once its close to closing time, she is mentally done, which is not acceptable. Mind you, my mother is in so much pain holding on to her wrist. The receptionist could have at least said "go to the ED" and/or be EMPATHETIC to our situation rather than looking at us with a blank stare. Even though my mother never saw the doctor in the office, the experience with the receptionist was not acceptable. I would NOT recommend this place if you want to be treated with respect and with care.

Then the nurse told me they won't discuss my MRI over the phone, that I would need to drive another 40 minutes and pay another $140 copay just to tell me my results. When I asked why they can't just tell me on the phone (which is something even my cancer doctor does) she said "talk to your insurance" and scurried out of the room. I assumed my appt was over and left ‍ Overall an unpleasant, apathetic experience

During that entire time, they never performed an X-ray or proper imaging. I was repeatedly told that I had plantar fasciitis ( and I thought I did ) and was treated for that diagnosis. After continuing to have severe pain, I sought another opinion. An X-ray was finally done, and it showed that I actually have a bone spur. Because the correct diagnosis was missed for so long, the condition has worsened and I now need surgery. Instead of identifying the root cause of the problem, my pain was simply masked with temporary treatments. If proper imaging had been done earlier, this could have been diagnosed and treated appropriately. as soon as the podiatrist touched my ankle and foot he said he could feel the problem lets take a xray to confirm he touched my foot and knew .... I would strongly encourage others to seek a provider who performs thorough evaluations and proper diagnostic testing before making a long-term diagnosis. i went monthly to this doctor office and never did they do any imagining. New doc did an image 5 minutes walking in front door and showed me the issues immediately and said this could have been avoided or at least not as painful and or bad... DO NOT GO HERE . Dr Monaco do better, get xrays and get patients help, don't mask issues. How could you not feel the issues the podiatrists immediately knew ...
