You can even hit balls from the rough or sand and practice your putting skills. What more could a golfer ask for? Excited, I purchased a round, grabbed my clubs, and started. The experience was nothing short of amazing. The technology was cutting-edge, and the staff was incredibly hospitable and professional. The General Manager offered solid advice to help improve my swing - thanks, young man. I highly recommend giving this place a shot. Despite being 45 minutes away, I'll be purchasing a package and visiting every couple of weeks. The technology, value, staff, and overall vibe are unbeatable. Enjoy your time there!

I stayed…read morehere for two nights and was hosted by a family member who has been a member for many years. Family members from the East and West Coast also stayed, which made for a wonderful time. The building is nostalgic and reminds me of country clubs I stayed at in New York State. The beautiful wood, the grand staircase, and the royal-colored decor took you back to the gilded age. Outside my bedroom window stood two magnolia trees with gorgeous blossoms. The room size was generous, and every morning a continental breakfast consisting of juice and pastries were available only steps away from my door. We enjoyed lunch by the golf course and walked the beautiful grounds. The club rules are reasonable, in my opinion - no denim, shirts must have collars, etc. Perhaps the most difficult rule to follow and remember was the cell phone rule - they aren't allowed. Frankly, not being enslaved to my phone was quite lovely. After a few hours of not using it, I didn't miss it. Also, not being able to use my phone to take photos or chat is the reason I didn't take pictures inside of the facility. I respected the rules. I did take a few photos of the front entrance, though. One of my family members had a reception and birthday party in the ballroom while I was there, hence my reason for staying. It was fabulous! The food, the cocktails, wine, and service were spectacular. From the swing music the band played to the yesteryear atmosphere and attire, this was one of the most memorable weekends I've had in quite some time.

Love the sports the Country Club gives! The food is excellent! The Hotel is fantastic!read more

Long version: The first time I needed to adjust the lie angle on my irons a few degrees. He was very friendly and professional at the time. He insisted on doing a lie angle board and I went along with it even though I knew what adjustment I needed. In retrospect I should have been more insistent, so I'll take responsibility for that, but he likes to stick to his process. The adjustment was much stronger than I planned on getting. After using my clubs for a few weeks, it felt off, so I ended up going back to him to get the adjustment I originally wanted. He was cool about it and made the adjustment. He charged less this time around - he actually hesitated charging at all. After building a rapport I planned on being a repeat customer. So several weeks later, I reached out to him about adjusting the loft on a single iron. I told him it wasn't urgent. We arrange a time to meet - all seemed ok. When I get there he starts doing the adjustment and the tone shifts. He starts telling me about how I'm wasting his time with this loft change and how other customers asking for small adjustments are wasting his time. He's dropping F bombs and coming across really hostile. Keep in mind, this is a paid service and didn't ask for this as a favor. 5 minute non-urgent job for $10. I was completely taken off guard. I found myself in a position verbally defending this adjustment that *I was paying for*. I couldn't believe this guy was mad about getting work requests directly related to his club repair business. He also could have turned down the job before we both went through the trouble of meeting. I was very explicit on what the adjustment request was. Bizarre. I've read other reviews about similar outbusts and I totally understand now. Based on the reviews, he can be really great or really angry. I've seen both sides after 3 visits and after that uncomfortable encounter I don't think it's worth the unpredictable volatility.

I had booked our tee times well in advance, but there was a bit of a miscommunication on the books when we arrived, and the staff seemed surprised by our family check-in. Honestly, Nate was the absolute MVP of the day. Without him, our day would have been ruined. So, we truly appreciate him and we were so grateful that he went above and beyond to get us completely taken care of, ensuring our family was able to stick together and play/spectate as a group for the whole round. We timed the day perfectly, wrapping up on the 18th hole right around 8 PM. To cap off a great day, we had dinner at The Conservatory. The customer service there was top-notch, and the food was exceptional. My dad enjoyed it so much that he already wants to come back to try out the Ocean Course next time--hopefully with a more organized situation at check-in!

The grounds are lush, green, and beautifully maintained, with so many picturesque areas for photos. There are so many beautiful backdrops throughout the property, which gave us plenty of options for photos. We especially loved the ceremony area. It feels secluded and intimate, which created such a beautiful setting for our ceremony and made the moment feel incredibly special. The ballroom is spacious and worked wonderfully for our large wedding. We had plenty of room for our guests, dining, dancing, and reception activities without the space feeling cramped. The food was great and we had no complaints. We had the cod with grape tomato vinaigrette, roast beef, and chicken Marsala, and our guests enjoyed the meal. We also brought in some additional food from outside vendors to supplement the appetizers, which worked really well for us and gave our guests even more variety. One thing to keep in mind is that there is only one bar, so the line can get a little long during busy periods, especially with a larger wedding. An additional bar option for larger weddings would definitely be a nice addition. But the biggest highlight of our experience was our day-of coordinator, Jacoby. She was absolutely AMAZING! We loved working with her and genuinely could not have asked for a better coordinator. I had a very specific vision for our wedding and did a lot of DIY decor, and Jacoby was incredible. She set up all of our DIY decor and executed my vision flawlessly. I was able to hand everything over to her on the wedding day and completely trust that she would bring everything together exactly how I envisioned it. And she did! Seeing everything set up and beautifully executed was such an amazing feeling. Beyond the decor, Jacoby was attentive, organized, responsive, and incredibly calm throughout the entire day. She handled so many details behind the scenes and was always one step ahead. She made sure everything was where it needed to be, kept the day moving smoothly, and took care of issues before they ever became something we had to worry about. She genuinely cared about our wedding and making sure we had the day we envisioned. Having Jacoby there allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about logistics. We are so grateful for all of her hard work, attention to detail, and the care she put into making our day so special. She truly went above and beyond, and she was a huge part of why our wedding day was so seamless. Once Jacoby left for the evening, Jovani took over as our captain for the night, and he was fantastic as well. He made sure we continued to be taken care of and kept everything running smoothly throughout the rest of the evening. He was attentive, helpful, and made sure we had what we needed without us having to worry about anything. It was such a relief knowing that even after Jacoby left, we were still in great hands with Jovani. We are so grateful to both Jacoby and Jovani for taking such great care of us. Overall, it is a beautiful wedding venue with gorgeous grounds, an intimate ceremony setting, and a spacious ballroom. Combined with the support we received from the Wedgewood team, especially Jacoby, it was a wonderful place to celebrate our wedding. We would absolutely recommend it to other couples!

When first starting our wedding planning, we didn't want to deal with booking all the individual vendors like DJ, Florist, Bartenders, etc so that's when we found out about Wedgewood and the all-inclusive packages they offer that can also be customized to what you want. This was soo much more convenient and stress-free for us. All of the planning coordinators were very helpful and any of them responded back to our emails very quickly. However, the success of our wedding day was really due to our assigned coordinator Allison, who was absolutely amazing--she was so down-to-earth, personable, and was so knowledgeable/helpful answering our (many) questions and requests throughout the wedding planning process and on the day of. It honestly felt like we were planning our wedding with a close friend. On the day of our wedding, Allison was constantly checking up on both of us, but especially me (or so it felt!), making sure I was staying hydrated, adjusting my hair and veil for me, bringing me things that I needed, or even communicating with my family members for me while I got ready in the bridal suite. She even brought appetizers from our cocktail hour to us in the bridal suite since she knew we'd be too busy mingling later to get some ourselves, which we really appreciated. I'm sure all of Wedgewood's coordinators are fantastic, but we highly, highly recommend Allison because of how much she did to ensure everything ran smoothly. For our reception, our banquet captain was Simren, and she also did an amazing job taking over the event after Allison's shift was over. Simren knew all of the details of our reception just as well as Allison, and was so attentive and was alway nearby to help get us anything we needed. Allison and Simren, if you're reading this, thank you so much again for everything--our wedding day was so magical, and one of the best day of our lives, in huge part thanks to you!
