He told me that I could and go look for a bald guy by the cutting area and he should be able to help me. There was not anyone over in that area. I continue to shop and walk around, and I then seen Tyren two sections over from the wood area, and asked him for assistance. He pulled out a tape measure IMMEDIATELY. Then proceeded to walk me over to the same aisle the man told me, measured the wood and then took it to the cutting table area! Tyren not only made my shopping there great, but also impacted me to not be discourage to come back again based off the first interaction with the older man with the pony tail. Tyren deserves some type of recognition for providing the best customer service ! As Tyren was assisting me, he still was actively assisting other customers as you can see in the video ! For what i need on a regular basis this location is easy. If I want a broader selection of construction items (doors, etc), I'll pop over to the Central City location. This is a industrial type hardware store for the surrounding industrial yards here on Engineers…read moreroad. They can pretty much get you any type of fastening hardware as well as regular things like tools, angle grinders and all tread sticks. The difference here is that it is laid out in a more traditional hardware store, where the bulk of the store is out in front, not behind the counter like most similar places. This is my go to place when I need 200 2" diameter grade G bolts or tubs of nickle anti seize. They usually have big time heavy duty items in that bulk amount. If not, there is a big nationwide network that they draw from and can get it delivered to this store in just a few days. Its open to the public, but keep in mind that items such as hardware is typically in bulk, you might luck out and its in small packs of 4.

I'm a fan of Harbor Freight, honestly, mainly because you just cannot beat the value. I always hit them up for the cheap stuff you burn through, like zip ties, work gloves, and those little hardware organizers. But for my real tools, I've been pleasantly surprised. Their ICON and Doyle stuff is fantastic quality for way less than what the major brands charge. My Hercules power tools have been totally solid for every project I've thrown at them, too. The main thing is figuring out when to spend a little more on their premium lines, like Hercules or ICON, and when you can get away with the budget Pittsburgh items. If you remember to pull up a coupon or two, which is super easy, the savings are incredible. It's my absolute go-to whenever I need affordable gear.

After this I feel like this store is not honest and I will not be shopping here again. I tried talking to customer service who claimed this was on the receipt and on their website - which is great except I shopped IN STORE and it's not shown on my receipt until AFTER purchase - as in I had no way of knowing about this until AFTER the purchase. Never trusting this company after this scam.
