I said nothing but thanks anyway and left and I will not be back. Why would I want to buy overpriced items to then be treated like a nuisance instead of a customer just trying to get what they need? They offer delivery for big buys at a good rate but if you are only buying a few hundred of items, its better to do it yourself. That process is kinda wonky if you havent done it before, so that is what I going to outline for you so you look like a pro instead of a bumbling dummy like I did. 1. You park in front of the building, not the side past the guard shack 2. When you enter the store, the large service counter to your immediate right is where you pay for everything and where you order lumber. Looks like a will call area since the are sitting down and it seems like you are peering down into someones office space. 3. After you pay, they give you the receipt stapled to a large pink sheet. They will tell you to drive around to pick it up. 4. When you back up, drive to the guard shack, that guy will check the pink sheet, possibly radio the next guy. They will tell you to drive on. Drive in and keep going, even if you see the area where the items you have to pick up are obviously stacked, till you see someone that works there holding a bunch of paper work and a radio. Give him your sheet and he will tell you where to go next. Right back to the pile you passed. 5. Park and wait for him to show up with a fork lift. They will load it for you. But make sure you count that there is enough. 6. When you are fully loaded, you must stop at the guard shack again. That guy will recheck your load against the pink sheet again and tell you that you can go. Thats it :-) If you skip a step or do them out of order like I did (they dont tell you any of this inside even when asked) you will be waiting a long time or made to drive in circles. They also sell sell hardware, plumbing, crawfish pots, generators , etc. Give them a shot, its like a old fashioned hardware store inside, but a mega big box lumber yard outside.

I stopped and asked a man with a pony tail, who was in the wood section could he assist me, and showed him the table that I wanted the wood to be the length of and he told me go to aisle 51 I believe and I should find some. I told him that I had already went over there but the wood seems to be to big or small and could I get it cut. He told me that I could and go look for a bald guy by the cutting area and he should be able to help me. There was not anyone over in that area. I continue to shop and walk around, and I then seen Tyren two sections over from the wood area, and asked him for assistance. He pulled out a tape measure IMMEDIATELY. Then proceeded to walk me over to the same aisle the man told me, measured the wood and then took it to the cutting table area! Tyren not only made my shopping there great, but also impacted me to not be discourage to come back again based off the first interaction with the older man with the pony tail. Tyren deserves some type of recognition for providing the best customer service ! As Tyren was assisting me, he still was actively assisting other customers as you can see in the video ! I'm not sure if there's more than one Tyren, but this Tyren has dreads, and is African American ! Please give this man the recognition he deserves and earned ! The other man was older, and Caucasian. This was Sunday 12/14/25 and the wood was getting cut at 5:26pm!

Men still give me dirty looks like I shouldn't be in there, but I just bulldooze my way in. I'm hip enough to utilize the app while in store to help me find items. For what i need on a regular basis this location is easy. If I want a broader selection of construction items (doors, etc), I'll pop over to the Central City location. You can find me in Paint or Garden once a week for certain.

This is a industrial type hardware store for the surrounding industrial yards here on Engineers…read moreroad. They can pretty much get you any type of fastening hardware as well as regular things like tools, angle grinders and all tread sticks. The difference here is that it is laid out in a more traditional hardware store, where the bulk of the store is out in front, not behind the counter like most similar places. This is my go to place when I need 200 2" diameter grade G bolts or tubs of nickle anti seize. They usually have big time heavy duty items in that bulk amount. If not, there is a big nationwide network that they draw from and can get it delivered to this store in just a few days. Its open to the public, but keep in mind that items such as hardware is typically in bulk, you might luck out and its in small packs of 4.
