Being that they have bleachers, there was a lot of rattling going on and seating got tricky because it was bleachers style seating. These are my reasons why no 5-stars.... oh yeah be ready to walk some stairs, depending on your gate entrance. Each staff member I encountered was very helpful and nice. There were plenty of stalls in the restroom and it was clean. I'm not sure of the concession stand or stands because we stopped, ate and drank before we got there. It did look as if there is no bad seat in the stadium, rather high or low. I could go back for a game for sure but probably nor for a concert.

As a new GT alum, I'm clearly biased, but this really is one of my favorite stadiums. The field looked great, and the staff was organized and helpful throughout the day. The Jumbotrons are crisp and well-positioned, so guests seated all around had a clear view of the field. My guests also raved about the amazing city skyline views from the stands, depending on where you're seated. And of course, the Ramblin' Wreck made its iconic appearance--a highlight for anyone who knows Tech tradition. The Wreck is a 1930 Ford Model A and Georgia Tech's official mechanical mascot. It leads the football team onto the field at all our home games, and seeing it roll onto the field for graduation gave the day a uniquely nostalgic, GA Tech feel. A few practical tips: *Clear bag policy is strictly enforced--especially important for women with purses. One of my guests had to "bag check" hers, ouch *Mobile tickets only, which scanned without any hiccups. *Security screening includes metal detectors at all entrances. *It's an open-air stadium, so you're exposed to the elements--no umbrellas allowed, and we had rain in the forecast. Ponchos or rain jackets are a must! *Parking can be tricky, and traffic around campus gets intense--Uber is a good call if you can swing it. All in all, a beautiful venue with rich tradition and a killer skyline backdrop. A perfect place to catch a college football game or celebrate becoming a Helluva Engineer!

We hired Atlanta Special Events to help us do a casino night for our company summer party this…read moreyear. Our summer party was held inside Gate City Brewing Company's private event space - similar to a large garage - in Roswell, a suburb about 30 minutes north of Atlanta. Gate City's space wasn't terribly big, so we had to be strategic about how many gaming tables we would be able to fit inside their space. We also had to account for tables for the food caterer and tables for guests to sit/stand and eat/drink. We ended up going with three tables: 1. Blackjack 2. Craps 3. Roulette If I recall correctly, Atlanta Special Events had five employees on-hand. There was one person at the blackjack table (dealer), two at craps, and two at roulette. The second person at the roulette table was sort of like the pit boss. He controlled the play money and dispersed it to anyone who asked. When it came to giving away money, there really was no hard and fast rule. If you ran out of money or simply wanted more money, he'd give it to you. At the end of the night (our party was a three-hour affair), everyone cashed in. The folks from Atlanta Special Events counted everyone's cash. Each person received a ticket with their name on it and the total amount of cash they ended up with for the night. Our company gave away prizes to the top five money winners. I think each of us started out with $200-300 worth of play money and our ultimate winner, who I believe won by a landslide, ended up with tens of thousands of dollars. He did it by camping out at the roulette table. The event staff was dressed formally in white or black shirts with bow ties. I noticed a sixth person arrived towards the end of the night to help the crew pack up the tables and depart. The game tables and chips were good quality and there were even coasters for us to place our beverages on. Everyone looked like they were having a great time and I heard nothing but positive things about the games. Several people told me they had fun. If you're looking to do a casino night for your party, I recommend these guys. Atlanta Special Events also offers other games like murder mysteries, provides various forms of entertainment such as DJs and singers, and they even handle events like grand openings and weddings.

First of all, please accept this review as constructive criticism.  The building is a house…read moreconverted to a venue.  The event center is downstairs and is very small.  The workers kept walking throughout the performance crossing in front of us.  There was nowhere to place my legs with the card table set-up.  Management did not place my group at the correct table, and they kept inquiring about the number of our table.   Poor service; very unprofessional.  The bar was set up in a corner.  Drinks were weak.   They acted as though this was their first time serving patrons.  We ordered simultaneously, and two of us received their food (a pasta dish and hot wings).  The food was cold.  After 30 minutes, we received chicken tacos, which were soft tacos shells and some substance supposedly chicken.  It looked more like turkey to us; no flavour and extremely cold.  We were totally taken back.  Apparently,  there isn't a functioning kitchen at the facility. Not even sternos to keep the food hot.  Where is the quality?  Why put an event together and it was thrown together?  We try to patronize black owned businesses, but to present that poor quality is a disservice to us.  Then, on top of that, the emcee was a straight-from-the-hood woman with poor grammar that talked on and on about nothing.  Quite simply, jazz is classy music that attracts a certain genre of people.  The band played and moved as though they were auditioning or rehearing.  During the intermission, they presented spoken word.  Horrible.  We left in the middle of the poet's set.  They even allowed the photographer to speak, thanked his girlfriend, and solicited his services.  I will never recommend this establishment or "band."  A waste of my hard earned dollars, time and patience.  I will be sharing with all forms of social media to put the word out. The parking was not bad at all. I was parked in a parking garage. It seemed really safe and there was an officer riding around from the time that I got out of the car until the time I walked to the front door. Everything about the decorations, the music, the layout, the bar, the passing of the hors d'oeuvre by the catering company the whole decor. The whole set up was amazing and I only paid five dollars for parking when I left the garage that was absolutely a bonus, especially when you're in Buckhead, if I ever have an opportunity to host an event, I would love for it to be at the museum.
