I've been here quite a few times for a couple of events such as Disney on ice and about two other shows this particular day I was here attending a job fair a job that was offering opportunities for the city of Gwinnett county. This place is pretty big and not too far from the mall with a great view. A lot of parking spaces usually where there is an event here they have the concession stand up and running and small business selling items as well, depending on what the event consist of. Again, this particular event brought me here because of the jobs there so there were pros and cons lots of volunteers and people to help assist, but if you ask me, it could've been a lot a lot a lot more more organized it lacked badly . I'm not sure if it was not enough volunteers or enough directions that went around the job fair started at 9 AM. It was over at 3 PM. I arrived at around noon made it in pretty quickly and I was instructed where to go. After that, you were pretty much left to fish for yourself no real signs on what was being 100% offered or if you should join the line no information about how many people they were looking to hire per each position or what kind of background would be needed we were just told pretty much. A stadium that converts itself for each event it holds has mass appeal. I have come to Gas South District for several events. Two of my favorites are WINTER JAM 2024 & Hockey games with my husband. This stadium has excellent appeal and is easy to get to. Parking is abundant both outdoor and garages. Once inside you are able to find your seating with the assistance of ushers and other staff. They even have handicap valets to get you to the proper seating. I can say I have had seats midway in the decks all the way to floor seats center. The massive screens allowed me to never miss a shot or singer. This arena offers season tickets for the hockey fan. Or VIP meet & greets for the music lovers in us all. read more

The Gas South Arena is an indoor arena in Duluth, Georgia. It is located approximately 22 miles northeast of Atlanta. I always remembered this place as Infinite Center Arena, but I guess they rebranded and even expanded to now call it the Gas South District. The last time I was here was probably more than a decade ago, but I recently got a chance to visit to work a k-pop act, and this is a nice arena to have a good show! This place has more than just an arena; it has a theater as well as multiple venues where shows can be done - I was specifically working in the Gas South Arena, which is where the Georgia Swarm play their lacrosse games. I like this venue because you don't necessarily have to make the drive to Atlanta. It's not as big as State Farm but it still seats a fair amount of people and it's in the metro area which is really nice. I don't know when the next time I'll be back but this is definitely a pretty decent venue in terms of concerts. read more

Well, I wonder if I'll get dinged for writing this review b/c I work at Infinite Energy Center? Oh well, a review needs to be done and I see nobody has said anything yet on the Theater. Infinite Energy Theater is a 702 seat Theater that can host pretty much any type of show, all the way to off Broadway productions. It sits off-center on the Infinite Energy Center campus, closer to the Satellite Blvd Entrance (near the Embassy Suites). One thing I need to make clear is that this is a HIDDEN gem for Gwinnett County, as most residents don't know anything about it's existence. Sadly that shows in a lot of events that come through there, minus the Nutcracker. There isn't a lot of Marketing to promote the events, so there can be a lot of empty seats. Parking is free, and there is more than enough parking available. Once you walk in, you come into a huge foyer with the Box Office on the left and concessions in front of you. They do sell beer and wine for most events, which is a plus. They have an upper level, with a winding staircase or elevator to reach it. Bathrooms are located on the 2nd floor, which is partially why I bumped it down a star, but they are very nice. There are box seats, as you'd expect for a Theater, plus Orchestra & Pit Level seating. There is no bad seat in the house, and acoustics are great. I've attended 4 events already in the Theater: Champions of Magic, Decades Rewind, Book of Moron (yes, Moron, it's a comedy) and a Samurai Show. Three of the shows were not very packed, and it's really beyond belief to me. The Book of Moron was very funny, with a one-man show. He was clearly talented with his skit and doing improv on the side. The Magic Show I took my son to, and he certainly enjoyed it. I did a date night with Decades Rewind, which was a concert, where the singers performed songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today, while changing clothing to match the decade they were singing songs in. You can find great deals for events here, and it's certainly worth a trip. They have everything from family shows to concerts to ballets to date night events.
