I went in and they listened attentively, got my approval of the materials to use before starting, and charged a fair price. They asked if I had a specific date I needed them; since I didn't they were ready in 3 days. The quality of the work is top notch. I have not received good service here. I needed small flat heels replaced on my boots, which is a pretty easy job. They wanted to charge me $40.00, which is way over the top. I will never go back here again. Insulting me, by saying that I can't afford your service, just goes to show your negative customer service. They did such a great job. I brought in three pairs of shoes. One Jeffery Campbell ballet Mary Jane suede flats I've had FOREVER. They repaired the back heel that had a lot of scuff, replaced the leather sole, elastic on the strap, outsole and the bottom heel (which was basically non exist). They brought this one back to life! They also repaired two of my Madewell wood & leather platforms. They replaced the elastic and repaired the leather strap. All for a responsible price. I bought a pair of brand new high-heeled shoes online and the first time I wore them, the heel fell off of one of the shoes. I tried and tried to hammer it back in with no luck. Finally, an excellent cobbler to keep my favorite heels in tip top shape! I brought in 3 pairs of Louboutins for heel taps & new soles. One pair, the heel was rather mangled from an unfortunate incident, and another is a custom pair that had been strassed (with about 8,000 Swarovski crystals!), which requires special care when working on them. Well, I picked my shoes up today, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! The two pairs of patent leather heels (one red and one black) were both polished and shiny, looking brand new! He took and repaired the mangled leather on the black pair, and they look great! His placement of the rubber soles was perfection and the heel tips used were of highest quality. But I have to utterly commend for the handling of my strassed pair. Not a single Crystal is missing and they are in perfect condition. BRAVO! As a shoe addict, I have found a new place to bring my babies for a spa treatment. He is a little pricier than my previous cobbler in Orange County, but the location and level of customer service makes it worth the extra couple of dollars. My mother and I were just stopping by and as we were parking and grabbing my clothes for alterations the lady comes out running yelling at us saying we cant park in front of the store and to go away while yelling in her language as well. This place was more than unsatisfactory. My clothes was said to be done October 5. I didn't need them right away so I left them there for a couple weeks hoping to give them extra time if needed. It's now October 21st and nothing has been done except 4 pairs of leggings I had shortened. No one called to tell me that my clothes weren't going to be done on time or would take longer. Then I was going to let it pass and have it done anyway but then my price was changed. My Original ticket didn't "count" because it was just to keep track of my items and not the price which no one told me about either. There is very little communication in this place and the pricing is ridiculous. Never coming back. read more

This place is a rip off and the owner is a thief. He advertizes his business as a shoe repair shop but they do alterations, laundromat services and jewelry repair... all of which are done poorly. I've had my clothes damaged here with no apology and no refund. He charged me an arm and a leg to fix my bracelet and it broke in a week. Again, no refund. I am so disgusted and disappointed that I wanted to share this story with you so that the same thing doesn't happen to you. I took my beautiful white gown with pearls to have it cleaned and when I went to pick it up they told me that they could not find the gown. Then, they changed their mind and told me it was stolen and that they were NOT going to reimburse to cover the costs of replacing my gown. They made up some story that the OTHER place stole it, yet instead of taking responsibility for their actions, they blamed it on the other store. Please be wary of them.
